Calum was dressed in a black hoodie as he made his way down the streets of Obsidian Harbour, his growing hair covering his dark eyes. He was back in New Zealand now after competing in his hometown in Wales and felt happy to be on break. It gave him more chance to see Pia, despite how busy she also was with her own job, and Calum had soon grown to like New Zealand and everything it had to offer. He sat down in a bench in the middle of Obsidian Harbour as small children and their parents hustled about getting school supplies for the year. It reminded Calum of his first trip to Diagon Alley in England when he bought his first wand and he smirked as he overheard one of the boys ask his father when they were going to get theirs. It were times like these that Calum was glad that he didn't have to go to school anymore and deal with the younger students. It was bad enough having to go to school and learn pointless information let alone live in the same vicinity as those children. Calum rather enjoyed just sitting there and watching all of the excited faces of the younger ones who really had no idea what they were in for. He slouched in his seat and kept his hands in his pockets, watching as everyone walked by.

On one of his rare half days, Isaiah had left work promptly, not willing to waste another moment there. As much as he loved his job he was also happy to be able to leave early and have nothing to do with the remainder of his day. He had plans to meet with his brothers later, taking advantage of them no longer being at school to spend some time with them. It was as he wandered down the street that he realised how odd it was to be two years out of school and surrounded by families with young children just heading in. Hogwarts was an entire part of his life that seemed much further ago than it was. Isaiah spotted a familiar looking person sitting on a bench and wandered over, "Calum!" the former head boy greeted warmly, he hadn't seen him in a while, he knew the man was busy from the odd conversation he had with some of the other people he'd graduated with, but it was nice to actually see him. He took a seat next to him on the bench, "You look like you could use a drink," Isaiah commented, "If only I had my hip flask," he joked putted his work bag down at his feet. Isaiah opted to always dress more muggle for his job, a suit. Having been in a uniform for so long, the switch to this hadn't been too hard.

A cheerful greeting of his name caused Calum to revert his gaze upwards. He hadn't seen Isaiah since he was at school and knew he was good friends with Pia. However, he hadn't talked to him much and it seemed as if Isaiah wanted to change that. He sat down next to Calum and Calum did not move over for him. Instead, he nodded his head towards him in greeting and barely even made eye contact as he made a comment about using a drink. The muggle attire that the man wore made Calum roll his eyes ever so slightly. It made him wonder what exactly Isaiah was up to these days but he didn't bare to ask. "So could you." Calum scoffed, not being able to help himself. No wonder the muggle population was bigger than the wizarding population when wizards chose to dress up as them and go on to marry them. It slightly disgusted Calum but he refused to say so. After all, Pia would probably get mad at him.

Isaiah couldn’t help but laugh at Calum and his scoff, the man had hardly changed since they left school. He was the same as ever. It was almost refreshing, so many others had changed for the better mostly, and he didn’t keep in contact with most of them. Though the only one he wished he could get in contact with was Keye, ”Far point,” he replied. It had been odd the first few weeks out of school, there had been so much for him to do upon leaving school and he’d applied for jobs a little everywhere so he could get some money, but he’d thankfully gotten into what he wanted to do with his life, which had been a particularly good thing for him. ”How you been anyway?” he asked Calum, interest clear in his voice, he hoped the boy was doing well, he hoped that life hadn’t been too hard on him. Isaiah had no idea what it took to be to do what he did, but he was interested in it. His year had split up into so many career paths it was fascinating to see, though it was difficult to hear about who was doing what when, he still tried to take an interest in it whenever he could.
