Sutton had not put as much time into her studies as she should have been. Instead she had been reading constantly, just not the textbooks that would help her succeed in the upcoming exams. The young Ravenclaw wanted to get the best grades possible, the stereotype of being in Ravenclaw adding a little pressure to the mix. With all this in mind, plus her grandmother's voice who kept reminding her of the need to hold up the family tradition, Sutton made her way to the library. The thoughts rolling in her mind as she did not even understand what family tradition her grandmother was talking about. Mimi was an odd one that Sutton rarely agreed with, the cost of being old maybe. But Sutton knew she was right in at least one aspect, she had to do well on her exams.

The young Ravenclaw noticed the library was quite busy. Everyone must be having the same idea. It was almost as if the air was sucked out of the room with all the students pouring over books and frantically taking notes. Luckily, Sutton noticed an empty table with four seats in the corner of the library. She immediately went to go claim it, placing her books on the table to show that it was occupied. The young blonde sat down in one of the seats, staring at the textbooks in front of her. She loved books, adored them, spent most her time reading them. But these were not the books full of fantasy and adventure, however unlike her old textbooks they were filled with magic. It was simply not enough to keep the young girl's attention.

Sutton decided to start with the topic she was so far finding the most interesting, astronomy. At least it has beautiful pictures She thought as she opened up the textbook to a picture of the night star depicting the North Star. Sutton reached into her bag and grabbed her quill, parchment, and ink. Spreading out on the table, probably more than she should for such a crowded library, she began to take some notes from the textbook. None of the words seemed to show the beauty the North Star was, or the way it shone in the picture or more importantly in the night sky. Her mind began to wandered as she thought about how she loved to gaze up at the stars, wishing she was on a pirate ship using the stars as her guide instead of studying them in a book. The young girl stared blankly at the page in front of her, once again lost in her own world of imagination.
