[Wolfgang Baros]

Wolfgang Baros had been hanging around with Mantis for a while now, and still struggled with how to court her properly. Muggles were like a different species to him. Wolfgang knew all the magical things that he wondered if he was legally able to show her. That was why he chose to work in the Ministry. He worked in an area so that he could understand muggles a little more. It would help him understand more of Mantis, but so far, he had not learned much of anything. He needed some help with it but had no one to talk to about it. So, rather than get advice, he might as well ask a muggle under the guise of something else. He could work that sneaky angle. He invited Mantis out to his home which was on the beach. He had plans to tell her about his new job. He waved his wand to remove and hide all of the more dangerous, magical items in his home. He just failed to see that it now looked more like a vacation home without anything personal there. He started to pour some wine in a couple of glasses, and had casual clothes on. Perfect. A small get together.​

 

[Mantis Moth]

Mantis Moth Was so excited to be visiting Wolfgang in his home. The two had been hanging out (seeing each other? What did she consider it?) for a fair bit of time and the girl felt like she could really see this going somewhere. She only hoped he felt the same and he wasn't just fascinated by her lack of knowledge of the magical world. She arrived at the beach house, having had her sister take her, and smoothed out her summer dress before knocking on the door. It was in that moment that the young adult was suddenly a little nervous, she had no idea what expectations were at this point and only hoped they weren't so high she couldn't reach.

Wolfgang heard the knock on the door, and suppressed his giddy laughter. Was he going to invite her in, or have a walk on the beach, or sit outside with the beach in their view? Wolfgang walked over and opened the door, still wearing some of his wizarding robes. He looked over her dress and grinned, "You look cute. Come in, come in!" Wolfgang had to tell her that he changed his job. He worked on potions before, but now he was a government man. Wait, why did that sound so lame? It really did. "I've got some news, so make yourself comfortable. Nothing here will come out and harm you. I put the magic items away before you came just to be sure." Wolfgang was glad that he didn't have a crup because then that would be vicious for her.​
