Wyatt had just picked up a few containers of sweets for his work, which seemed illogical, however often times there were children coming to St Mungo's either with their injured parents or injured themselves and he liked to be completely stocked to give them options so they would be as calm as possible. It didn't always work but it was his best and only option for kids over the age of three basically. Anything other than that and he hoped that the adult who brought them to the hospital was able to distract them or a healer-in-training was. Sometimes having some young healers around was helpful instead of difficult. Wyatt was not a natural teacher so often he forgot to teach and just did instead. The man had forgotten a bag so he awkwardly carried them under his arms whilst he walked. They weren't heavy but certainly awkwardly shaped and the unsorted future witches and wizards did look at him with eyes the size of saucers because of the candy. He tried to smile at the parents who now had to explain to their children they couldn't have candy at ten in the morning as they would certainly be asking.
As Wyatt continued on his way he thought of his time at Hogwarts, which he had recently been thinking about frequently following up with a few drinks he had shared with his old Head of House. It was very strange to think about as it certainly was a life time away for him. Even some of his old school friends had children who were not incredibly long away from getting sorted. Being in his 30s was a strange time truly, especially because every single person he knew his age was in a completely different life stage. On paper Wyatt seemed completely irresponsible but Wyatt had never been incredibly easy to read as far as he had thought. Others might disagree. Now the man peered into the Three Broomsticks window to see how busy it was as he could go for a latte.
