Taking a break from thinking

Tyson was sitting on his bed in his dormitory all day, thinking everything over. Since coming to Hogwarts, he had been given alot to think about. First and foremost was Lisa. Then there was Dannii, and also the pressure of fitting and settling in. Deciding to take a break from thinking, he jumped off the bed, and walked swiftly out the door. The common room was packed with Gryffindors, because of the rainy day. Breathing a sigh of relief when he reached the empty seventh floor corridor, Tyson began walk in a more relaxed manner in the direction of staircase that led to the lower levels of the castle. When he reached the second floor, he sighed, and leaned against a stone wall, looking outside at the gray, wet day.

Immy was walking through the many corridors of Hogwarts. The common room was far too busy for her liking and Immy had felt the need to just get out. She still wasn't used to all the people, all the time. As Immy walked she found her self on the 2nd floor. It wasn't a very nice day outside but that didn't bother Immy too much, she just wanted to spend a day inside. As she walked she noticed a boy, she'd met in the common room. Tyson, his name was if she remembered correctly. She walked over to him. Immy leaned on the stone wall beside the boy.

"Common room get too much for you too?" Immy asked looking in the same direction as the boy.

Ciaphas walked along the corridor, scratching idly at his right arm. It was a cold day, so he was wearing his black leather duster, which made him resemble a cowboy straight out of a Western movie. The unlit cigar in his mouth only added to the overall effect. As he reached the second floor, he spied a pair of first years along the corridor.

Ambling towards them amiably, he idly remembered the cigar sticking out of his mouth and stowed it away in his silver cigar case. "Hey there," he said as he reached the two kids. "Common room too much for you?"

Tyson looked around as someone joined him. He recognised the girl as Immy, a fellow Gryffindor. He smiled at her
"Yeah, rainy days are the worst" he said, gesturing outside at the grey weather.
"So, what brings you down here?" he asked.

Tyson straightened up from the wall quickly, as what he assumed to be a proffesor, was walking towards them. He hadn't gotten in trouble at Hogwarts yet, but it was only a matter of time.
He breathed a sigh of relief as the Proffessor asked the same question as Immy
"Um yeah, it's packed" he said, wondering what this Proffesor taught.

Immy smiled at Tyson. She was there for the same reason as him. It was just too busy. She looked up as a professor arrived. She like Tyson straightened up and began to wonder if she or he'd done anything wrong. Immy racked her brain for something but there was nothing. She smiled politely when he asked the same question that she had asked.

"Same reason as you." Immy said to Tyson. She smiled politely to the Professor. "The common are just too full on rainy days like this, sir, it's always better to just get out." Immy then had an idea she turned back to Tyson. "You wanna go outside?" Immy asked. She didn't want to appear rude to the professor but Immy would have thought it a little awkward with the three of them standing there.

Tyson nodded at Immy "Yeah, just too many people" he said. Tyson was very grateful when she asked if he wanted to go outside. She must have sensed, like him, how awkward this was becoming. Ignoring the fact that it was raining steadily outside he suggested "Why don't we go flying?" in an offhand manner.

Immy nodded. It would strange to fly outside in this rain but all the same pretty fun. Immy smiled at Tyson and nodded. She looked to the professor and smiled politely.

"It was nice to talk to you, sir. I do hope I get you in class one day." Immy said politely. She took Tyson's hand and began to walk in the direction of going out into the rain. Thankful he'd thought like her that it would be strange talking to a teacher.

Do you want to start it or Shall I?
