Valeria's uncle Charlie had the day off from work that day, so he stayed home to help her best friend Victoria out with the Chaos kids. Now that Charlie was there to help Victoria, Valerie didn't feel so bad leaving her to do her own thing for a while. The nineteen year old took her daughter Deja with her because she didn't like being without her, and also because she would feel bad leaving her with Victoria and Charlie who already had Valentina and Capulet to take care of.

So, wearing a strapless, long orange dress Valeria dressed her two-year-old daughter in a brown dress, yellow tights, and purple sparkle shoes. Deja's brunette locks were curled into natural ringlets as Valerie placed a yellow bow on her head. Deja protested and tried taking it off but Valerie won in the end and a pouty Deja cheered up as her mother said they'd be taking a walk today.

Valerie exited the New Zealand home of the Chaos', even though she and her parents had made up at Daphne's funeral, she had grown to like living with her aunt and uncle, well now only uncle, and not to mention the fact that her best friend now worked for them so they lived under the same roof like roommates. Even though her bubbly two year old was excitedly wobbling around in front of her, Valerie still made sure to bring a stroller for when Deja eventually got tired and sleepy. Valerie planned to do a lot of shopping that day because she hadn't been in so long, so there would be a lot of walking.

Soon Valerie and Deja were at Obsidian Harbor, and her daughter was growing more excited with the bustle of people around, but that only made Valerie more cautious to keep her eye on her. Every so often she'd have to grab her daughter by the hand and re-direct her to their destination and sometimes even apologizing for her running into quite a few people. "Deja, calm down," the mother said to her daughter with a laugh as Deja began squealing for no apparent reason.

Leighton held his eyes rigid, opposing the oblivious glance, gazing into nothing as his own thoughts occupied his vision. He had his arms folded, and his leegs stretched out as he leant back onto a wall whilst sitting on a park bench. He wore his usual loose fitted jeans, with a pair of plain white, leather uppers a blue singlet prominently expressing his uniquie muscle tone his distinguishing personality, making it all to obvious that to him, the famous expression "Don't judge a book by it's cover" was all true and well, but it wasn't all true in his case. Leighton was a kind young man, very comitted to his work, and faithful to his loved ones. He will fight for every little bit that should make anyone have a brighter future and existence, including his cousin.

As he sat on the corner of a busy road, he thought of all the time he wasted being a man living a muggle life. As wizards and witches of all kinds, flew by on brooms, and flying vehicles, he now thought that such a wonder couldn't distract him from his grief. He had just recieved the news that his cousin Bella, has fallen ill mentally, once again. He remembered all the times she's hurt something or someone, and find out that she'd done it and feel so much guilt within herself, that every time he was there to visit, she would have cut's and bruises from head to toe, and her parents were to busy to come out because they constantly had to keep her from hurting those around her. Now it was happening again, and she made the choice of making Autumn stay with him until she gets better... Every time it happens it gets worse, is what kept going through Leighton's head, as a memory rolled over his senses like a slythering snake, and made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up...

He had Autumn with him, and she sat in her pram, and thankfully, was distracted with her toys. But she wasn't distracted long enough ofcourse, and started to make disgruntled sounds, snappingLeighton out of his thoughts, and he quickly picked her up and sat her on his lap. Hopefully a tickle would help. He laughed as the baby girl laughed and smiled up at him, squealing a little too loud, and he laughed, stopping so she doesn't get so loud that it disturbs the peace. He chuckled quietly at her, and turned her so she faced him, starting make silly faces at her to entertain the beautiful ball of life.. "What chu doin'. Huh?" He spoke in these little unintellegant babbles, and she laughed at his silliness. Leighton could only smile and be so happy that he had to spend time with his second cousin.

Valeria walked hand in hand with her daughter Deja, struggling to remain upright as her stout daughter pulled her down and forward with an unnatural energy only children seemed to possess, causing her strapless dress to be very difficult to keep up as she almost nearly tripped on it! Valerie let go of her daughter's hands to pull up her own dress to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions and once she was nice and secure, she chased after her daughter who was now squealing away happily towards someone out of Valerie's eye line.

The two-year-old brunette had spotted another little girl sitting on someone's lap and had immediately grown curious of the red-headed baby she'd never seen before, only having been around Cappie and Valentina who were just beginning to walk and play with her. Deja walked right up to the duo and squealed away in gibberish, pointing excitedly to the baby in the man's lap. Few words like 'play' and her own name as she jabbed at her own chest could be heard as Valerie rushed up to her. Immediately Valerie scooped up the child who began whining to be put down and pulling away from her mother. "I'm sorry," Valerie told the man with an embarrassed smile, still struggling to hold back Deja's arms that were flailing away in hopes of reaching the little girl on the man's lap.

Leighton laughed as a little girl squealed her way over to him and Autumn. His little cousin turned around to look at the girl and smiled like she always did when she met new people. The young man laughed once again, and turned Autumn round on his lap so that she was now facing the curious little girl. "Say hulloh!" he cooed softly, and gently pinched Autumn's wrist in his fingers, and waved it up and down for her. He let her little arm go, and she grinned, as she began flapping botharms up and down like a bird, squealing excitedly, as she stared into the older girls eyes, as if mentally comunicating with her. Soon, a lady who seemed to be the young one's mother caught up to the little brunette and apologised. Leighton smirked, and thought nothing of it, because he loved to be in the presence of youth. "No, it's fine. She's so adorable!" He exclaimed and smiled at the curious little girl that so enthusistically, and surprisingly came up to greet them. "She looks just like you." Oh god... Was he flirting..? This girl was probably married, and he would sooner or later be marked as a dip-s*it if she wasn't actually related to the girl, but what are the odds of that?
