Juniper was back at school and she'd meant to ask her mama about what it meant to be a girlfriend while she'd been home, but everytime she'd tried to her throat had closed up and eyes widened. The situations had always ended in her mama asking gently what was wrong and Juniper awkwardly avoiding telling her that she was someone's girlfriend but had no idea what it meant! It was embarrassing and what was more embarrassing was that now she wanted to avoid Zeke too because what if she did something a good girlfriend wouldn't do and what not.

Juniper had been stressing over it for the better half of the first week back at school, she'd almost asked her roommates but chickened out at the last second. Walking out of the Common Room the third year had every means to just go outside into the gardens for a much needed breath of fresh air. As she stepped out however she noted a familiar presence along the walls. Walking straight to the Slytherin she'd decided was now her friend Juni stopped next to Turlough. "Hey, we are friends right? Can I ask you a serious question?" She blurted out in her haste, this was better than someone she shared her dorm with because if things went downhill or she was too embarrassed she could always just hide it out and never see the boy again.... Right?

Turlough had been back in school for nearly two weeks and it was even more hectic than usual- not only was Tanith stressing out in sixth year, now Tate was in first and he and Tiernan were now in their third year. He loved Tate to death but the kid was draining.

Turlough was just on his way up to check on Tanith, wanting to drop off some snacks he'd grabbed for her. He hadn't so much as stepped two feet into the hallway to look for his sister when out of nowhere a girl was in his face. He blinked, taking a step back. "Friends is a strong word." He scoffed, shoving his hands into his pockets. He rolled his eyes at her question. "Didn't you just?" He countered, moving to walk past here. "Hi, Turlough, how are you Turlough? Nice to see you, Turlough," He mocked her a little, pitching his voice several octaves higher to copy her.

Juniper was frowning already but the way Turlough insinuated that they weren't exactly friends only deepened her frown. Right according to the diagram Freddie had drawn for her Turlough probably didn't fill all those slots for friends... Matter of fact he probably only thought of her as annoying. Shaking her head Juni refocused on the Slytherin, frowning even deeper. She realized her mistake, she'd forgotten to ask how he was. That was what friends did when they first saw each other after a break, right? They asked how the other was. Juniper had been all too worried about her own stress to do that. She was a terrible friend. "Oh no, I'm sorry. How are you?" Juni began apologetically and took hold of Turloughs arm as if to cling onto the friendship she had imagined between them physically. "Merlin that was rude of me, of course it's nice to see you, I was just too wrapped up in my own worry I suppose?" Juni offered her apology meekly. "Please forgive me?" She asked, giving the boy a small smile as she looked up at him awkwardly.
