Charlotte spend most of her time in the library, where she could study. Charlotte wanted to be prepared for anything and she was doing good this second semester of this year. The blonde hoped to defeat her rival Simon. They mostly did a competition who was the best, and Charlotte wanted nothing more than to be the best. The blonde had been up very early this morning and packed her stuff to go to the library. This week that was her schedule. Early breakfast and than off to the library. The end of the year came really close and she wanted nothing more than to succeed. But this time she had asked Simon along. They would study together. Charlotte could than test her knowledge towards him and it was just nice to have Simon with her. Charlotte didn't really spend time with anyone else than him. She actually had not many friends or not at all. The blonde never really understood friendship, and she just saw people as minions or helpers. Charlotte could be really selfish and she put herself on the first place. Now at all, because her brother had led her down. Charlotte would do anything for her brother and family, but Matthew decided that he didn't want to be around his REAL family. That really did a number on Charlotte, and she had been really showing some emotions that she usually tried to hide. She had finally give the situation with Odette some place, and now all her anger and sadness came out of it. Everyone had been lying to her. And she was done with that.

When the blonde entered the library it was more quiet than ever. She found a table in the back where she and Simon could study together. Next to studying she wanted to know some stuff. First it was Alexis who came in the middle of them always. And now she heard about a stupid game, where people kissed eachother. And Simon went?! Was he gonna try and prove something? This was something Charlotte didn't want to be a part of. Only laughing at people for doing it, would give her some pleasure if she was a part of it. Charlotte went sitting and put some books on the table. She opened up transfiguration and started to read. Simon would be joining soon she hoped.

Simon had agreed to meet with Charlotte in the library to do some studying, she was the only person that Simon would actively opt to study with, since he knew she was one of the few people whom he knew when they did get down to studying, they did. Simon and her were always locked in some mundane competition with each other. They had an odd friendship, but certainly one he wouldn’t give up for much. It suited him perfectly, she was always pushing him to be better, she was always bringing out his competitive side without too much being in the way, without judgement. He didn’t mind the way she was either, she was nice enough to him and that was all he needed. It got a little much when she got annoyed at the other girls he’d occasionally hang out with, it was funny to watch with her interact with them, since nine times out ten, Simon preferred Charlotte to them, he preferred Charlotte to most people at Hogwarts. He had been surprised when she hadn’t turned up at the kissing game, that seemed like somewhere charlotte might be, and the teen had almost hoped she’d be there for the occasion to maybe kiss her, but she hadn’t been and he’d kissed others instead. A balance of girls and boys, neither of which he had a problem with. The boy had his books under his arm and rounded the corner and sat down next to Charlotte where she was studying, ”Hey,” he greeted with a little smile as he took his books out and placed them down in front of himself, opening them up to begin studying, ”What are you studying first?” the ravenclaw was going through his books to maybe the study the same as her. The boy had a lot to study, it was almost the exams and he needed to be able to pass all of them, he’d had perfect grades so far - apart from flying - and there was no way that this year, his fourth year that he wouldn’t once again get perfect grades.
