Eric walked into his favorite little sports bar downtown from where he lived, He stumbled across the muggle bar shortly after he moved in and came to like the little place. The place was a little empty but that was okay he had come to watch his daddy play soccer on the big screen tv as he muched on a few wings and drank a little. He was usually joined by a few guys from a local factory and they would all get pretty rowdy especially when they all rooted a different team. Eric found his favorite table and sat down, he asked the waitress to turn on the game as he order a basket of garlic parm wings with a side of fries and a local draft beer. Eric was glued to the tv, the game had begun and Eric searched for his dad while he waited for his food or a guest.

Dec was in a muggle bar in Oceania. It wasn't very often he found himself in muggle bars. But there was one Muggle sport that Dec couldn't resist, and that was football. He ordered a normal beer from the bar, then took his seat to watch the football. Dec didn't particularly like beer all that much, but there were no Wizarding drinks here, so he would just have to put up with it. Dec looked around to see who else seemed to be supporting the same team as he was. "Alright Mate?" He asked a guy nearby him.

"Yep I am good thats my dad playing!" Eric said to the gentleman next to him as the man asked a sorta have question hopefully he was making sure that Eric was okay or else he would feel like a real jerk for name dropping and everything. Eric waved for the man to join him if he wanted, Eric was a friendly guy overall and so he often inveted a large crowd over to the table and foot the tab but since the place was pretty dead yet he thought he would try and russle up a crowd. Eric smiled as he stood up half way and reached out a hand toward the man. "The name is Eric nice to meetcha, you are more than welcome to join me if you like. The table gets pretty full so it is best to get a seat while you still can." Eric said as he laughed a little to himself.

Dec walked towards the guy as he waved him over. "Oh right, I see, what team?" Dec asked, interested to hear that his dad was Professional football player, Dec had always dreamed of that as a little kid. "Yeah sure, I'll join ya..." Dec added, taking a seat next to the guy. "And I'm Dec...it's good to meet you Eric..." Dec trailed off, happy to have made a new friend. "So do you come here very often then mate?" Dec asked happily.

"My dad plays for Germany, he had play for the United states but was later signed on to the german team." Eric said with a smile as he took a swig of his own drink. "I come here all the time the people are great and all for muggles that is, I live outside of town and come here for the atmosphere and the company. It is kind of boring sitting at home all alone if you get what I am saying. It nice to meet you Dec by the way." Eric smiled as the guy sat down nearby. Eric was brought his food and another drink from a really sexy young waitress who placed her hand on his back as she placed the food on the table. Eric winked at the woman and handed her a tip and turned his attention back to his new friend.

Dec smiled Eric told him that his dad played for Germany. "Aww Wow Mate, that sound awesome." Dec said, replying to the young looking guys comment. Dec nodded as Eric told him that it was good to meet him. He watched him as the waitress came over. 'Typical Flirt.' Dec thought to himself, as he witnessed him wink at the woman. "Trying to get lucky with the waitresses or something there mate..." Dec said jokingly as he looked over the waitress who had just served Eric. "Although, I don't blame ya mate, she's pretty nice." He said, eyeing up the waitress.

Eric about fell off his chair in laughter as Dec comment on the girl he had just winked at, after amoment to recover Eric wiped a tear from the corner of his eye. " If you want her I can get you her number but as for me buddy I am gay and she is so not my type." Eric said with a wink. Now came for the akward stage when he came out to someone new, even after all these years it was still super tough to deal with. The guy could react in a thousand ways and only a hand full of them could be good so Eric turned his attention to the game and waited for the guy to react.

Dec was a little taken-a-back when the guy told him that he was gay. Dec had no problem with it, he just hadn't seen this guy as the gay type. But then again they never were. Smiling at the guy, Dec replied. "Ah well that's too bad for the waitress isn't then mate..." He said, making a joke out of it. He wasn't gonna let this guy's sexuality change the way he acted around him. He was just another guy to Dec. "But at least it gives me a better chance." Dec said, laughing a little.

"She is not the only heartbroken girl in the world that I have caused, anyways I think she was lookin at you anyways." Eric fired back as he threw back a few fries and took a swig of his drink. The game had finally started but it was a lot of back and forths with no team taking the lead. Eric turned his attention to the young man and smiled as he made acomment about his odds with the waitress. "So what brought you to this little muggle town anyways? Most people like us stay away from places like this?" Eric said codedly..

Dec thought for a minute before replying to Eric's question. "Oh I dunno, maybe I just have a secret passion for football..." Dec trailed off. He may have been a wizard, but football was something that Dec had always enjoyed. Whether he was watching it or playing it, he loved it with all his heart. "What about you? Just here to watch your dad I guess?" He asked the guy, before ordering another drink from the waitress that had served Eric earlier on.

Dec winked at the Waitress as she bought him his drink. He leaned over towards Eric. "I bet you I'll get a response from her by the end of the evening..." He said quietly to Eric.

"I grew up around muggles all my life heck my granddad is full blood muggle and so this place reminds me of home. I have a big screen at home but it is no fun watching it alone." Eric said with a half smile he dearly missed home and he hated being single. he spent most of his time away from his own place because it reminded him to much of his sad situation. Eric looked up when dec mention the waitress and with the ease of a well season pro he reached for the womans hand. she jumped but did not pull away.

"I am sorry miss but me and my friend was just marveling at your beauty and was wondering if a girl like you goes home to an empty house. If you do my friend is new to the area and maybe you can give him your number and you two can hang out sometime." The woman looked a little confused but after laying eyes on his buddy she shrugged and put her number on the table. She then rushed off to help another table with a little more red in the face and a little more bounce to her step. Eric slid the number to the guy and smiled.

"She knows I am gay, I used to date her brother!" Eric said with a wink.

Dec smiled as Eric got the Waitresses number for him. "Mate, you're a gay genius..." He said jokingly, before playfully punching him in the arm, then grabbing the piece of paper with the number on. Dec caught eye-contact with the waitress and showed her the piece of paper in his hand before winking at her. "I'll be seeing that number again..." Dec said happily as he slid the piece of paper into his pocket.

"So anyway, this better be a good game, I feel right out of place in this muggle bar as it is..." Dec said, smiling at the guy as he waited for a response.

" A good game? it is going to be a great game I mean come on my dad is amazing and he and his team is doing good this year." Eric said as he threw back the rest of his drink and looked up at the screen in time to see Germany score a goal which cause Eric to jump and roar at the top of his voice causing a few people to jump a little bit. "THAT IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!" Eric said one more time before sitting back down at the table. He then rembered his companion and turned a deep red as he felt a little embarassed.

Dec laughed happily as he watched Eric's reaction to Germany scoring. "Woah, you really are passionate about this aren't you." Dec said, patting the guys back three times as he finished laughing. "I mean I thought I was passionate...but you're just amazing mate..." Dec said with a smile as he sipped at his drink a little more.

Sorry it's rubbish. :erm: :)

"Sorry about that and all it just .... it my dad and he used to cheer me on like this when I was little so why not cheer him on like this when I am older." Eric said as he scr hatched the back of his head and smiled in an almost cartoonish kind of way. " I am a passionate man " Eric said as he wiggled his eyebrows and spoke in a mysterious spanish accent as he he winked at the man, hopefully it would get a laugh out of the guy rather than a punch to Erics face. He was a playful guy and sometimes his humor was a little to real for some while other like James would shake it off and often camme back with something twice as serious and twice as bold.

Dec laughed as the guy winked at him. It was a little strange, but this guy seemed cool enough to Dec. "Oy mate, you may be gay, but I ain't." Dec said, speaking with a cheeky smile, pushing Eric's head down from the back, in a playful, and matey kind of way. That was just the way Dec was, no-one was ever going to change that. "But ey mate, there isn't nothing wrong with being a little passionate every now and again, Spanish Accent or not." Dec said, with a little giggly laugh as he spoke.

"It is always worth a shot!" Eric said with a big smile on his face as he turned to the young man next to him as he finished off another drink. "So stranger what do you do for a living? Do you live close by? " Eric said as the game became a back and forth match between the two teams and no one else seemed to be paying them any attention and Eric was not going anywhere for awhile.

Dec laughed as Eric asked him what he did. "To be honest mate, not much at all, I need to get myself a job..." Dec said, feeling a little stupid for not having a job. "My little brother, Joe, is at Hogwarts, so I write to him sometimes, and I'm looking for a girlfriend." Dec said, hoping he'd get to see Alexis again soon, they had managed to strike up a good, and close relationship last time they had met, which was also the first time. "What about you Mate?" He asked, returning the question.

"I work at the ministry as a wizarding examanier, I am also a private tutor to all ages, and I was till most recently a wedding planner but I think I am going to drop out of that field. I may even ask for reassignment to a different office.' Eric said with a half smile. he was not liking the current post at the ministry and was looking for something far more exciting.

Dec was a little taken a-back by all of the jobs that Eric said he did. "Woah, you are one busy man." Dec said with a laugh. "How an earth do you have time for Soccer?" Dec joked. This guy had become a good mate in the past Half an Hour or so.
