Charlie had decided to skip the ball- there was really no point in going. He was hanging out in the dorms, just relaxing and reading a book. He'd already found a local music college in New York, and his dad had been sending him assignments so that he could catch up on some muggle work and work towards a scholarship. Of course he'd done assignments over break, cramming muggle subjects in when he was home and doing what he could while he was away. But he'd finished his assignments for the day and now he was just hanging out. He was humming to himself, flipping a page. He should go grab some snacks soon, he was starting to feel peckish.
