Pureblood problems
Taylor grew up believing she was a pureblood. It wasn't until 2018 that Taylor's Mum was informed that Evelyn Coyle (Melissa's Mother) cheated on Robert Drape (Evelyn's husband and the man Melissa thought was her Father) with a muggle named Tom Linus. This meant that Melissa wasn't the pureblood she believed, but in fact a half blood, which then meant Taylor and Jessica were mixed bloods. Taylor wasn't bothered by the news. Melissa had never been a pureblood supremacist and was always trying to pass her ideals that everyone is equal onto her children. Keith, however, still held a few pureblood supremacist tendencies that were passed down from his parents. These ideals rubbed off on Jessica, who (although still only young) was outraged that she was no longer pure.
The first boy
Before Scorpius in 2022, Taylor hadn't had much experience with relationships. Only having been in one other that she would count on a trip to France with her Mum for her birthday when she was 10. She met Raffael Fox, a boy three years her senior, who lived down the road from the place in which Taylor was staying. She had met him on a trip to the bakery one morning on her stay and had instantly fallen for his cute appearance. Taylor thought he would never notice her because of the age, but they got talking one morning and turns out Taylor had thought wrong. Her maturity gave her an advantage and they became very close during her stay. The relationship was innocent, nothing but talking, hugging and hand holding, Taylor claiming she was too young for anything serious. Raffael discovered more about Taylor than she had ever shared with anyone else and vice versa. Eventually she was forced to say goodbye when her family left France.
Another uncle
In 2022 Melissa had contact with her Mother after many years of not speaking. A discovery was made, that Michael Drape was not her only brother. In fact Evelyn Drape (Melissa's Mother) had gone back to her muggle lover again, during the time Melissa was born and the time Michael was. Evelyn claimed she had gone on a business meeting to find more about a particular wizarding family for her work. Her story made enough sense for everyone to believe her. A year later she returned, with enough evidence about a family that her story was perfectly backed up. During that year she had got pregnant and gave birth to another child. One that her lover, now discovered as Mr. Tom Linus had wanted to keep. The child, who was named Ethan Linus was born without any magical abilities and was raised by his single Father. When Ethan grew up he got married and had a child named Charlie Linus, who is now Taylor's cousin and attending Hogwarts New Zealand as a Slytherin in his third year.
Reunion leading to disaster
As Taylor started her third year of Hogwarts she ran into Raffael Fox who had transferred from Beauxbatons after his parents went through a nasty divorce and his Father moved to New Zealand. Regardless of their past relationship, they both picked up their steady friendship where it had left off. Neither of them expected a relationship as Raffael had run into Scorpius and exchanged an awkward meeting before he had seen Taylor. From then on, Scorpius had been wary of Raffael, worried that because of his age and history with Taylor that she might want him back. However Scorpius was unaware that Raffael had his sights on someone else at the time. As Taylor and Raffael's friendship grew stronger, Taylor discovered that Raff's parents had abandoned him on the night of the Yule Ball in 2022. It was then, that Taylor's Mum and Dad said that Raffael could stay with them until he finished his schooling and got on his feet. This gave Scorpius further reason to worry. It wasn't until Taylor met her Dad's evil new girlfriend Avory, that things turned really ugly. After Avory threatened Taylor to stay away from her Dad, Taylor ran from Brightstone Village to the Hogwarts Gardens. Raff spotted her while walking and went to comfort her, placing a kiss on her head on what was meant to be a brotherly gesture. Unfortunately Scorpius spotted the pair and came to the wrong conclusions. Not able to explain herself in the state she was in, Taylor and Scorpius separated due to jealously tearing them apart. Raffael and Taylor remained friends, but Taylor and Scorpius were torn apart and Taylor fell into a bad state, taking out her negative emotions on even her friends. [/i]
