Not one book could said to be open without something jumping out at you or the mist of wind gushing in your face. Not one. Except the muggel section in the library, it's the only part Stella felt just a little bit sane. She comes here when her work load piles up and her roommates become a bit too much for her liking. Stella came here every day, every afternoon searching for peace. To her fellow peers, she the strange one looking out from behind a glass. It's normalize when muggelborn come here in awe, loving magic right away. Syrus had no problem with that, but Stella, it hadn't hit her yet. Not even tiny bit fairy dust captivated in such a way. So in a world of magic, she's lost. Stella roams the muggel section, with teen magazine pressed to her chest. Her mom send them to her every month, like she had promised if Stella went back to school. And every month, she got them delivered to her dorm. The only interaction from the outside world, outside her muggel world, Stella would settled until she became of age. For now, she huffed and roam, and finally took her place on her favorite armchair.

The fact that exams were near had Izzy in the library more often than the usual, which was saying quite a bit as during the school year she was here often enough as it was anyway. She had to be sure to revise as much as she could because her grades mattered to her, Hogwarts and magic were things close to her mother which made her want to study everything. She still couldn't accept that her ma was alive and breathing somewhere in New Zealand. She was hoping to find out soon and reconnect with her. The Ravenclaw closed her school book and decided that she'd had enough for today. She loved to read novels after having engraved information into her brain, facts that she needed to remember for the exams. Izzy got up from her very comfortable seat and went to the muggle section of the library, looking for a particular book. She ran her finger along the spine of the books before blinking, she had bumped into someone.

"
Hey watch where you're going!" She rolled her eyes, quickly glancing behind her to see if she had made any noise which might have disturbed other students. This was what Isabelle called her awkward socialising skills. She had never been the best at conversing with others and she hoped this time it would not end in an argument. She found many people irritating so she couldn't help it if others were so rude. At the same time though she was in need of friends from other houses and so far none of her friends were in her year. She glared at the person one more time, huffing, then resumed her search for the book. Finally she found it. Pulling it out and noticing it was the right one, the brunette went back to her seat, only to find there was someone else there. She observed the other girl and recognised her from classes but her name escaped her as well as her house. She hoped she wasn't as annoying as the student she had bumped into. That had been rude of them not to see where they were going. "Excuse me. Mind if I sit here?" Besides that it was my seat in the first place, there's nowhere else to sit. She smiled at her, trying to remember her name. She would not let today get ruined.

Stella heard someone snapping, and another voice came mouthing the other out. She made an effort to ignore her surrounding unless she was the center of attention, which she tried hard not to be. Tearing through the pages of celebrity magazine, all the normal things she consider dear to her was jumping out of these pages. Reading up, thinking of all the things she would do when holidays came around. How'd she meet up with her best friend back in the states and be nowhere in New Zealand. Stella craved normal things, with normal friends. Movies, malls, hanging out and music....what's even music here like?! Waltz and crap coming out of an old record player?! Stella's mind wander only to be interrupted by the same voice from earlier.

"Nah, if you promise not to chew me out like that?!" Stella didn't think twice to say. She bit her lip, looking down on the pages again. Her cheeks turn bright pink, first sentence she said to one in a long time and it's nowhere as friendly sounding?! So much for being a true Hufflepuff. "Ah...sorry...no I don't mind..."

<COLOR color="black"><FONT font="Verdana">Izzy shrugged at the other's girl apology and sat down, opening up the classic muggle novel entitled The Great Gatsby. She had a list back in her common room and this was the first book she'd thought of on that list off the top of her head. She had only read it once before but the French version, she wanted to read it in English however. She was content enough that the library had it at least because she was craving to read a normal, sane book amongst all the magic she had learned in her brain. After a few pages into the story, Izzy glanced at the girl curiously. "
Sorry, almost forgot. I'm Izzy, what's your name?" It wasn't as awkward as other times she'd tried to interact with other people, normally she'd either ask something weird or say something completely unnecessary. She always thought she needed to defend herself for some reason. Not knowing what else to say, the Ravenclaw kept quiet after she'd asked for the girl's name. That was a starting point in her opinion, getting to know the person's name first.
