Athene Styx made her way to the library. This was the first place that she wanted to go to find some time away from the Ravenclaw dorms. She imagined that the girls would be a little loud. Athene also knew that her older brother would not be in the library either, so this would be her new haven. Athene walked into the library and noticed all of the books. So many! Athene wanted to have a look at the old Hogwarts Monthly editions so that she could read what sort of peers she managed to gain by coming here. Athene's silvery eyes washed over the papers. No one looked familiar yet, but soon, she would know these faces, and how they thought as well. Once she read through everything. She was lucky that they kept the archives here in the library.

Eoin was quite sure that no one was ever going to be able to drag him out of the library. As soon as he had seen the size of it and how many books there were he was certain he would never leave and was determined to read through every single book on offer. You could never know too much information, after all. Though he seemed to have found himself down an aisle filled with old school newspapers, curiously tilting his head to read the years as he walked, and it appeared he was not the only one who happened to be looking at them. "It's a lot of papers, huh," he offered in a way of friendly conversation, "you looking for someone in particular?" He could imagine siblings coming here to find old embarrassing pictures of their family.

Athene's grey eyes looked up to see that there was someone else talking to her. Athene was not used to people approaching her. Then again, she was not used to others anyway. She had a fairly sheltered life. Both of her parents were introverts. He was asking if she was looking for someone in particular. Athene shook her head, and spoke with a soft tone, so soft that one would have to lean in to hear her, "No. Just observing the types of people that I will be with for the next seven years. See what they are interested in." Athene shrugged her shoulders since she did not have anything else to add about it. She just wanted to study the people here in the school, so that she knew who to avoid.

The girl didn't seem inclined to talk much, which Eoin was fine with. It was something he could understand himself. Though he did have to stay extra quiet to even hear what the girl said, hoping that he had actually heard her correctly in the end and wasn't about to respond to the wrong thing. "Fair enough," he reasoned after a moment with a small nod of his head, turning his eyes back to the rows of old papers, "Some of them are pretty old though, so most people in them would have graduated." But he supposed it still couldn't be interesting to flick through the older editions and see the sorts of people who had passed through the halls and managed to get out in one piece.
