[Lexi Rodriguez]

Lexi was the dorms when she remember that she and Andrew will be having some flying teaching stuffs today. She wore her nature green sweater, underneath was a blue tee shirt, cream color cotton jeans and cream color sneakers. Lexi took her broom under her bed and walked out of the dorm, she couldn't believe she was doing this and promise to try not to do stupid stuffs.

She walked at pitch holding her broom like she didn't care what's happening on it. Lexi looked around the pitch seeing Andrew was not still there, You can still go back if you want to kill Aeon and just forget about the promise her thought said. "I can't betray a friend." She said quietly and waited for Andrew to come.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

Andrew walked out of his Transfiguration classroom and remembered that he had promised to meet Lexi at the Qudditch Pitch. He went straight to the pitch with his bag. It was a nice day for flying he thought as he looked up at the sky. As he arrived to the Pitch, he put his bag at the stands and spotted Lexi with her broom. Oh! I forgot my broom he thought as he took out his wand and slowly said "Accio Emerald Streak" and walked to Lexi as he waited for his broom to come.

"Hey Lexi, I hope you didnt have to wait much. We had a test today, so I got a bit late" he said with a smile. "So, you ready for flying?"he asked grinning.

Lexi smiled as she saw Andrew walking toward her, "Hey." she greeted him and smiled. You could turned back Said her mind again, "Yah, I'm ready." Lexi put a weak smile on her pinkish lips. I would kill Aeon next time around Lexi answered her minds suggestion, "How's your test?" She asked Andrew.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

"It was good except perhaps the last question" he said thoughtfully ."But, now we shall not waste our time in talking and do something purposeful" he said with a smile as he mounted his broom. "Do you know the basics? Or Are Brooms totally a different world for you?"he asked her because he knew from a story that Kasey of someone who at first was very bad at flying and one day was a very good Qudditch player.

 

[Lexi Rodriguez]

Andrew mounted his broom and ask if she new the basic, "Um...yah, but i kinda have problems sitting in brooms." Lexi said smiling weakly at Andrew, she's not really comfortable sitting with the broom handle between her legs. "I usually sit side ways."

 

[Andrew Bruke]

"Cool. Its nothing much" he said as he dismounted from his broom. "Look, its basically that when you mount you put your one leg over the broom. You hold on tight and when you sit, you have to make sure you don't slide off the end. If you practise a bit, I am sure it will be fine" he said with a smile. "Now let me see you mount it" he said as he gave Lexi her broom holding it slanting for her to mount.

 

[Lexi Rodriguez]

Andrew hold Lexi's broom wanting her to mount it. She holds the broom handle, Please, no accidents she thought and mounted on her broom. Lexi swing her left leg on the other side, "Am i doing it right?" Lexi asked not quiet sure if it is right.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

"Yeah, totally" he said with a smile as he watched Lexi mount her broom. "Now, if you are racing or playing Qudditch you need to kick off hard from the ground. It can be any leg, whichever you feel gives you more strength. I mean whenever you need good speed, kicking off hard from the ground is important." he explained her now mounting his own broom. "But if you are flying for fun or for some cool air a slow kick would suffice. Another thing is once you kick hold on tight to your broom, that will help you to prevent sliding off" he explained her as he demonstrated a hard kick of the ground and in two seconds his broom took him twenty feet high and then he did a sharp dive and came back to the ground.

"Your broom obeys you if you are nice to it. You just need to bend your broom on whichever side you wish to fly and it will take you to that side. If you need to put a brake on your broom you need to pull the broom handle upwards" he continued and then paused and looked at her once more.

"Now, that is enough to start with. So now kick off the ground and hover a bit, five meters high is enough" he told her because he didnt want any accidents.

 

[Lexi Rodriguez]

Lexi listen as Andrew spoke about kicking and mounting, he even demonstrate it. When he came back, he said that she should be nice on the broom. "Am i a bad person?" She asked frowning, but shake her head slightly, "Never mind."

Now its her turn to fly, Lexi holds tight the broom handle. She kicked not to hard, closing her eyes she can feel the air in her body, then open it and saw that she's a bit higher. Now Lexi wants to go down but she forgot how to, "How this thing work." Lexi said quietly.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

Andrew too kicked from the ground and flew with lexi to the height. They were five metres above the ground. "Lexi, are you okay. Do you want to go higher?"he asked her. "Now when you are not moving sit straight on your broom, you can hold it a bit softly then but if you want to move at high speed you must grip it tighter and bend low on your broom" he explained as he waited to know what Lexi wished to do next.

Lexi heard Andrew spoke, she turned her head to saw he did flew again. Lexi did what Andrew had said, she straighten her body. "I don't what to be higher and i don't want speed." She said enough Andrew to hear it. Why did i even bother Andrew to teach me to fly? She asked her self, Because you want him to be happy. Lexi's mind said.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

"That's fine" Andrew said with an encouraging smile. "We can do a lap around the pitch at slow speed near the ground" he said as he motioned Lexi to start her lap. Andrew would fly beside her as she did her lap to make her feel comfortable.

She heard Andrew spoke, Lexi looked at him and he smiled. "Ok, Laps sounds good..i don't know." Lexi said the last part rather a whisper. She stop to take a slowly deep breath, i can do this she thought, that's the spirither mind said. Lexi grip the broom handle as she did that laps.

Andrew did his lap beside Lexi as she did her's. He did it slowly, something he wasn't used to doing when he flew. Andrew always liked flying with speed, streching his Emerald Streak to its breaking point as he flew. But you have to do stuff for your friends, he thought as he flew and smiled to himself.

After a lap he asked her "Wow, that was good. I'm sure you'll improve in flying in no time" he said to Lexi grinning. "Do you think you'd play Qudditch if you learnt how to fly properly?" he asked her curiously.

 

[Lexi Rodriguez]

After the so called lap, Andrew ask if she's going to play quidditch if she fly properly. "Um...no. That's the craziest thing i will do and i think slytherin won't allow a clumsy and evil girl like me." Lexi exclaimed looking at Andrew.

[Andrew Bruke]

"Well, you are not so clumsy now as when you started and who knows you might be playing really well one day" he said with a wink. "Anyway, I think it's enough for today unless you have more confident to raise your height or the speed" he said hoping she would agree to fly more higher.

 

[Lexi Rodriguez]

"Higher?" She asked but didn't wait for Andrew's answer. Lexi nodded in agreement. "Ok, i'll try more higher." Lexi exclaimed, tightening her grip on her broom.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

"Cool, you are gaining the confident that I wanted to see in you" he said with a geniune smile and motioned his broom to take him higher into the air. He didnt grip it tightly as he was used to much more greater heights. "When you fly, you dont see down, it sometimes makes one scared. You merely enjoy the cool breeze or the warm sun" he told Lexi. "So shall we do another lap?"he asked her.

 

[Lexi Rodriguez]

"Confident, yay!" Lexi said fakely excited. I wish someone jinx my broom and i should die She though to herself. Lexi motioned her broom upward, her heart was thumping faster. She stopped on Andrew's side, "I think so."

 

[Andrew Bruke]

Andrew looked at her, a piercing look and then frowned. "Lexi there is no need to show fake excitment about it" he said firmly as he gripped his broom. "It was not I who choosed to teach you but you who asked me. If you like flying that you will learn it easily" he told her then smiled hoping she wouldn't burst into tears by his words.

"let's do that lap" he said as he bent on his broom and started flying in a circular path hoping Lexi would follow him.

 

[Lexi Rodriguez]

Lexi gasp,"I'm not so faking it." she put her two hand on her hips acting like irritated, but yes, she's irritated on her sitting position. Lexi can't really stand sitting like this, but she didn't took any notice of it. "I know i asked you to teach me... But I didn't know your too bossy." Lexi said the last part rather like a voice of a rat.

"Yah, laps." She said on her lazy tone, Rule number one, if you have a friend like him who got a broken heart. Just smile. And she did what her mind said. SMILE. Andrew started to fly circular and so, Lexi followed him, now noticing the irritation on her sitting position.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

"Well you know now" he said with a frown. What did she think? That he didnt know she didnt like flying? And what should he think if she acted like she loved flying. Of course, he would know she is faking it, he thought as he sped on his broom and completed his lap at full speed and once again was back beside lexi.

"Look, I am sorry" he said as he gripped his broom tighter. "I just want you to understand that you don't have to fly if you don't want to AND you if you fly, you have to do it with all your heart" he said hoping she understood this.

 

[Lexi Rodriguez]

After the stupid laps, Andrew was back on her side. "Ok, i don't want to fly..are you happy now." She said angrily, thanks for being a friend Lexi thought to herself. "I'm going to stop this now and will never ever ride a broom until i die." Lexi said coldly to Andrew. In her irritation on her sitting position, she tired to change into her natural sitting position, side ways.

Lexi tired it slowly while trying it, her hand slipped and make her out of balance. Lucky she was fast and grab the broom handle, now she looks like hanging in the air. She needs help, "Merlin save me!" Lexi shouted.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

"Oh Lexi, please don't take out your anger on flying" Andrew said as Lexi said she would never fly in her life till she died. After that, it all happened in a fraction of second. Andrew saw Lexi move her leg over to the other side and sat in her normal position but before this, she slipped and now she was hanging twenty five feet above the ground.

"Lexi!" Andrew shouted as he sped his broom to where she was handing. He gripped Lexi from her waist with his right hand and with his left hand he said "Wingardium Leviosa" and put the levitating spell on the broom. Andrew's levitating spells were strong and he was sure that the broom would not fall down unless he removed the spell.

"Come on my broom, it can take the two of us" he said still holding Lexi tightly as he put his broom in such a way that Lexi could slide on it and if she did so, she would be sitting infront of Andrew. "Slide your right leg over my broom" he said as he gave out his left hand for Lexi to grab so he could help her onto the broom.

She thought that it was her last day on earth, when she felt someone grab her waist and heard a spell. "Thanks, Andrew." Lexi did what Andrew had said, she slide her right leg on the other side of his broom. Lexi took Andrew's left hand to help her, and now she's in front of Andrew happy now? asked her mind.

It was this stupid flying made all of it, "I will really never ever going to ride a broom." Lexi cursed in the air. She was trembling, trembling of two things, one; she almost fell and two; Andrew's at her back. Lexi sigh. "Ummm..are we not going to fall here?" She asked nervous, thinking it will in a moment of a second.
