Cameron sat rather nervously on a bench outside the movies. It had taken him a few days to actually call Eric, but once he had done so, he definately felt better knowing that Eric had agreed. So he had made sure to pick a day when there would be three movies playing. Eric could choose. He didn't really mind any of the movies. They were all fine in his opinion. Though the documentry on some dude was probably not the way he would go. but if Eric wanted to watch it he supposed that he could endure it for him. Now he was just waiting nervously. It wasnt that he was worried that Eric wouldn't show. he was more afraid that he would. It had been a fair few months since he had last dated and even longer since he had dated another guy. He sighed. His black jeans and blue shirt should out against the pale wall. And his black nails were a dead giveaway to who he was. Eric would definately be able to see him.

Eric turned the corner that lead down to the movie theatre as his car speed down the small straight away and came to a beautiful stop in front of the theatre. Eric was dressed to impress since he always looked his best but he was not sure if he had not over did it for a first date. He had opted out of traveling outside of New Zealand in his families private jet since he did not want to over kill his upper class upbringing. Eric stepped out of his car and as the door close Eric waved at Cameron as he gave the young man a big smile.

"I am sorry for being late I had to take the dog out and drop some papers off at the office before I could head over, I would have called but I forgot I am sorry. hopefully you did not wait here to long for me?" Eric said as he offered the man a hug as he stuckhis phone in his pocket and locked his car with his automatic key.

Cameron was stunned as he saw a sleek red and black car driving towards him. Somehow he just knew that it was Eric. He knew Eric had money so he didn't put it past the guy to have an obscenly expensive car. When Eric got out, he also wore an impressive outfit. Cameron just shook his head. He really should have expected nothing less. Though he had only met Eric a few days ago, he had made it obvious that he had been rich with the amount of money he had left him. He accepted the hug and smiled slightly as he started walking towards the cinema. "Your not really that late actually" He said as he laughed slightly at everything. He couldn't believe that he was actually doing this. It was like he was a teenager again. "Your car is mad, where did you get it?" He asked. It was probably a dumb question, but he wanted to know.

"Well I am gla that I am not too late because that would be bad, as for the car it was a gift from my dad for my twenty first birthday. I am not a spoiled little brat I have made a small forune of my own and could have bought it but he beat me to it and so yeah. What are a movie choice for the evening? Do you have a one in mind?" Eric said as he laughed nervously as he tried to act normal but was failing miserable. Eric was not sure what movies where out in New Zealand he had not gone to a movie since he moved to the country. Eric had no one to go with except Irene but neither he nor her cared for the theatre but were more interested in chick flicks in bed with junk food galour. Eric hugged the guy and was glad that he liked his car and so far Cameron did not seem intimedated by Eric wealth like so many of his past flings were but that was only because they hated Eric spending money on them and it made hard for people to get him gifts.

Cameron smiled as Eric was glad he wasn't too late. And he hadn't been not really. Then to hear that the car was actually a gift for him and that he hadn't bought it. Well Cameron was overwhelmed to say the least. Not that he blamed the guy for having so much money, it wasn't like it was his fault really. But he couldn't help being just alittle jealous, though he did well to hide this. "Well, there are three movies playing at this time. One is some documentry on some guy, didn't catch his name, one is a romantic comedy and the other one is a horror film" He said shrugging. He didn't have any particular preference for any of the movies. Cameron could see that Eric was nervous. He was too. He hadn't dated in awhile. Cameron then hugged Eric back as he headed up to the doors. When he got to the doors, he turned around and smiled holding open the door as he walked through. "So have you decided what you wanna see yet. I have no preference so its up to you" He said as he shrugged.

"Yeah I do but you may not like my decision, I say we blow this movie thing and go get dinner and visit the mall to go shopping." Eric siad as he walked up to Cameron as he placed his hand on the small of the guys back as he waited for the man to figure out what he want to do, a few people walked into the open door that Cameron was holding a few confused looks and a couple of giggles came from a few of the theatre customers causing Eric to smile a little as he winked at a old man who seemed to want to say something. The wink mad him turn red as he rushed inside quickly, Eric simply laughed a little to himself as he turned his attention back to Cam.

Cameron listened to Eric as he suggested blowing the movie and going to the mall. He almost jumped slightly as Eric put his hand in the small of his back. He was most definatley not expecting that at all. He then rolled his eyes at the stares of the people coming from the opened door. He eventually let it close as he realised that he had no need to hold it open anymore. He smiled after the older gentleman and slapped Eric lightly on the shoulder for making the man red. "That was not nice" he laughed. He grabbed Eric's hand and pulled him towards the direction of the mall. "Alright then, we'll go shopping... atleast for a while" He said as he winked back at Eric.

Sorry I took so long. Was trying to figure out a good response. I think I did alright though.

Eric smiled as the man took his hand lead him down the street, Eric pulled out his wand and gave it a quick flick at the car which caused the car to disapear from site. Eric then turned his attention on Camerononce more as he gave a big to the older man," So Bartendar Cameron how have you been since we last talk, are the drunks treating you nice? Oh and by the way I hope you left your money at home because tonight is all on me as my treat, I have more money than I need so it is my gift to you !" Eric said with as he heard the wierd nervousness in his voice creeping in his words again. Eric was enjoying the awesome weather and the beautiful night sky as it was clear this evening.

Cameron laughed slightly as he wathced the car disappear. "You do remember that we are in a muggle part of the world right?" He asked as he guestured around them to the many people walking around. "Its not exactly Obsidian Harbour" He laughed as he continued walking. "I've been working mostly... I don't really get much time off for this sort of thing. Remind me to thank my workmate for this treat. I'm not sure of exactly how often its going to happen. I don't get much time off unfortunatley." He said, purposely not answering the question about the drunks. "But I invited you out, its only fair that I do all the spending" He tried to convince Eric of this fact, fairly sure that he was fighting a losing battle. He could still hear the nervousness in Eric's voice as he spoke. "Nervous?" He asked as he lead Eric down the street to the mall.

"I am a skilled wizard my attractive young friend and as for the muggles they could'nt see my car if I parked it on them, I put a few repelling spells on it. I love to speed and I hate tickets so no worries there and besides its me we are talking about here!

Now as for your job I am pretty sure if you tried hard enough you could get off when ever you wanted I just think you have not had the right person approach you yet for you to need time off. I am a very social man and in my daily life I am hardly ever not enjoying myself so like I said tonight, you buy what you want on me or I will buy one of everything you look at tonight. I have a rather large bank account and so dont think for a moment I wouldnt do exactly as I said I would.

I am a little nervous truth be told it has been awhile since I have had a serious one on one time with anyone and so I dont want to put my foot in my mouth." Eric said as he started with his ego and ended with his vulnerable side hoping to show the man that he was not one deminsional and could be funny as well as honest when he spoke. Eric did not know if Cameron and him would become an item but he knew that if he did not try his best than he would never give anyone the 110 percent that so many of Eric's exs said he was incapable of giving.

Cameron nodded in understanding as Eric told him that the car had been charmed. Which would have explained why noone but he had oogled at the car. "I guess that explains why no one was impressed by it. I had thought that had been odd" He said shaking his head. "Its definately a good way to get out of speeding tickets." He said shaking his head. Cameron had one or two speeding tickets to his name. But they were mostly for being late to work. He didn't necessarily like driving fast. He then listened as Eric went on to explain why he couldn't get a day off. Which could be correct really. Cam had never really had any desire to get off of work. Most of his other relationships worked around him, or had lived with him. So he saw them all the time anyway. Eric, if all went well, would be his first outside relationship. It was really quite daunting now tha the thought about it. His other relationships had done most of the work for him. This time, he knew, was going to be different. "I think you are right about that one" he said as he thought over it. He then shook his head. He was going to have to be careful not to look at anything. He didn't want Eric to buy him everything he looked at. The poor man would have to buy the whole of New Zealand after only spending an hour with him.

Cameron gave Eric an encouraging smile as he admitted his nervousness. While he too was feeling the same, he seemed to be in more control of his emotions. He figured this came from his bartending skills. As a bartender he had to be very careful as to which emotions he allowed customers to see. Which had failed him whilst he had been in Eric's company. "Well I think your funny and charming too... atleast when your not threatening to buy half of New Zealand... which is what would probably happen if you held yourself to your promise of buying whatever I looked at if I didn't take up your offer" He said laughing slightly. They were almost at the mall. Which was just as well. Cam was feeling slightly hungry.

"So what would you like to do first when we get to the mall, would you like to grab a bite to eat or at least something to hold you off till dinner or what? I know I am a little hungry but not starving yet and I hear that this mall has some of the best pretzels around these parts." Eric said with a smile as he saw that they were coming up to the mall. As Cameron thought his question over Eric thought about what Cameron had said about him being charming and funny, which was nice to her from some one that Eric could have an interest in and not just from Irene. Eric learned his charm from his father and his sense of humour from his grandfather while his mother taught him compassion and kindness. Eric valued all of those lesson and was proud that he had not let his family down and stuck to his guns all of his life.

They finally reached the mall and so Eric head to the main doors and held it open for Cameron as he showed that he had manners as well. Once in side Eric looked about and was not impressed but that was not a bad thing, the mall was like most malls he had been to with polished floors and bright lights and of course all of the people. Eric turned to look at Cameron and waited to see if he figure out what he wanted to do first.

Cameron thought the question over for a few minutes, he was slightly hungry but he was not going to die any time soon. "I think I could go for a nice pretzel." He said smiling, Cameron had not had the chance to eat pretzel and other things like that, with Abby and her must eat right laws it was nearly impossible to enjoy any meal. But when she was not around everyone in the house would pitch in and make a mega meal to eat, usually it was a huge bowl of noodles or something similar since they were easy and safe to make, it was nearly impossible to burn down a house while making noodles but possible.

Cameron smiled when they reached the mall, and he was impressed when Eric beat him to the doors and held them open. Very carefully Cameron walked through the doors, he had to make sure that he did not look at anything extremely expensive, he was sure Eric would make good on his promise and buy anything he looked at so instead he decided to look at his shoes, Eric couldn't buy those, well Cameron was sure he couldn't anyway. But after a few seconds Cameron gave up and looked at all the stores around them, there were so many. "Ohhh," He mumbled softly walking towards a nice clothing store, he couldnt help himself but look at all the shirts and shoes there, and they were all his size!

Eric smiled as he caught Cameron looking down at his shoes as he tried to not look at everything in the mall. Cameron however did not hold out too long before he set his eyes on a small store that had some nice clothes nothing that Eric would wear but it seemed as though the look was a popular with the locals. Eric ignored the request for pretzel for the time being since the food court was mostly likely in the middle of the building and they were at one end. Eric placed his hand on the small of Camerons back as heguide the man to the store that he had his eyes on.

The store had some modern music on the radio as people rushed about trying to complete their shopping. Eric waved over the manager of the store "How may I help you Sir" the man said polietly and with a smile. Eric loved this part of shopping, " Yes you see the blonde gentleman I am with, he is very dear to me and is in need of some help. You see I have a centurion card and an unlimited spending limit on it so money is not to be a problem." The manager smiled big when he heard of the cards name and rushed over to help Camerons needs and desire as he thought of his commision.

Cameron smacked himself in the face as he realised that he had just given Eric something to do. He sighed as Eric guided him into the store and made it clear to the manager that Cameron was to be given anything he wanted. He was going to protest but thought better of it. He simply gave Eric a sad look as the manager ushered him over to a part of the store that contained the more expensive clothes. No matter how much anguish Cmeron was feeling in that moment. He completely forgot about it when he saw the massive amounts of clothes that were on sale. His eyes lit up like a christmas tree as he looked at them all. He already knew he was going to be here a while. He needed a new wardrobe selection anyway. All his other clothes were already done to death.

He practically ran over to the denim section and looked through all the jeans. He really did have a love for jeans. If he ever had his way, he would have gotten married in jeans. Ofcourse if he ever did get married, which he doubted, Abby would never allow that to happen. He picked up a pair of tight black jeans and laughed at the little stitch that was on the pocket. It was of a heart of EE in the middle of it. It stood for 'Everlasting Enigma' which was the name of a small denim company. Cameron just thought it was funny that it could have also stood for Eric Evans. He looked over to where Eric was and held up the jeans and pointed to the stitch. It really was quite funny. Almost a coincidence really. "Dude would you check this out" He said laughing.

Eric pulled up a chair and was given a bottle of water by the cashier which he thanked kindly before he turned his attention to the man that was being pampered more in one day than in his entire life. Cameron was kind and caring with a child like demeanor that made Eric feel older and more generous than normal beside a few flaws he would make a wonderful boyfriend if they were to move the relationship further. And yet Cameron would also make a great friend that he could confide in and lean on when life got tough and so Eric was torn as how he should proceed. Was Cameron a friend or something more?

Eric was pulled from his train of thought when the young guy pointed out a pair of Jeans that had his intials on it which made Eric smile big. " Yeah I own the company! " Eric joked wondering if Cam would fall for it as Eric sipped his drink. After they left the shop Eric would stop by a store to pick up a few new suits and a few tshirts.

Cameron was frozen with shock at Eric's statement. It coudn't be true could it? There was no way, he had to be kidding right? Cameron pulled a susupicious face, looked at the jeans and then back at Eric several times before coming to a conclusion. "Eric Evans. Dont say such things" He said laughing slightly as he passed the jeans to the manager. "You could get sued.. though I'm sure you wouldn't be out of pocket." He said shaking his head as he ran over to where the hoodies were. He liked hoodies almost as much as he liked jeans. Then a thought struck him. He should buy something for Lisa, Hayden and little Lucy. Before he did so however he walked over to Eric to ask. "Hey, do you mind if I buy a couple of things for some friends of mine?" He asked. He loved Lisa and the girls. They were all so friendly, Lisa was his bestfriend after all. He really hoped that Eric wouldn't mind, and if he did, Cameron would just use his own money, which is what he had intended in the first place anyway.
OOCOut of Character:
Man sorry i took so long :tut:

Eric laughed along with the man as he realized after a few minutes that he was simply joking. He then was a little surprised when Cameron asked if he could by a few things for a few friends of his, Eric had not heard about Camerons friends and thought it would be a perfect time to learn a little more about the man."Go ahead I do not mind at all, if you don't mind for whom do you wish to get something for?" Eric said with a playful smile as he relaxed in his chair a moment.

Cameron rolled his eyes as Eric laughed. Yeah he had figured it out a little slow. He figured it was kind of funny. "Come on Eric, Its not that funny" He said as he hide a smile. He really did quite like Eric, and he wondered just how far this relationship would go. "Thanks, its not much, but I didn't get around to buying them christmas presents is all" He said nodding slightly before smiling and turning away. He then turned back as he heard the rest of the sentence. "My friends? Oh sure" He said as he turned back to face Eric. "Well, I was just going to pick up something nice for my bestfriend Lisa, her partner Hayden, and her daughter Lucy" He said as he smiled at the thought of the look on her face when he presented them with the gifts. "I've known Lisa for years, she works with me at the bar" He said as he laughed. "Hayden is really funny and nice, she loves to dance and she is always acting like a kooky kid" He added as an after thought. "Then of course there is Lucy. She is adorable, only just turned one" He added again as he thought about the smallest member of the Kaster clan. Cameron liked kids, loved them infact, but he still wasn't sure he'd want his own. Atleast if he had someone elses kid, he could give them back.

Eric smiled as he watched Cameron talk about his friends in such away that one simply had just take one look to see the love had for them. Eric had a few friends like that in his life and so he knew how Cameron felt, also Eric was set at ease as he realize ithe gifts were for girls and not guys.Eric and Cameron were on the first date and so it was still to early to tell if they would be good together but that was a wise move on Erics part. It was not smart to base a relationship on first appearances because sometimes first appearances hid all the ugliness beneath the surface. " Speaking of christmas I shold stop by a few places and pick out a few things for my friends as well." Eric said as he was reminded of his own need to go shopping.
