Boredom was a thing in life that was never really fancied by Nevaeh Haze. It was something, in fact, despised by her. While her best friend Riley had seemed to have settled down at Hogwarts, and was continually out with her boy-best-friend, Nevaeh was stuck inside, forced by Riley and Riley's mom to study and catch up on all the work she had been missing out on. But this evening was a different case; Riley was out, Professor Sparkles was no where to be seen and Nevaeh was sick of being inside. Tying her curly brunette hair into a pony-tail, Nevaeh sneaked out the Gryffindor common room, and briskly made her way down to the Forbidden Forest. Of course she would have preferred to have explored the Forbidden Forest with a friend, sometimes a girl just has to do what she wants do alone.
When she reached the edge of the forest, she looked up at the trees around her. Jumping a little bit when she heard some rustling in the bushes, Nevaeh began to have second thoughts. She took out her wand, held it in front of her and uttered a soft "Lumos." She was beginning to think that perhaps she should come back another time, when she had someone with her - it ought to be more fun that way. She quickly backed away, still holding her wand lit in front of her, when she felt her foot connect with a root sticking out of the ground. Letting out a cry, she fell to the ground, landing on her bottom, not realizing she had released her wand, and the light rolled away from her. Nevaeh began to laugh as she tried to calm her heart down, laying on the ground and closing her eyes.

Elijah Tine played in many places. He had a tendency to find the oddest of places and just and play. He was pretty much the type to forget where he was when playing and be surprised when he realised where he was as well, curious as to how he had gotten there. It was all the forgetful mind of a hufflepuff boy. So lost in the music he played that nothing else seemed to even interfere. He didn't care if others thought him weird. He didn't care if they thought he was stupid. If it came down to it, he'd chose to save his guitar over a person. It seemed selfish and it was, but Elijah hadn't really ever gotten a good amount of friends. He'd never really been in one place too long to make friends, not to mention that when he did play, or when he was writing a song, he was not even on the same planet. He would write on anything and everything. He forgot that a world even exist. He wasn't a boring person, he just found fun in playing his guitar and not much else. Elijah on this day had walked all the way to the forbidden forest to play his guitar. He had wanted the complete solitude of a dark and overwhelming place. The forest was just that, it was dark, and it's size and ever it held was pretty overwhelming. He was sat in the low branch of a tree. It was pretty thick and sturdy. He was playing away, a small part of a song he was working on. The guitar in his hands was the first he'd ever gotten, and he had written all over it. Different song lyrics, reminders. Everything. People had note books, Elijah Tine had his guitar. He never wrote in a pen that would scratch the guitar, but there was unwashable writing on the guitar. He was playing away, unaware of an approaching person. He then heard a cry and stopped playing. While also getting the fright of his life and almost dropping the guitar. He took a moment to be sure his guitar was okay. He then, decided to find out what was wrong. Some student had died in the forest once. He hoped that this hadn't happened. So, it was right to check it out. He got down from the tree and after putting his guitar on his back, walked to where there was now laughter. He noticed a light, and walked over to it. He picked up a wand and held it out in front of him as he went to the girl who was laughing. "I found your wand" Elijah blurted, holding the wand out for the girl. "Are you alright?" He asked, hoping to god that she said yes. He was very bad with blood and injury it just made him want to collapse. And that wasn't a very good thing if it happened. He didn't want to hurt himself and he didn't want to hurt his guitar "I mean you are laughing so I think you're probably okay, but you have to check."

Nevaeh sat up quickly when she heard a voice from above her, her heart jumping yet again. She saw that it was a boy around her age, holding her wand out to her. Nevaeh whacked her hand to her head, still chuckling, embarrassed that someone was there to witness her accident. She stood up slowly, wiping her bottom to remove any pieces of twigs that had been caught on her jeans. "Yeah, I'm alright." She replied, reaching out and grabbing her wand. She whispered "Nox" and placed her wand back into her boot.
"Thanks for checking on me!" Nevaeh said, smiling sweetly at the boy. "There was a root sticking out of the ground, and I didn't see it, it was huge, and just popped out of nowhere! So I fell over it. I'm Nevaeh by the way." She explained holding out her hand while quickly checking the boy out. She smiled when she saw the guitar on his back. "Oh hey, you play guitar! You should totally play me a song!" She exclaimed.

There was a few seconds in Elijah's brain, where he thought that the girl would snap at him for asking her how she was. He didn't know which house she was from, and he had a small fear of Slytherins. But, when he saw her stand up, he smiled at her more. He really was pleased that it wasn't someone who would be annoyed with him. Obviously he couldn't really tell if the girl might just be a nice slytherin. There was no real way of knowing. But, in Eli's experience he'd found that Slytherins were mean. And most other houses weren't that mean. He handed her, her wand and then wiped his hands against his jeans. He was sure that no matter what happened he'd at least helped someone during the day. He wanted to leave now, he knew that there was the potiential to make a new friend, but, Elijah had been playing his guitar and his mind was still on that. It hadn't shifted to the girl in front of him. A girl who was very pretty. He looked up at the girl and blushed slightly. He wasn't quite used to talking to girls, not yet. Elijah was really a shy Hufflepuff boy. He found it hard to always be confident around others. The guitar helped him greatly, but, he was feeling a little more nervous around this girl. He took a deep breath, just as she thanked him. "No problem" Elijah said while giving a small nod. He didn't think it was that silly that she'd tripped over a root. The forest was the place where almost everything was in some parts dangerous. "It's nice to meet you Nevaeh." Elijah smiled at her. The dark green eyes of the boy, finally giving the girl a quick glance over. "I'm Elijah" Elijah took her hand and shook it a little. A smile grew on his face when she noticed the guitar. She asked him to play something. And he actually wanted to. But, he didn't know what to play. So, while taking a seat and taking the guitar and sitting it on his lap he kept his eyes on the girl. "I play better sitting down. I can play standing up, but it's more comfortable." Elijah explained. "What do would you like me to play?" Elijah asked, quickly checking the guitar was in tune.
