Boredom was a thing in life that was never really fancied by Nevaeh Haze. It was something, in fact, despised by her. While her best friend Riley had seemed to have settled down at Hogwarts, and was continually out with her boy-best-friend, Nevaeh was stuck inside, forced by Riley and Riley's mom to study and catch up on all the work she had been missing out on. But this evening was a different case; Riley was out, Professor Sparkles was no where to be seen and Nevaeh was sick of being inside. Tying her curly brunette hair into a pony-tail, Nevaeh sneaked out the Gryffindor common room, and briskly made her way down to the Forbidden Forest. Of course she would have preferred to have explored the Forbidden Forest with a friend, sometimes a girl just has to do what she wants do alone.
When she reached the edge of the forest, she looked up at the trees around her. Jumping a little bit when she heard some rustling in the bushes, Nevaeh began to have second thoughts. She took out her wand, held it in front of her and uttered a soft "Lumos." She was beginning to think that perhaps she should come back another time, when she had someone with her - it ought to be more fun that way. She quickly backed away, still holding her wand lit in front of her, when she felt her foot connect with a root sticking out of the ground. Letting out a cry, she fell to the ground, landing on her bottom, not realizing she had released her wand, and the light rolled away from her. Nevaeh began to laugh as she tried to calm her heart down, laying on the ground and closing her eyes.
