Bee had put off her costume for the last minute again as she had once before and it didn't help that she didn't always have money to buy a new costume, but she remembered her greatest asset had been her hair. It was always wild and unruly and as long as she did something with her hair she could pull off a costume. The first time she had painted her hair all silver and worn all black and pulled it off as X-Men's "Storm", a nickname which Desislav still called her to this day. So now she had found a temporary charm in which her wild locks could be turned into live snakes. They were harmless and she could not actually turn anyone into stone, but she liked the evil nature of her costume anyway. Though she was slightly regretting her decision now that she was at the apple bobbing station because water would wash away the charm and she didn't want that yet as her night was just getting started.

Wyatt, dressed as a bank robber, was having a pretty fun evening. The boy had danced, eaten more candy than was altogether healthy and had gone to the haunted house as well but there was still so much to do so he went to the next event. Apple Bobbing. Wyatt had never been very good at it and he was worried that the teardrop 'tattoo' that had been drawn on his cheek would wash off so he hesitantly stood to the side, hmm-ing and haw-ing as he weighed the benefits. He wasn't sure there were that many because on a night like Halloween the only good apples were candied apples ad he suspected that a group of people that enjoyed pumpkin juice would be horrible enough to not supply more sweets. The American boy was not having that. He turned to a girl he knew to be a house mate and asked without properly looking at her, "You gonna do this?" At least that was until in the corner of his eyes he saw something move. Her hair. The boy looked at her and saw snakes in her hair. What sort of demon witch wanted snakes in her hair?! Wyatt jumped back and made a noise that didn't sound entirely human from his fear. "What the hell?!" he said as he watched the snakes move. He suddenly felt sick to his stomach and it wasn't because of the candy.

Bee was watching the latest contestants participate in the apple bobbing when she heard someone stop beside her to watch too and ask if she was going to do it. She had just opened her mouth to reply when the boy's strangled noise startled her and she jumped back too. "Omg what?!" she responded. "What was that for?" she said angrily at him having spooked her but she turned around to see if something scary had popped up behind her but saw nothing unusual behind her. "What is it?" she asked again.

When the girl seemed surprised at his reaction Wyatt wasn't sure if she knew that there were snakes in her hair. The boy swallowed, trying to muster the courage but he raised a nervous finger pointing to one of the snakes which was hissing now. "Snakes.... In your hair," he said, stepping back once more because he was not going to handle that. If Stella ever got a snake to match her house he'd disown her completely.

Bee wondered what could have scared the boy and waited for him to gather himself and answer, but then she said, "Oh!" as if relieved. She laughed and said, "It's just a costume, duh! Haven't you ever heard of Medusa?" She reached up for a snake and twirled it around her finger as it hissed but didn't snap. "These are just a charm though!" she tried to reassure him so he wouldn't be so scared but she found his reaction funny so she took a step toward him saying, "Oooh!" tauntingly, wiggling her fingers toward him.

Wyatt didn't like snakes and he didn't like people who liked snakes. As far as he was concerned they were one in the same. Weird snake people could not be trusted and the boy was not appreciating the girl making light of the situation. "Medusa schmusa that's weird!" he said in a voice much higher than his normal one due to panic. That was nothing compared to when the girl started to walk towards him. Quickly he stepped back, not paying attention to anything behind him just eager to get away from the horrible girl. He reached for his wand but all he found was a fake gun and didn't notice it until it was pointed at her at which point he wavered briefly only to realize it was still his only line of defence. He'd have to throw it at her rather than shoot it of course. Still, he'd do it if she didn't stop.

Bee couldn't help but cackle with laughter, throwing her head back as she did so and causing the snakes to wriggle around more. She laughed as she said, "You're going to fall in the tub of water if you don't watch yourself." Then the boy pointed his toy gun at her and she laughed again. "Is that a water gun?" she wondered, half intrigued, "because if you shoot me with water, I will have to retaliate and you don't want that," she warned with a playful look in her eye.

Wyatt scowled as the girl laughed. She was remarkably unfunny especially as the snakes move around more. Still he did appreciate her warning and he glanced behind him quickly so that he wouldn't fall. As she asked if it was a water gun Wyatt nodded his head and arched his brow at her. "Are you going to throw a snake at me?" he asked - trying to sound confident that she wouldn't' but he ended up sounding just as scared as he was. Snakes were scary - he couldn't help it.

Bee snickered at the idea of throwing a snake at the boy just to scare him more because his voice still sounded shaky even if he had his own defense mechanism. Unfortunately water washed away her snakes so she didn't want to reveal that just yet. "Sadly I can't, these snakes are attached to my head," she said, tugging on one of the snakes tightly as proof. The charm had just transformed her locks of hair into the snakes so she was afraid cutting off one of the snakes while under its charm would cut off her hair in real life. "So really you've got nothing to worry about," she said to the boy with a casual shrug, but she was still amused by his fear anyway.
