Sunday was definitely the most misunderstood day of the week. People tend to dislike it with the prospect of a new, hectic week starting the next day. Sometimes Perseas was feeling the same but he really couldn't when this Sunday morning was the sunniest after days of mundane weather and grey skies. There was no chance he was going to spend his day inside the castle after seeing the sunlit grounds from the dormitory's windows. He actually skipped breakfast and just briefly stopped at the Great Hall to grab a couple of fruits before exiting the double doors of the Entrance Hall.

He closed his eyes and smiled as sweet warmth kissed his cheeks. The courtyard was so peaceful. A few birds were chirping while bathing at the fountain and a nonchalant breeze was sweeping softly the clinging vines, hanging from the wooden arbors. They were providing patches of shade which currently weren't aligned with the row of benches bellow them as the sun hadn't climbed high enough yet. Regardless, the last thing that Perseas was going to seek for was shade. Even thought the courtyard was really inviting, he continued his stroll until he arrived at the lake's shores.

Its surface was like a mirror. It was so serene that the mountains in the horizon were perfectly reflected on the water close to the opposite shores. The only sound disturbing this calmness was coming from the buzzing dragonflies, hovering with curt maneuvers above the reeds. He sat down on the short grass and lied down, using his backpack as a pillow. The once hyperactive teenager wanted to do nothing productive for now. No pranks or excursions were included in today's schedule. He was planning to just lie there for hours and bask until maybe the sun was going to disappear behind the mountain tops. He leaned on his elbows to admire the scenery once again. His pale eyes squinted to block the strong sunlight but it didn't bother him really. In contrary, it was lulling him and slowly surrendered and lied back again. He closed his eyes but didn't fall asleep. Some shuteye time while emptying his mind from troubles. It wasn't long until someone was standing there, casting shadow on him.

It was so unusual for him to be out of the castle so early, let alone carrying a broom with him. But Theseas was determined to break out of his shell and finally start living. Do things he always liked but he never tried to engage in. Finally, he had stopped thinking what others would say if he wasn't so good or what if others are better than him. It didn't matter as far as he was having fun. This was why he had decided to try out for Gryffindor team next year and he had secretly practising on his own. The quidditch pitch on weekends was always crammed with students organizing friendly matches so the fourth year gryffindor preferred the lake or the edge of the forest. He had convinced himself that he hadn't any problem flying in front of others but he was still in a transition point.

Flying above the lake and agitating the still surface was a game he really liked. He was pretending that the trail of splatter caused while he was dashing inches above the water's surface was from a sea monster chasing him. With such a nice weather and the lake's surface smooth like a mirror, the imaginary chase was going to take place once more. But Theseas hadn't expected to see anyone there lying on the shore. It wasn't that he didn't want audience. He had to get used to it if he wanted to play at a quidditch match. He just preferred to be alone. Theseas was planning to move on and put some distance when he recognized his brother lying there.

The twins held a grudge against each other but they were still brothers. No matter how much Perseas was getting in his nerves, Theseas cared about his brother. Perhaps he could postpone his flying practice and instead bond with his twin. It was something they were rarely doing these day. They were arguing over insignificant matters and they usually ended up fighting. Theseas made up his mind and approached him. At least he could just greet him and move on if Perseas wanted to stay alone. "Morning Pers." He said and cast his shadow on his brother. "Enjoying the sunshine?" He asked. Surprisingly he was quite polite and there was no hint of sarcasm in his voice.
