Shiloh looked up at the sky as she lay across a bench. She had made a few friends in the past few days and she wanted to make more. She sighed and sat up. She was sitting on a bench on the park alone, in New Zealand. She didn't have any-where to go right now and she didn't know what she would do. She sighed and lay back down. "This is crazy" She said to herself. She wasn't sure why, but today she just seemed so down. She sighed and looked up at the sky. She had yet to get over the fact that she was a witch. She just couldn't believe it. Though she did miss Creta she was happy that she was able to attend such an amazing school. Since she had gotten here, she had yet to hear anything but good things about the school. Hogwarts this, Hogwarts that. It was almost like a dream.

She looked up suddenly as she heard some-one approaching.

xxSorry its kind of Crap. I'm not very good hehexx

Sam walked slowly around the grass. Dervish had insisted on looking after Bella and Rosie so she could have a break and go for a walk. Personally, she would have preferred to sit down with Derv and talk while the babies played on the floor. At least her oldest son was being kind which meant he was in a good mood. When he was in a bad mood, all he did was flip out and hurt Cloe. It was hard for the poor girl to cope with but she seemed to manage it and she never mentioned a word about wanting to leave Dervish.
Sam saw a girl lead across a bench. She looked pretty happy and Sam decided-with no reasoning behind it-that she wanted to talk to the girl. She walked over to her, thinking she couldn't be more than ten or eleven years old. "Hi, do you mind if I sit here??" Sam had always been a very polite woman. She had been brought up like it and she knew how to keep her image spotless-even if she sometimes failed.

"You will make sure to always write me wont you Shiloh?" Creta asked as she stood on the steps of their house. Shiloh nodded and hugged her sister close to her. "Ofcourse I will Creta, you are my sister, I love you with all my heart" She said as she smiled at her twin. Creta laughed softly and wiped some tears from her eyes. "Have fun sweetie, won't you?" Shiloh's mum asked as she pushed her youngest daughter into the house. Shiloh nodded. "Of course mum, and I'll stay out of trouble" She said hugging the older woman. "I love you, I'll miss you, My sweet Shiloh".

Shiloh was pulled from her memory as some spoke to her. She sat up and noticed an older woman had spoken. Seeing as Shiloh was respectful, she nodded. "Ofcourse Miss, please make yourself comfortable" She said smiling at her lightly. The woman was really pretty and she seemed nice. Shiloh wondered why she had come to sit with her. She smiled. "My name is Sarah but every-one calls me Shiloh, I'm pleased to meet you...." She said politely holding out her hand to the woman.

Sam smiled at the young girl and sat next to her. "Thank you." She listened as the girl spoke. At least she had nice manners. "I'm Samaire but everyone calls me Sam." She shook Shiloh's hand. "Well, that and mum." She shrugged slightly as she thought about her kids. Woody and Ana were the only ones she wasn't pleased with. Ana had made a destraction for her while she grabbed all her clothes and moved out and Woody had brought home two different girls, both of which had insulted Sam in her own home. "So, how old are you??" She didn't want to seem nosey but she wanted to seem kind.

Shiloh smiled at the woman. "Samaire is a nice name" She said as she looked at the woman. She didn't look like she would hurt Shiloh, but she was cautious none-the-less. Then she smiled as she mentioned that she was a mother. Shiloh believed her. She trusted the woman. "I'm 10, I turn 11 in July" She said smiling sweetly. She shrugged. She wasn't even sure why she had come here. "So, what brings you here Miss Sam?" She asked kindly refering to her as Miss to be respectful. She had been taught that refering to elders with their name was rude unless asked to.

Sam laughed slightly. "Please, call me Sam. Miss Sam makes me feel old." Sam didn't like the feeling of being old. She guessed that was one reason why she kept having children. It made her feel like she was still young enough to keep a family going. "I've got a daughter and son about your age. They're in their second year at Hogwarts. You might get along with Angelica. She's ready to accept almost anyone." Sma liked this about Angelica. It made it so she was more like Sam. Sam accepted nearly anyone into her family, even before she properly knew them. "I'm just here for a walk. My oldest son has offered to look after my babies and forced me to go out for some fresh air." She shrugged slightly at the thought. She was just glad he was making her do something that was good for her body.

Shiloh smiled up at the older woman. "Ok then, I will" She said smiling as she looked back up at the sky. She imagined that Creta was too, and that they were looking at the stars together. When she did this is was like they werent soo far apart. "I'd love to meet Angelica" She said as she looked back at Sam. She was interested in making as many friends as she could. Not only to be known, but to make up for the loss of her sister. They'd never be a replacement, but more like to take her mind off of things. "You live around here?" She asked, realising that she may not have walked very far at all.

Sam nodded at the question. "Yes. Just along the road. It's never far for me to walk here. Although, it felt like it when I was pregnant. When you have that much extra weight, everything suddenly seem ten times more than it actually is." Sam may have hated pregnancy but it was worth it for the prize that she got afterwards. "What about you?? Do you live with your parents??" Sam wondered whether this girl had a big family like herself or whether her parents were the kind to stop.

Shiloh listened as Sam mentioned that she lived nearby, but shook her head when asked if she lived with her parents. "Sadly no, unfortunately, they were unable to come here with me, I'm all on my own, I am staying at a little motel not far from here" She explained shrugging. It wasn't so much of a motel as a smell house type thing where they have like one bed in a room and thats it nothing else. But she had spent a few days there and she didnt mind it. In alot of ways it reminded her of the leaky cauldren.

Sam's eyes widened. Nick had moved away from home to have a break and live independantly but she had made sure he had people to stay with. She hated the thought of him being by himself and living alone. "You mean you're all by yourself?? With no one else??" Sam couldn't get her head around it. The poor girl. "Why don't you live at my house. Now that everyone's moved out, I have a load of spare rooms. I could get one redecorated, we could buy a new bed and furniture. My kids would love having someone else there. I would love having someone else there." Sam hoped Shiloh would say yes. Having someone else in the house would just make it feel that bit more like home.

Shiloh shook her head in disbelief. Was she actually asking Shiloh to stay with her. "Are you serious? Oh my god, that would be..... Amazing" She said as she jumped up. She didn't know much about Sam, but she was so kind and sweet. She wouldn't try to hurt Shiloh, she knew that. She smiled. "That would be amazing. I can't believe you, you are so kind" She said happily. She hated it at the motel . It was always really noisy and hard to concentrate. She looked at Sam and calmed dwon. "Ok, I'm calm. I would love to stay with you" She said hugging the older woman.

Sam was happy with Shiloh's response. At least she was going to have another person in the house. It would make it that much louder. Sam always used to get annoyed with how noisy her kids were but with the silence she had now, she started remembering something her mum used to tell her all the time; You don't realise how much you love something until it's gone. Sam had to agree with this quote and she had found it out the hard way. She was surprised when Shiloh hugged her but she smiled and put her arms around the girl. "Of course, you will have to talk to your parents about it. I don't want them having a go at me. Get the ok from them and you are welcome to move in." Sam was never good at having arguments. She had always left the arguing side of things to her husband but she couldn't do that now that he was dead.

Shiloh nodded when Sam said she would have to call her parents for permission. She pulled out her phone and started walking away from Sam. "I'll just be a minute, I'm going to make a long distance call to my mum" She said as she sat back on the bench. This call was going to kill her credit, but she didn't care. She dialled the mobile operator. They could conect you to anyone, anywhere at anytime. She sighed and waited for the connection. "Hi, mum?"

After a few minutes of talking and convincing on Shiloh's part. Her mother had finally agreed. "Thanks mum, I love you forever" She said and hung up. She ran back to Sam and smiled. "She said yes!" She excalimed.

Sam was confused with mobile phones. She had never had one and she didn't understand them. Owls did the same job. She stood up off the bench when Shiloh walked back over and said that her mum had agreed. "Would you like to look around first or grab your things??" Sam didn't mind either way. Whichever one they picked, she would still have a few hours before Dervish brought Bella and Rosie home. "I can apparate the both of us to the motel if it's too long to walk."

Shiloh smiled at Sam. "We can go straight and get my things, and if you wouldn't mind apparating, I caught a bus to this place" She said as she smiled. She was exctied. She'd never done this before. And in another country no less. "Before we go, is there something I should know about apparating for the first time?" She asked. She had heard off one of her friends that the first time is the hardest.

Sam thought about how she could explain the feeling that apparating caused. "Don't hold your breath. The air just gets blown out of me and the first time I did it, I held my breath. Ended up going light headed. Sam hadn't enjoyed her first time apparating but it was a useful and easy way to get around. Sam held onto Shiloh's hand. "Where is the motel??" She needed to at least know where abouts she was going.

Shiloh nodded as she took in Sam's advice. Don't hold your breath "Ok, well, it is just on the corner of Luxen and River road" She said as she remembered the street names. "The Hotel is called Benny's" She added as an after thought. Then she closed her eyes and waited.

Sam smiled at her. "I know where you're talking about." She thought about the road that she had only been down three or four times and then apparated the two of them there. Sam was used to the feel of apparating-though it wasn't a great feeling when pregnant. She looked down at Shiloh. "Are you OK??" SAm looked away from the younger and up at the motel in front of them.
