The cold wind hit Vivian's face as she woke up in the morning on her bed. The black haired girl didn't share her room with other students, she was all alone and she didn't really mind since she didn't have to share her room back in the mansion. It was 5 o clock in the morning and Vivian get up from her bed walking toward the shower and took a shower with her favorite soap which had a sweet scent. After getting out of the shower, she let her black hair swung on her back as she dried her self and took her clothes from the wardrobe. The reason why she got up at 5 was that the corridors were empty and that she could dance all by herself without anyone disturbing her. 5 o clock in the morning was way too early for students to wake up, this was actually the second time Vivian woke up at 5 in the morning, she was always up at 8 or 9 but since she had classes at that time she had to wake up at 7 which disappoint her even more.

Walking down to the common room and seeing no one there, Vivian smiled and exit, walking toward the corridors. It was still dark and it was cold, in fact, it was snowing out there and Vivian didn't care a bit. She pulled her coat closer to her and wrapped the scarf around herself. Soon, the girl reached a corridor away from the common room. She dropped her bag and carefully took her scarf away from her and hung her coat, but she was wearing another jacket which wasn't that thick. She shivered and played a classical music Tchaikovsky, Waltz of flower as she walk to the middle and started to warm up. After warming up, she stood up straight and start dancing, working on her her grand pirouette for several time. It was easy for her since she could do more than that but unfortunately she wasn't concentrating and accidentally twisted her ankle. She moan in pain and held her legs hoping that a professor or someone would actually wake up at 5.30 and helped her. This was the second time she did that, the first time was last week and she was about to snowboard with her brother and this was the second time. The first time wasn't as bad as this tho, she could still walk but not now. She sat there quietly while massaging her legs.

Isaac lay awake. His light brown eyes stared up at the dark ceiling of the boys dormority. He shared this room with two of his friends. The ones he lived with outside of school. They had been sharing dorms since day 1 and they had made sure no one else had joined the dorm which suited Isaac since it was always hard to sleep in the same room as someone who wasn't really known. Isaac could barely see anything, mainly as it was pitch black in the room. They all slept better in darkness. But also because Isaac wasn't wearing his glasses. He had no clue what time it was, butwhat he did know what that it was early. He'd barely slept. He'd gone to bed late after catching up on the work he has meant to do the day before, he didn't normally fall behind but Isaac had fallen ever so slightly behind the others in his year.Isaac blamed it on the fact he had had his sister round. Which for him had put things slightly more into perspective. Knowing that at least she knew. Isaac was growng annoyed with just laying on his bed staring up at nothing. Slowly he pushed himself up not sitting up but holding himself up with his hands. He pushed himself against the beds head board and looked around the room. He could only vaguely see the masses on the bed. Every thing was just a little bit blurrly. Isaac reach over to his table to pick up the glasses. He did not both to look round. Knowing it would be pointless since he couldn't see in the first place. He moved his hand around the table, but he couldn't, Seem to find them. Isaac looked round to the table and squinted his ryes at it. He believed that this helped him see without his glasses. A large crash and several little ones made Isaac suddenly aware that he'd caused his glasses to fall. Along with several other items it seemed by the nature and noiseof the crash. Isaac leapt from the bed and on his hands and knees fumbled for his glasses. He found them easily since he knew better where they were. Quickly he slipped them on and everything became slightly clearer. It was still dark in the room but things were less blurry. Usually Isaac would put his contacts on but that would cause a little too much more noise and Isaac wasn't in the mood to wake his room mates.

After slipping on a pair of joggies and a jumper Isaac left the dorm. He had his hood up and his light brown hair was flattened and covering the side of his face and eyes. Isaac walked the empty halls regretting his decision to not wear socks, since the ground he was walking on was as cold as the snow that was fallin outside. Having lived in Boston before France, h was used to snow of that thickness. Although in Southern Frnace snow was a rare occurance. It happened just once in a blue moon. Isaac walked slowly through the halls. His mind frozen from the cold and his thoughts remaining on the soft snow and the fac that it was early. He stopped and looked to his wrist. He knew he didn't wear a watch but from habit, he would glance down and pretend. Now all that stared up at him was his tattoo. Simple and amazing. Live fast. Die young. It was the words that he lived by. Though he had no intention of dying. They were metaphorical, he was sure. Isaac's ears as he stared at his wrist picked up on a sound. It filled the empty hallways. It made the falling snow outside seem like more than just snow. He followed the sound, quickening his step, until he could hear it no more. It had stopped. He was standing outside a room. His eyes glanced to the door. The light brown eyes knew that was where the sound Had come from. Isaac was curious. Very curious so he walked to the door and then into his room. The room was lighter than the corridor and Isaac had to give it a few minutes so his eyes could adjust. When they had his light brown eyes scanned the room. It was then he noticed the girl. Sitting on the floor massaging her ankle. Isaac watched her closely before going over. "Hey are you alright?" Isaac said as he approached the girl. He no longer sounded like the Boston boy he had ben his American accent was fading slowly, and his voice sounded more French. He then wondered if the girl even spoke English. Isaac noticed the girls other jacket. He walked over to it and picked it of the hook before walking over to the girl. "Are you okay? Do you what your jacket?" His slowly improving french sounded. It was better than it had been, and there were not that many errors. Isaac was a fair speaker. He knelt down on the one knee and held the jacket out to her. "You should stay warm in this cold" He said with a smile. While aware of his cold toes. As he held the jacket out to her he could see that a tiny part of his tattoo, he hoped the girl wouldn't notice.

The cold winter breeze hit Vivian's face as age stayed quietly trying to figure out what was going to happen to her. If she stayed sitting all by herself on the cold floor then she might caught flu and ended up in the hospital wing which wasn't good at all. Vivian felt a sudden relieve when he saw a boy took her coat and placed it on her shoulder. She knew right away that he wasn't French, first of all it was his American accent and second... There's no second, that was the only reason why he was American. "I'm trying to be alright" she Said with her Canadian accent which wasn't too different from his American accent. The girl smiled weakly as she pulled her coat closer to her, buttoning it one by one all the way to the neck. "I was practicing my ballet and I had a little accident" she blushed feeling stupid for not being able to dance without twisting her ankle."Why are you up so early?" she asked curiously "And thanks for bringing my coat by the way" the girl thanked him and smiled.

Vivian tried to get up but it was so hard. Good thing that she hurt a leg not both. She stood up, standing on a leg, pretending that she was alright. But actually it was sitting was better than standing even though the floor was cold. Vivian regretted leaving the common room. Without telling her brother, Brad. At leas he would come with her or look for her if she wasn't back in an hour. Curiously with a little panic tone, Vivian asked the boy "do you know Brad? Brad Kuang?" she said trying to hide the pain on her feet. She bit her lower lip hoping that he knew who Brad was. Because if he knew that Vivian could ask him to get Brad for her and then gave him something in return. But if he didn't know him then she had to force herself to walk.

Isaac was glad when the familiar Canadian twang sounded in the girls voice. He gave her a warm smile and shrugged. He wasn't the kind of guy with a damsel in distress complex, he was the kind of guy who would help someone if he could. He wouldn't always try and be the hero. It just wasn't Isaac's way of working. He shrugged again, shrugging to her thanks. Any decent human would'vedone the same. Obviously Isaac didn't just think of himself as another human being. He was individual. Unique. But still, it wasn't like Isaac spent his time fighting against societies standards. He more than upheld them in his little group of friends. He stood up as the girl did, seeing quite clearly that standing up was not the best idea. He wondered why the girl would want to practice at this hour, whatever hour it was. Early and in a cold classroom. The common rooms were a lot warmer and they would be a lot more comfortable if someone got hurt. Plus there was a greater chance of being found, it had been by sheer good luck that Isaac had left his dorm early. Very early. Really had no idea what he would've done. But Isaac could bet he would've gone straight to the kitchens but half way there it would've gotten to cold for him to be bother and he would've gone back to the dorm and his warm bed. "I couldn't sleep. I donmt even know what time it is. My dorm was so dark and I didn't want to wake any of the guys." Isaac watched her quizzically, wondering if he should help support her. Or tell her to sit back down. He had no idea how to deal with a twisted ankle.

"What time is it?" Isaac asked, letting his light brown eyes find there way to the floor as his mind thought. He looked back up at the girl, and rubbed his eyes. Never go out at this hour alone. He wanted to say but he didn't want to intrude. He didn't even know her name. Nor would he need to. This he betted would be the only time he met her. Isaac was at times a tad pessimistic. But he had his friends. He was always making others but they were never immediate close friends. Just friends. "I'm not an expert but you probably shouldn't stand up." Isaac took a step towards her. The girl went on to ask if he knew A Brad. "No, i'm sorry. I don't. I doubt he'll be up though. Maybe you should sit down for another few minutes, then I can take you to Brad. Unless you would like me to go get him." Isaac asked, keeping his voice calm, well as calm as he could.

Vivian dropped herself to the ground right before the boy recommended her it was better to sit than standing up. She groaned as she remember that her brother wasn't in the castle, he had something to do back in Beijing along with their parents. "Forget it, Brad's not here" She sigh feeling cold sitting on the floor. "It should be 6 now, maybe you should go back to bed later on" She paused and forced herself to smile as she stare at the garden which was full of snow. "Hey, you know any spell that could heal my ankle?" She asked curiously hoping that he knew it. If her twin brother Brad was there, she knew that he could do something with her and she felt stupid for hurting herself even though it was an accident. Vivian couldn't think of anything else except her feet that was painful at the moment. She felt rude for not giving any attention to the boy since she was too focused on her feet. "I'm Vivian by the way, Vivian Kuang" She introduced herself to the boy trying not to think about her feet or ankle.

The ballet shoes were still attached on Vivian's feet, she took it off and grab the boots beside her, wearing it since it was cold. She took the scarf and wrapped it around her neck and took the glove as well and wore it as she sat there looking like an idiot.
"This place is dead" She snorted as she look around finding nobody but the two of them there. "Do you snowboard?" Asking randomly as she eyed the snow hoping that she could ski or at least snowboard with her brother. Her older sister was an excellent figure skater although Vivian was better, the eldest wasn't into winter sport but the youngest was the craziest, he was great at everything especially winter sport. "I wish I could snowboard now, it's perfect! Too bad we can't get out of this place" She sigh and let out a small laugh before trying to get up. "I think I can walk now" She walked slowly forcing herself to walk even tho it hurt so bad.
