Indi had quickly found the best spot in the library, or at least it was for her, and had spent the last semester and a half trying to stake a claim on the spot. So far it was a mixed success but she had managed to snag it this afternoon which was perfect because she had a lot of work to do. Most of her classes were going well and honestly not a lot of them were that challenging but that didn't mean she could slack off. Even if it was ease she had to know it, she wasn't about to let any of her classmates get the upper hand. She looked up from her transfiguration homework and conveniently spotted one of her classmates. She know he was in Ravenclaw and so far seemed to be the only one of her classmates that seemed like they had half a brain. "Hey." she called out in hushed tone and waved him over. It was exactly quiet but she wanted to make sure she was heard even if it was a library. "What's your name again?" she asked in the same stage whisper. Indi had only seen him in class and briefly at one of the dances, and couldn't remember it.

Eoin was no stranger to the library. In fact, he practically lived there, spending all of his free time out of the classroom sat in a quiet corner trying to get as much reading done as possible. When he wasn't busy down by the lake studying the aquatic life and plants there instead so he could give a detailed report to his father once he got home. But that afternoon he was once again in the library, a stack of rented books on the table next to him, and his nose stuck in one as he tried to absorb as much information from the page as humanly possible. But he was distracted by a whisper seemingly aimed towards him, blinking as he peered up from the page at the girl who tried to talk to him. "Its Eoin," he responded, trying to keep his voice down in case the librarian came over and told him off for being too loud. "Why?"

Indi was relieved when the other boy seemed to finally hear her and looked up. “Eoin.” she repeated thoughtfully as she did her best to commit it to memory. “Good to know.” she said before rolling her eyes when he asked her why. She decided to ignore such a stupid question for now but noted the nervous way he looked around and sighed. Quickly Indi picked up her books and bag and made her way to the table he was working at instead. “What are you working on?” she asked in a more library appropriate whisper as she got her homework back out.

"You haven't given me your name yet," he did offer, his dark gaze studying the girl for just a moment. He didn't think it was very fair if she knew who he was but he didn't know who she was. Maybe she just expected him to remember what her name was from classes, but he hardly paid that much attention to others to know that. He shrugged at the next question, just gesturing to the book in front of him, "Just reading." While he could have probably given a little more context of what he was reading, he didn't really feel the need to share that much detail. She still hadn't really told him why she wanted to know in the first place.

Indi sighed but realized she couldn't be too annoyed, she hadn't remembered his name either. "Oh right. It's Indira but I go by Indi for short." she explained. She wasn't sure what she had been expecting when she started talking to him but she didn't think having a simple conversation would be so...hard. "Is it any good?" she asked dryly since it appeared that was all he was going to say on the subject. Indi had hoped getting to know him would benefit both of them, since two heads were better than one in most situations.
