I don't know if anyone has already posted something like this but anyway..
I'm thinking about getting some tattoos.. I want the deathly hallows of my lower back, the words 'that is most excellent' over my heart and 'indeed' on my left wrist.. Then I'm also thinking of having a few symbols of people in my life;
Rabbit- Mum
Train- Grandad
Aeroplane- Uncle
Flower- Grandma
Gun- Brother

I just wanted to know.. And I'm not getting one until I'm 18 but.. Has anyone else got a tattoo? Do you regret it?
Anybody want to get a tattoo?

I have two. The first one I kind of wish I would have not gotten simply because I did it on a whim and now I'm kind of stuck with it. It's cute, but I wish I would have waited because it really has no special meaning for me. My second one is a heart with a banner that says survivor which I got on the 2 year anniversary from when I had been diagnosed with cancer. Through the whole time I was sick my mom kept telling me that I had the heart of a survivor and that I was going to beat it and I did. Been cancer free for nearly 3 years now. My advice is just make sure that what you are getting means something special to you because it's going to be permanently marked on your body for the rest of your life.
 
Well I got my first tattoo earlier in July and posted pics in the Pictures forum (here's the post). It's of a lightning bolt on my inner right wrist and so far I do noooot regret it at all. It sounds really nerdy and all, but it symbolizes Harry Potter and all things related to it (meaning HNZ :p ). I know it seems like I'm just getting a tattoo of a fandom that I'm a part of but really it's much more than that for me. I fell in love with Harry Potter when I was 10, so I think to be just as obsessed (no, MORE obsessed) with something 9 years later and be a part of various HP communities, is a long enough time to say I'm "devoted" to it, and also, I joined HNZ at a really tough point in my life and I say this all the time, but it really saved me. ♥ It saved me from depression and I've met so many wonderful people and learned so many things, all thanks to the one thing that brought us together, Harry Potter.

So no, I don't regret it, because I don't like regretting things I do in life, that's just not my thing. Even when I'm old and I start thinking I was dumb for getting it, I know I'll always remember that at some point in my life, it meant a lot to me, so it'll make it that much bearable. :p
 

I'm too young to get one here in Scotland, but I would really like the ancient rune symbol for Joy. On the inner part of my left wrist. It symbolises, for me, the way Harry Potter has had an affect on my life. The fact I love anything ancient, and it can always remind me of HNZ, and anything Harry Potter.
But, before I make the decision and get it done, a friend suggested get it done in Henna on my wrist (as Henna fades) and If I'm not bored of it by the time it fades, then I know that I'd be able to put up with it for the rest of my life.
 
I don't have any tatoo's, as of yet. But i'd like on my wrist, a series of three stars, in a little cluster, about 3, 1 big, one medium and one small. :p But i'm not to sure. Because when I'm old it will look weird D:
