Student What Now?

[Mazikeen Roe]

Mazikeen had been unsure of what to do with the rose giving, she had signed up for it because it seemed like a good idea, but now she was a little uncertain about finding all of these people and if they would give her, a first year the time of day. But she was sure to find the first person she needed to here, in a room in the duelling chamber, somewhere that Mazikeen hadn't been able to be in thus far, too young they claimed. She smiled as she spotted another girl, and knew her instantly to be Bethany Zanders. They were in the same house and Mazikeen had made a point of remembering who the prefects were, "Bethany Zanders?" Maze called out standing at the entrance of the room waiting for a response from her before approaching further.

The tournament was due to start soon so Bee had been spending a lot of time in the Dueling Chambers lately in preparation for it. She knew today was Valentine's day and was rather expecting a rose from a certain Ravenclaw but she had gotten caught up in the preparations she hadn't been up to the Great Hall for lunch yet. So she was pleasantly surprised when she heard her name being called and turned to see a small girl with what she could only hope were rose deliveries. She was happy because the girl had known to be ale to come find her here and the thought made Bee grin happily. "Hi there!" she greeted the first year, recognizing her from the beginning of the year, since it was part of her prefect duties after all. "Did I get a rose?" she asked excitedly, impatient to see what it said.

Maze nodded at her with a big smile, "A pink one!" the girl said with a bright expression and gleeful tone, she held out the rose to her, "And it comes with this note," she took out the note and also held that out to the older girl. A warm expression sat on Maze's face and she would be willing to leave if the older girl wanted some privacy to open the letter.

[Bethany Zanders]

Bee smiled when the girl confirmed she had a rose. "Finally!" she said excitedly. It wasn't that she had been waiting a long time that day, she was just very impatient to receive her rose from Ari. She smiled when she saw it was pink and then quickly opened the card, reading the message from the Ravenclaw boy. Bee smiled again and tried to hide her giddiness by smelling the rose to hide her smile. "Ugh, boys," she said to the girl with a playful roll of her eyes, hating that this boy had such a silly effect on her. "Did you get any roses yet?" she asked the younger girl curiously, wondering if she knew what feeling Bee meant by her fake disgust.

The girl was glad that Bethany seemed happy with the rose, she couldn't help but realise that this was why the event was so good. It was just watching the faces of people change when they saw what they got and who it was from. She couldn't understand the statement on boys since she hadn't had such an experience with them that caused such an effect, "Not yet! There's still time," Mazikeen replied she hoped to get at least one rose but very much doubted that she would get one. Not that Maze was really annoyed by that fact.
