Lucy knew she didn't really have much to complain about, but she couldn't help being disappointed that this year just hadn't been what she hoped it would. Her life was loveless, and Ravenclaw's trophy cabinet was empty of Quidditch accolades. It was frustrating, and she was already looking ahead to next year - surely things had to get better then. At least for the moment she wasn't alone, her friends were the best people in the world as far as Lucy was concerned, and she got to hang out with them. She had just said goodbye to Hazel after walking her to the Slytherin common room and was heading back up, humming to herself as she tried not to think of the essay waiting for her in her dorm.

Logan had perked up when he heard Hazel say Lucy had walked her back to the Slytherin common room. He had abandoned his sister immediately to hurry after her. Lucy was so cool and fun and he didn't understand why she was Hazel's friend. He practically ran up to her, then slowed down so he could pretend he wasn't running to catch up. "Hey." He said a little breathlessly. "Are you heading to Quidditch practice?" One of the coolest things about Lucy was that she wasn't just a Quidditch player, she was captain.

Lucy looked over when she saw someone running to meet her, beaming at the sight of Hazel's little brother. "Logan, hiiiiii!" She said brightly, reaching out to hug the younger boy in greeting. It was still so weird seeing him at Hogwarts - he'd always been around when she had holiday sleepovers at Hazel's, but she was still getting used to seeing him on the day-to-day around Hogwarts. "I was gonna go do some homework actually, booo." She stuck her tongue out in disapproval. "I just got done walking Hazel back to her dorm, so she's there if you're looking."

Logan grinned at the happy greeting he got from Lucy, it made something flutter in his stomach. She was so cool, and she didn't treat him like a baby. "Oh, that sucks." He said, resisting the urge to offer to help. It would be a dumb thing to say to someone three years ahead, especially when he barely managed to do his own homework correctly. He scoffed when she assumed he wanted to talk to Hazel. "Nah, saw her all break." He told Lucy. "I could walk you back to your common room now, since otherwise you'd just be walking alone?" He asked, a hint of hopefulness in his tone.
