Davalynda Lesley sat back on the bed, per the mediwitches instructions. Dav had been feeling queasy of the past few weeks and it just hadn't been getting any better. She was eating alot more too and just couldn't seem to get enough food. Eventually Alex had suggested she see a Doctor and suggested his current girlfriend, but Davalynda didn't trust muggle doctors. There was so much room for error it wasn't funny. The stupid doctor would probably tell her she was pregnant or something. Sighing, Dav answered all the questions she was asked, including the standard, is there any chance you could be pregnant, to which she had answered a curt no. That was never going to happen. Dav was too focused on her life right now, she wanted to get her music career up and running before she even had the chance to think about children. The mediwitch left the room for a while to do some checks with other healers and so Dav slipped off of the bed in search of her phone. She had gotten one given to her as a graduation present from Drew and it was a pretty handy little thing too. It was having trouble in this place though, due to all the magic, but Dav eventually found somewhere with a bar of reception and proceeded to text Drew her location and that she would be home soon. Home, she called it that, even though she didn't officially live there. She was over there often enough that she might as well have lived there though. Slava frowned on it, and tried her hardest to keep Dav at home, but Demeter always told her to just go for it, so that was pretty much what she did.

The mediwitch returned with another healer and Davalynda was asked to move back to the bed where they proceeded to check her over. She was getting kind of annoyed. She didn't even know how long she had been here, this was ridiculous, how long was this going to take anyway? Did she have some sort of foreign disease that no one had ever heard of? That would the only reason she could see for this taking so long. Gah! Why didn't she just bring Drew with her, would have relieved her boredom in any case. Davalynda was asked again if there was no chance she was pregnant and she nodded vehemently. "Of course not. I already said that didn't I?" The healer seemed to look somewhat sympathetic as she looked at her colleague. "Then you had better call the media, dearie, because i'm afraid you are about four and a half months pregnant." Davalynda blinked and looked down at her completely flat stomach. She burst out laughing and looked around the room "Oh, good one! Alex, is this you! Come out here where I can see you!" She absolutely refused to believe what the woman was saying. It simply wasn't possible... unless... "Sorry, how far along did you say I was?" She asked, looking over at the healer. The woman smiled slightly. "Four and a half months." Davalynda nearly choked. "Sh*t." Drew was going to die.
