- Full Name: Taylor Lee Mercer
- Birth Date: 9th December 2010
- Current Age: 11
- Basic Appearance: Taylor's Hair is dirty blonde, gold when the sun hits it and reaches half way down her back, she used to keep it short and at shoulder length, but soon decided she liked it better longer. Her eyes are usually emerald green, but can turn a dark shade, almost to brown, when feeling strong emotion. She is tall, at 5'8, although she used to be one of the shortest amongst her friends when she was young.
- Parents: Her Mum (Melissa) is a half blood and her Dad (Keith) is pure blood. They were married until Taylor was 6 years of age, it was then that they divorced. They remained friends, which made it easier for Taylor to still maintain a normal life, seeing her parents equally, but living at her Mothers the majority of the time. Her Dad now lives with a pure blooded witch called Susanna. While Taylor's Mum remarried to a halfblood named Chadarnus Pappus, changing her name to that of her new husbands.
- Siblings, if any: Taylor has two younger sisters, one who was born to her Mum and Dad, named Jessica. The other born to Taylor's Mum and Chadarnus, named Faith.
- Pets, if any: A black cat named Merlin who she has had sinse she was 7 years old.
- Area of Residence: Taylor lived in England until her parents broke up and then her Father moved to Australia where he met susanna, so her Mother moved also to not seperate Taylor and Jessica from their Dad.
- Blood status: Halfblood
- Hogwarts House (And why): Gryffindor. Taylor is a strong believer in loyalty to the people she loves and standing strong is very important to her. She is also very optomistic, but also realistic. Although for a Gryffindor, she is also very cunning and knows how to get certain things she wants. She also very rarely loses an argument.
- What would their Patronus be? A tree frog.
- What would their Boggart be? A person vomitting slugs.
- What would their Animagus form be? A cat.
- What memory could they use to create a Patronus? A christmas when i was a young girl playing with my mother and father in my first house when they were still married, i was just beginning to grasp my magic a little and was shooting water at them from my hands, while they used their wands to block me, we were laughing and playing and nothing else mattered.

((Hey Taylor Okay so here are a few character advancement questions. Sorry about the weirdness of some of these questions ))

Warm up question: Who named Taylor and where did her names come from? Was she named after anyone? Any special meaning to her name?

1) Did your character have any issues with having her birthday in December? Such as people giving one present thinking it counts for both? Friends going away and unable to celebrate? ((I'm not sure what if anything she celebrates so if this doesn't apply to her simply state why ))

2) With her hair, when in her life did she make the choice to grow it longer? Was there anything that triggered that in her story? People making fun of her? Becoming interested in boys?

3) I also found her eyes rather intriguing.
a)Is the change in colours something that most people pick up on right away or is it something you realize more when you know her better?
b)Has this ever effected a time in her life because someone then knew she was upset or angry?

4) Wow, Taylor's family seems to have gone through a pretty bumpy ride over the years.
a)How has this affected Taylor and her siblings?
b)You said Taylor sees her parents equally but is there a set of "parents" she feels closer too?
c)How does she feel about her parents remarrying or living with others? Does she consider either Chadarnus or Susanna parents?

A bit of a side question: Did Taylor's mom have any dual reasons for naming her third daughter Faith? What does she have faith for or in during these tough times in her life.

5) Taylor got Merlin a year after the divorce. Who got it for her and was there any extra special meaning for her because of when she got it?

Warm up question: Who named Taylor and where did her names come from? Was she named after anyone? Any special meaning to her name? The name was her mothers choice. Taylor: Came from a muggle TV program her Mum watched while she was pregnant. Lee: Is in fact her Mothers own middle name, passed down to her and which Taylor will most likely give her child. There isnt much special meaning to it, just the basic idea.

Taylor never entirely liked and still doesnt really enjoy her birthday being so close to chistmas, mainly because of how difficult it is to decide what she wants for her birthday, which is already a task, then having to do the same for christmas, only a couple of weeks later. She hasnt had too many problems over-all with the concept though and has learnt to get used to it.

2) With her hair, when in her life did she make the choice to grow it longer? Was there anything that triggered that in her story? People making fun of her? Becoming interested in boys? When Taylor was younger she would always keep her hair short, because it was easier to control, her hair was always frizzy. When she reached about 8 years old, it started to tame and was soon much more controlable, straightened out and got thicker. So it was then that she aloud it to grow long.

3) The eyes
a)Is the change in colours something that most people pick up on right away or is it something you realize more when you know her better? It is something most people will pick up right away, but that doesnt neccessarily mean they will understand what it means right away. Once people get to know her, they will understand that its only when she is upset or angry.
b)Has this ever effected a time in her life because someone then knew she was upset or angry? Its only affected things once, because she can usually control her eyes, so they dont reflect her feelings too much. It was when she liked a boy at her muggle school. She had told her best friend about it, but no one else. She started to really like him and told him and he liked her back. She decided to tell her parents and her Dad's reaction was that she was not aloud to like this muggle boy. He wanted her to marry a wizard. She told the boy how she felt, because they were close and then the boy got angry and didnt want to speak to her again and went out with someone else soon after. Taylor was too upset to hide her eyes.

4) Family
a)How has this affected Taylor and her siblings? It never really affected Taylor and her siblings too much, her parents made it very clean and kept alot of it away from Taylor and Jessica for their sake. Her Mum and Dad are still very close friends and their new relationships are nice people, so Jessica and Taylor dont really mind much. Its still of course painful for ones parents to divorce, but her Mum and Dad made it so it didnt have to be too hard on them.
b)You said Taylor sees her parents equally but is there a set of "parents" she feels closer too? Taylor is probably closer to her Mum, than her Dad, her Dad can be quite strict about his veiws on wizardkind, but he is also a very good Dad and she cant really chose between her parents. Taylor probably prefers time at her Fathers house though, because sometimes the burden of Faith (who is only 4) can get a bit annoying, so her Dads house is more peaceful.
c)How does she feel about her parents remarrying or living with others? Does she consider either Chadarnus or Susanna parents? They come very close to be being parents, but never really will be in Taylor' eyes. It did worry her a little when she was younger, but now that she's older she can understand a bit more about the adult world and what they choose.

A bit of a side question: Did Taylor's mom have any dual reasons for naming her third daughter Faith? What does she have faith for or in during these tough times in her life. Mum had always loved the name Faith, but my Father had never liked it. Taylor probably would have taken up that name, if her Father had of agreed to it. Chadarnus on the other hand, loved the name and it kind of became a duel meaning, with Mums faith being put into her second marriage.

5) Taylor got Merlin a year after the divorce. Who got it for her and was there any extra special meaning for her because of when she got it? Merlin was a gift from her mother, because things were confusing and sad for Taylor at that time, things were very hostile between her parents and she couldnt completely understand why. After she was given Merlin, her parents started to make friends again and soon enough, things were set right.

6) She seems to move around a lot. How has this affected her childhood and school life thus far? Taylor grew up with change and when she was younger her Mum and Dad would move house quite a bit, so she was constanly moving schools. When she first moved to Australia it was difficult for her to make friends in her new school, but after a year or two she had plently and settled in fine. Her parents had promised her they wouldnt be moving until she had finished her Hogwarts education, at least. It was her choice to stay with her cousin though, to make it easier to shop for her school supplies and such.

7) Taylor's supposed patronus is rather unusual. Why do you think it would be a tree frog? Taylor's always wanted to reach great heights. Sticking to her goals is what she firmly believes in, a tree frog is pretty relevent in her beliefs. Also she's been said she looks like one, with her big eyes.

8) Her boggart although disgusting isn't something people generally fear the most. Why is this her darkest fear? When Taylor was younger, she would have nightmares, involving people vomiting, she would wake up shaking and not understand the reason why. She always hated the fact that something stupid scared her, but she could never get rid of it. It stops her from doing alot in her day to day life now, but its something she never has been able to prevent. She was embarrassed of it sinse her first nightmare, and only managed to tell someone 2 years ago. As for the slugs, its sort of an added thing, she hates the slimy devils.

9) Why would Taylor's animagus be a cat? What do you think her special markings would be if she was to become an Animagus. Taylor has always loved cats and the way they move in general. If she were to be an animagus, she would be white, with a black belly. Because although she may seem pure and good on the outside, theres a little bit of a darkside underneath her.
