Stupid half-veela girls

[Heidi Summers]

Not a very good day for Heidi, she was transfered here in Beauxbatons for no reason and now she's a laughing stock of that half-veela girls that they think they are so pretty. But on the other side of her brain is that they look so damn gorgeous, today was different, Heidi was looked up on the restroom and then was thrown a chocolate fudge shake on her head at lunch time. She just wish she can transfer to a different school, like Hogwarts because she thinks that they look nice especially their champion.

Slowly walking at the grounds and looking intently at the tents of the visitors, she can't help herself go to their tents but she just can't. That's why she just sit on a large rock by the lake where she can see the tents and wait for someone to come out, Heidi wasn't that shy but when it turns out to be a visitor that she didn't knew, she got shy.

 

[Zazuka Getathorn]

Zazuka had actaullty been looking for the girl who had gotten the shake thrown at her head. It had seemed very unfare that happened to someone expesially at the school they went to. She hoped to find her and offer a friendly hand to a person that seemed to be having such a rotten day. When she finally found her she was by the lake she had been shown around by Henry. "Hey there I saw what happened." She said very gently. She didn't want to girl to think that she was going to make fun of her. Zazuka herself had been the victum of some snickering while she was here. Her French wasn't very good and there seemed to be some girls here that seemed to be very full of themselves. She hoped that this was not the case with the girl she was talking to.

Half-tired and half-smelly, she turned away from the tents view and on the lake itself. When someone had spoke behind her, Heidi turned her head a bit to see who it was and was surprised to see the girl that was with the batch of Hogwarts visitors. She turned fully to the girl and smiled, "I know what you think of me now, I'm a loser." the girl had saw what happen and everyone who saw her being bullied they say she's a loser. 'I'm Heidi .. and your from Hogwarts, right?" Heidi introduce herself and didn't let her smile down. Sometimes when she smile like that, Heidi thinks herself really as a loser, so, she let down her smile a little.

 

[Zazuka Getathorn]

Zazuka shook her head. "of course I don't think that. The girls where out of line in my opinion and that was such a waist of a good shake." She said with a sigh. Zazuka loved sweets always had. There wasn't a thing that was made with suger that Zazuka didn't like. That being said there was the slight wonder on how Zazuka kept her figure when half her diet consited of confections. "Zazuka, Zuka to those that know me. Yeah I came with Hogwarts though they could not have picked a bigger batch of straingers." She said with a sigh. Zazuka knew Mike well enough but Link was border line scary once in a while.

"They where always out of the line and they always get away with punishments because of their so called talents." Heidi said making a quote sing with her both hands. She rolled her eyes at the thought that she's always in detention, "Actually, I should be at Hogwarts but my dad back out of transferring me there and decided to just enroll me here instead. He said its just a fly going here than New Zealand." Being with a muggle born parents they want their children to experience muggle things like 'fly by an airplane'. And enrolling her to Hogwarts is a long fly to America, ... she think. Hearing the girl's name made her giggle, "You have a funny name but unique. I like it." Heidi told Zazuka, she hope that this is a start of a friendship between them, Heidi needed it badly.

 

[Zazuka Getathorn]

Zazuka soon her head. "One who used talents like that to belittle others is not worth the talent that they are given." Zazuka said her dreamy voice fading a little. She was talking as well about Seers that used their ablites for personal gain. In Zazuka's opinion a Seer was given the gift so they could help others not make money off of them. She didn't condemn them. She looked back at Heidi and smiled wide. "I was named after a bird really. It's funny because my brothers where named after saints." She said with a sigh. Zazuka sat down on the grass with her legs hidden under the skirt of her uniform.

Heidi smiled at Zazuka and looked at the lake, it was almost sundown and classes are all over. "Is Hogwarts awesome?" She asked Zazuka still looking at the lake, Heidi dream to go at that school. Her parents had studied in the original one but doesn't understand why is she transfered in this rubbish school. "You know, the first day you came here I saw that your sad. Do you missed anybody back at Hogwarts? ... Friends .. or maybe a boyfriend?" Heidi can't really stop talking, she always get excited when she meet new people.

Zazuka's breath caught for a moment then she had to let out a slow rattling breath to keep herself from crying. "I did have a boyfriend back home. But now I don't know if I'm keeping him." She said looking out at the lake. She had to think of something else soon or she was going to brake down again. Zazuka was not an weepy girl normally but what had happened to between herself and Brian made Zazuka want to tuck herself in a corner and just be left there forever.

"Never mind that though. You asked about Hogwarts it's self. The castle always seems to be changing on the inside but you see the outside and it's like seeing home again. The people inside are of all kinds. There have been a few food fights here and there but mostly I love Hogwarts. My best friend is there. Andy, she is the most amasing person. You could say that she is the sun while I am the moon." She said looking up. She wondered how Andy was doing at that moment.

She smiled weakly and said, "Don't worry, this tournament wont last long and you should see each other again." and that's when she smiled fully showing her white teeths. It is really true that its hard to have a boyfriend when your away, Heidi heard once from the other girls that they have boyfriends in Hogwarts and that its hard for a long distance relationship. Zazuka then change the subject on her first question, "Lucky you have a best friend, I wish I have but as I see by now .. I don't have any." Heidi sigh, sun is seeting down and the air is getting cold now. She hugged herself and breath heavily. "When this tournament is over .. are you and your boyfriend are gonna have some vacation? .. I was wondering if you can come to America and have a vacation at my house." She asked looking back at Zazuka.

How to tell Heidi that it was not seeing him again that she was worried about? Zazuka decided that it was probobly best to let her think that this was what was wrong here. "Yes I can't wait for that." She said honestly. She couldn't wait to see Brian again and tell him that she was sorry for hurting him. Maybe after everything was said and done they would heal again as they had done in the past. She just hoped that the damage wasn't too grate to stop that from happening. "Surely there is someone in this school who likes you." She said looking around. Zazuka had come across some stuck up girls but she was sure that there where some in the school that where good at heart.

"Brian is usually taken out of the magical world during the holidays. You see he is muggle born and we don't really know what they would say to not only is he a Wizard but he has a Witch for a girlfriend. We don't see each other much during the holidays so I think if I get permission from my stepmother I could go to your house in America." She said while her eyes where pointing up. She always looked at the sky while running through things in her head. It was as if that helped her think more often than not.

Heidi chuckled a little bit before answering, "If they are like me .. muggle born, weird sometimes and .. muggle born again." shook her head slightly, thinking if there are people like her here at Beauxbatons, if she could just charm her dad to change the plan and just move to New Zealand she will. Hearing Zazuka said that her boyfriend is a muggle born too, her face lift up, she doesn't know any muggle born besides her sister and parents."I wish your stepmom will agree .. and then I can show that I made a friend in this stupid school even your not from here." Heidi sigh in desperation, "Why is life like this? ... it really stinks." She said not more of a question as she looked beyond.

 

[Zazuka Getathorn]

Zazuka watched how Heidi was acting and shook her head. "There is no fault in being a muggle born. For the longest time I thought that I was Muggle Born and it didn't change anything one bit. I believe that everyone comes with the power that they are meant to have." She said with a nod of her head. She wondered what Heidi had been through at Beauxbatons to make her feel so shy about herself. Then she thought that this would have been her had she not made friends with Andy and Brian and later a few others.

Zazuka smiled wide. "Oh she will let me. Considering what her actual daughters do over the holidays I know that I will be let to go to America for a holiday." She said thinking of Kaeley and Trista and the other Paramore girls. They all took care of each other but it often came across Zazuka's mind that they had a bit too much freedom. Then agian they where gained over the years because she didn't see Breanna jetsetting like her older sisters did.

She smiled hoping it is true all her life she is living in hoax, "I just got one more question left ... why did you want to be in this tournament? ... but at least this tournament has something." she chuckled, nothing's more important to the wizarding world than this tournament. They all talk about it but she only knows that one student die in this tournament not because of the task but its because of something menace. And saying his name will make the whole wizarding world gone crazy. "Did your boyfriend tried to enter here as well?"

 

[Zazuka Getathorn]

Zazuka looked up at the clouds puffing thier way across the sky and sighed. "I don't know really. I went through something last year that left me wondering that if that was what my life was really going to be like. Me waiting for someone to come and save me. I didn't want that. Before I came to Hogwarts I pretty much had to stand on my own and I wanted to show that I could still stand on my own." She said looking down now. She may not have the phycicality that she needed to be tougher than she looked but she could try. "Brian would have loved to come but he is too young." She said. By a year Brian was not able to come with her. They had a time in France before but this was different. Everything was different.

Heidi smiled sweetly and stood up from the big rock and sat beside Zazuka, "Don't worry I'm here. Call me crazy but I'm supporting your school for this tournament." She chuckled, how she wants always wants this school to be beaten in a tournament. "Do you want to owl Brian? or do you want to see him? ... I can arrange a portkey for that." Heidi told her seriously, she's noticing that she's very sad when she first step in the grounds of Beauxbatons and she wanted her friend to be happy.

 

[Zazuka Getathorn]

Zazuka shook her head and smiled as if laughing. "Crazy is what people call those they can't understand. If you don't want to be here just wait a year and I'm sure you will be able to be transfered to Hogwarts." She said kindly. Owls where mentoned and Zazuka seemed to darken just the slightest bit. "Owls are useless in telling him what I want to say and the short time that I would be with him is not enough for me to be healed of this home sickness." She said with a sigh. She looked up at the sky. She wanted to cry. She had been doing a lot of that lately but she didn't want to seem like a weepy sort of girl in front of Heidi.
