Onyx honestly couldn't tell you what the date was. Between the kids and his college life, he'd been astoundingly busy. On some level, he supposed he knew what was going on- he had a schedule and holiday plans- Christmas was a few days away, after all, but honestly he was so focused on the upcoming New Years concerts and the Christmas plans for the kids. There was the usual family event at the Michaels Mansion- where the entire Michaels clan would congregate at Ruby's home for the holidays and family dinners, and of course dinner with Jamie's family. He was hurrying home- the nanny had needed to leave thirty minutes ago and Onyx was running late. He'd sent a harried message when he'd realized that, and just hoped the nanny would be forgiving. In his rush, he fumbled with opening the front door and dropped his binder. Onyx cursed as it fell, papers scattering. Unthinkingly he dropped to his knees, gathering his mess. "I'm here, I'm here, I'm sorry!" He called out.
