Starting University

Hello everyone,

As you might know or not know, I am in India now. I was on holiday from April and now that time has come to an end. I was in Gujrat first but now my college is starting on July 20th and its located in a state called Karnataka which is in South India.

My mom and I are going to start our train journey of 36hours today and will first go to Kerala where my mom's aunt stays. Then after three days we will do another six hour trip to go to Uni. Its called Manipal University and I am going to study Bachelor of Pharmacy.

So with all that happening I will be absent from HNZ for a while until I get settled. And even then with new place, hostel, no friends and studying it will take a while until I get used to everything and can manage all that and RP. But I will be popping in for a while and answer RPs sometimes. I am taking my laptop with me so hopefully there will be internet connection on the way or something.

Plus I am really excited and nervous because its the first time I will be away from my parents and I haven't touched my books in four months and I feel I have forgotten all my chemistry. I hope all goes well and I make new friends.

I will be very less almost inactive with Kyle for a while. I couldn't even do his exams and lessons because of all the traveling withing Gujrat. I am sorry for all the people with who I have planned RPs for Kyle. I promise in a month or two I will be using him again. And as Meera has become my new favorite I will do her RPs and maybe her lessons.

wow kushi. that sounds like an adventure and a half.
enjoy the journey. and good luck at uni, a bachelor of pharmacy, that is what i am studying too. as far as i am finding it it is hard but enjoyable. I hope that you too find it enjoyable. If you have any questions. please don't hesitate in contacting me.

I saw 36 hour train journey and my stomach turned. Good luck staying sane with that and best of luck with uni, starting uni is a very exciting time and it can take a while to learn to balance everything but once you do it will be the best time of your life, good luck and enjoy.

Luckily the 36 hour journey was very nice and comfortable. Plus the view from the train was simply superb with rivers, dams, tunnels and everything was green with vegetation.

Its been pretty hectic at the Uni since friday with the registration and all and classes have started too and I am all tied up.Hopefully I will get some time this weekend to do a few replies.

Hi everyone!!
Oo my life's been so hectic where do I even begin?
So I am settled into my hostel. The first two weeks were terrible. I had this group of friends who were always into partying and I am not really fond of that as I don't even drink or anything. Then they realized that and ignored me etc. My roomie was bad aswell

But then one day when I was alone I decided to go up to new people and talk to them. Now I have made a whole new bunch of friends that I enjoy being with and after having a good fight with my roommate we have finally started getting along.

I got selected in the editorial council of my college and we have to publish a yearbook and get funds for that articles etc. Today was a function at our college introducing the new student council and celebrating an early teachers day plus realizing last year's yearbook. It went great. I was part of a skit in which I played a reporter and had to say all my lines in Hindi. Even though my college is all english but this was fun. I luckily know how to speak hindi because of all the movies and Tv shows but I cant read or write it. So the drama went well.

I have my first sessional exams coming up in a month and I have discovered that there are many things that students are taught in 12th grade according to Indian syllabus but I have not learnt or even heard about them. So I have to catch up on all that plus recall my 12th stuff that I did not study from four months and get good grades in class because I am always actively participating in class and answering questions and stuff so people already consider me a topper or something. Now I gotta prove them right.

I really miss you all so much and I miss RPing. I think my typing skill has decreased since I started being absent from the site. I don't have any holidays till Dec. And my hectic schedule allows me so little time that I spend in socializing with new people or getting involved in extra circular activities because its easy to do it in first year and by second year if you didn't participate no one would be knowing who you are and etc and those who did participate will be recognized...if you know what I mean. I hope I can RP some more during December break.

Sorry about this. All people who had Plots with Meera or Kyle. Love you guys will try to stay in touch and upload some photos! Buh bye

Thanks so much for the update! You sound incredibly busy, but it also sounds as if you are having some interesting experiences. I hope that you continue to enjoy yourself. Can't wait to see you back on and I'm especially looking forward to those photos!
