Xiuying had studied as much as she could, whenever she had the free time to do so. She hadn't really had a break from her studies, as all she did was eat, sleep, class and study, and the whole cycle would repeat. Xiuying was really excited to go home though. She was excited to see her siblings, though she was a bit worried about what her parents would think. Her younger siblings finally were getting their chance to go to Hogwarts this upcoming year, and she was so excited to show and tell them everything. Xiuying sat in the library, the library being quite full due to the exam season. Students were everywhere and books were pilled everywhere. The Ravenclaw was lucky enough to come as early as she could to find herself a seat. She had sat at one of the tables in the library. Textbooks and papers sprawled out on the table, not keeping in mind about the mess and space she had taken over

Lucie had admittedly been a little stressed about the upcoming exams. She had been doing okay in most of her subjects, but she wanted to do well this year whilst she could before inevitably taking more elective courses next year and having an even bigger workload. The girl had accidentally slept in that morning and she was rushing to get herself to the library to find herself a quiet place to study. She knew it would be hard at this time with exams just around the corner, but she was still determined to find somewhere so she could use the library's resources and get the best possible outcome.

The Slytherin entered the busy library, scanning the room to try to find a table for her to sit at. She was astounded at the sight of some people not even using the table to study, but more to socialise. She moved along however, figuring the librarians might kick them out soon and free up a table for her. Lucie then saw another table with a single girl sitting at it. She was doing a lot of study and had pieces of parchment and the like sprawled out all over it. It seemed quite selfish for the girl to take up the whole table by herself, and so the Slytherin went over there, dumping her book bag on the girl's stuff on the table and sitting herself down. "You know, this library isn't just yours." Lucie said matter-of-factly. "So I'm going to sit and study here if you don't mind."

Xiuying was in the middle of writing her notes when she heard a loud thump on her table which made her look up from what she was doing. There was a girl around her age and what the girl had said to Xiuying had made her shocked yet slightly embarrassed, her cheeks had turned slightly red. "O-oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take so much space" Xiuying stuttered a little with nervousness lingering in her voice. Xiuying was in her own little study zone, that she hadn't realised that all her study materials were taking so much space. The Ravenclaw quickly cleared some room for the girl, making sure that all her study material was clear for space for some other students, but was all neat and tidy for her as well. "Sorry again. There's some room for you" Xiuying said quietly, before getting back to her studying. 'Although the girl could've been slightly nicer about it', Xiuying thought to herself.

Lucie could see the girl was rather apologetic, and so she just nodded, pleased as she watched her move everything around. Eventually there was space for all of Lucie's notes, and so she began taking them out of her bag. She started with Defence Against The Dark Arts as it was one of her favourites and they didn't really do too much theory work in class. She opened up her textbook and began taking notes out of it, arranging them neatly as she just focused on her own little space that she had at the table. She looked up however as she realised that she forgot to introduce herself to the girl. "By the way, my name is Lucie." she said with a smile, figuring she might as well get friendly with her. After all, she was quick to move her belongings around for her, which Lucie thought was a great start.

Xiuying went back to her studies when she cleared the table for the girl. The Ravenclaw had been currently focusing on History of Magic as she felt that she needed to focus more on that subject. Xiuying nodded and smiled as the girl had told her name, which Xiuying learnt that her name was Lucie. "Nice to meet you. I'm Xiuying" Xiuying says quietly with a small, kind smile, before getting back to her studies. She really needed to focus and work hard on her studies. Xiuying looked back at the girl again, curious about what the girl was currently studying for, if she was actually studying. "What are you working on?" Xiuying asked the girl curiously.

Lucie just nodded as the girl introduced herself as Xiuying and said it was nice to meet her. She continued with her work, deciding to neatly rewrite her notes as she flicked through the textbook and tried her best to understand each thing that was written. It was quite an easy subject, as most of it was practical, and so when the girl spoke up again, it didn't really bother her. "Defence Against The Dark Arts." she responded simply. "Most of it is practical, but it's important to know the theory too."
