Summoning My Patronus

[Alexander Fields]

Alex felt the snap of the twigs as he stepped into the dark dank abyss of the dark forest, it had been a while since he had been in here last, last time was with Maddiie and she had ran off because she was feeling ill. He had an different idea coming out here tonight, it was pitch black and he wanted to be able to see if he could produce his patronus. He had an idea of which it would be, but he didn't really know if it would be that way once he summoned it. He eventually made it to the center of the forest, and stood there surrounded by the tree's and shrubs, unaware of what was around him, and he knew he was going to get in trouble if a teacher would have seen him out there, but at the moment he didn't really care.

Alex pulled out his wand and began to think the happiest thought he could feel, which was his first kiss with Maddiie, as he was thinking that and reliving the events that had happened all those months ago he said the words" EXPECTO PATRONUM." Which made the ground feel like it was rumbling and then a silvery fog came out of the tip of his wand, which formed into what looked like a snow leopard, which was his favorite animal in the whole world, not only because of there color, but because of there hunting methods. The patronus jumped around and jumped of trees before disappearing after a few moments, maybe it was the sound of footsteps Alex could hear behind him or maybe it was something else.

 

[Zoe-Hope Weasley]

Zoe was getting some fresh air, walking along the borders of the forest, when a snow leopard raced past her just inside the forest. Slightly confused and bewildered, she took out her wand and ran inside the forest, quickly casting, "Hominem Revelio." It absolutely was not allowed to cast spells in the forbidden at night. Why would someone cast a patronus this late at night, unless something was up? She thought to herself as she followed traces of glowing yellow, from the human that was near by. The twigs and leaves cracked and crunched underneath her sneakers as she ran by the trees. There were some little bugs caught in her hair, but she just shook her red mane out as she slowed her running, nearing the human presence. "Who's there?" She called out, powerfully with her loud booming voice.

The voice startled Alex and made him quickly stop the Snow Leopard from running around the forest floor, he looked up to see a girl, by the looks of it she was his age. " Alexander Fields, who are you?" He asked trying not to be rude to the girl, who he probably scared the hell out of with his patronus. His wand was in his pocket by this time, seeing as if it was someone that wanted to attack him, he didn't have to use it, he was more then capable enough to take people on with his hands and feet, seeing all the training he had done in Muay Thai.

 

[Zoe-Hope Weasley]

Zoe narrowed her eyes and lowered her wand, realizing that he was probably no threat; even so she was very fast with her wand, need be. "Zoe-Hope Weasley. Prefect. May I ask what you are doing out here so late at night?" She nearly demanded. She was sure it was past curfew, and either way students were forbidden from the forest. She cast lumos, and brought her wand higher up, whilst taking a few steps forward closer to Alexander, so she could properly see his face. She made sure to keep her wand away from an angle, so she could see his face and he couldn't see hers.

 

[Leah Winters]

Leah had been unable to sleep yet again. She found herself wandering the Forbidden Forest, enjoying the adrenaline rush it gave her. True she was risking her life being in a place this dark especially so late at night, but the words of Alexander Fields came back to her. If she was meant to die, then she was meant to die. In fact, she did not feel like she would die tonight, so she relaxed, yet pointed out her wand just in case.
Her ears perked up as human voices were spoken in the distance. She quietly made her way through the trees catching the last bit of conversation between Alexander Fields and Zoe. She smirked, hearing, Zoe-Hope Weasley. Prefect. May I ask what you are doing out here so late at night?
It amused her that Zoe was still using the prefect line when clearly she was breaking the rules as well. Leah stepped out into the light, showing her face to the two people.
"Oh Zoe. Breaking the rules? How very unprefect like." She looked at Alexander. "Clearly everyone wants to be naughty tonight."

" Looks like they do, How are you Leah." Alex said as he gave her a cheery smile, it was great timing that she had showed up seeing as Alex had nothing to say, he was completely dumbfounded, by the fact that he got caught out. " What brings the both of you out here tonight?" He asked hoping that he wouldn't lose house points for coming out here to practice his patronus.

 

[Zoe-Hope Weasley]

Zoe couldn't help but crack a grin when she heard Leah's voice. She was never good at acting, and even though she liked to feel that she had authority, she knew she didn't have much, if any at all. She turned around to face Leah, and agreed. "Yeah, pretty much. Breaking the rules is so fun." She said, getting a malicious look on her face. She heard an animal out in the distance make a rustling noise, and she jumped. Knowing her, it was probably just her imagination. Zoe was pretty fearless in realistic situations, but her imagination was what scared her the most, oddly enough. "Honestly, I just need some mischief, and pranks. I'm completely restless without a good prank every now and then." She said to Alexander, turning back around to face him. She then took a few steps back so she wouldn't have to turn back and forth between the two people.

 

[Leah Winters]

Leah smirked back at Zoe. She was relieved that she didn't keep the 'I'm a prefect and proud of it' thing going on. She had felt like Zoe and her had a sort of friendship because of their first meeting. "I'm good, Alex." She answered. "And how are you guys doing?" Leah heard the animal voice too, and tensed briefly. Although she didn't sense any danger her nerves still got the better of her when it came to tiny and suspicious noises. "I couldn't sleep, and I decided to wander." She answered. "So what shall we do, then? We have a forest at our feet."

" Im doing alright I suppose, me and Maddiie are talking, but I don't know whether she is going to the Yule ball yet, so we will have to find out soon." Alex said as he looked around, he had heard the noises, it was probably a deer or something, he soon, looked back towards the pair, he didn't really care if it was something else, he didn't care about his own life anyway, the only thing that meant anything to him was Maddiie.

 

[Zoe-Hope Weasley]

Zoe got a sly look on her face, as she looked around suspiciously. "Do you think there are any magical creatures in here?" She asked. Zoe had been in there many, many times before but couldn't recall if there were any or not. She had probably met dozens, but with the memory she had she would probably not even remember going into the forest to begin with. She ventured out further into the forest than they were, and looked back calling out, "You guys coming, or not?" In a playful way, and she started to run, and hid behind a large oak tree, silently waiting for the other two.

Leah listened to Alexander. "That's good. Maddiie would be a fool to lose you." She assured him, before turning back to Zoe and watching her walk away. Instead of calling out, I'm sure there are magical creatures here, it is a magical forest and alerting the forest inhabitants know that they were intruding, she followed Zoe, her wand out in front of her with the lumos charm in effect.

Alex took of after them, he had wished that the ministry would have approved him becoming a animagus seeing as he would be able to run fast er then the rest like it was nothing. He finally caught up to them, still not stopping just keeping up. " So where we going?" Alex didn't have his wand out, he hardly ever did when he could get attacked by something, he would rather use his fists and feet, seeing as they where deadlier then any spell he could use.

 

[Zoe-Hope Weasley]

Zoe stood perfectly still, controlling her breathing so the other two couldn't hear her. She listened for their footsteps, and waited until she could see the tip of Leah's wand. She watched as the glow get clearer and clearer, then when she could actually see the wand and Leah's hand. Zoe then turned sideways, and popped out, with a great, "ROAR!" And her arms were spread out, large like a bears and she attempted to make a scary face, though it seemed to be more funny than scary. She stood frozen like that, wanting to see what their reactions would be at her attempt to scare them.

Leah paused and waited for Alexander to catch up, not wishing to leave him behind. "Where's Zoe?" She wasn't exactly asking Alex, just asking the air it seemed. And suddenly she heard a loud roar. Leah jumped and said in a clear voice, "Everte Statum"

Alex quickly jumped in front of Leah. " Protego." He called, using a sheilding spell, he knew that it Zoe ever since she screamed out, it would have been ridiculous if she would have been hurt over something stupid, but worse thing have happened to people for less.

The next few seconds happened so quickly in Zoe's eyes. One second, she had her hands upright and she was frozen with her funny/scary face. No more than ten seconds later, Alexander was in front of her, facing Leah, and they both had just cast protego to block a spell Leah had just attacked Zoe with. She lowered her wand, turning off the shield charm, and grinned. For some reason, she alwaysf found something funny about even the most dangerous situations she's been in. In this particular situation, she thought it humerous that Leah had gotten scared by her cherade, and her grin widened.
