Although the summer nights have been cooler than the temperature in the morning, it still did not satisfy the mood of a certain young girl. Victoria Alice Chase, a hater of the sun, had been grouchy for the past few days, frowning all the time or locking herself in the manor where the temperature is a lot cooler than the one outside. She had requested the huge place - which she called her room - to be charmed with a spell that would make the place cooler than usual. The summer nights had been uncomfortable for the seven year old and really, she was not used to it. She loved winter and autumn but that was just it. It was currently summer and Victoria could do anything about it. Damn, she was really craving for some coolness. For some reason, she tried convincing her father to bring her to Scotland instead to experience the cool weather there. America has been driving her crazy too, with the muggles spending time in the beach just near their manor. They were surfing like professionals and Victoria had no choice but to remain in the manor instead of just going out in the woods. California was beginning to dry her up and so she asked her mother if ever they had any upcoming trips. Fortunately, they did travel the next day.

Holding the hand of her mother, Victoria wrinkled her tiny nose. Her mother apparated themselves to New Zealand, for shopping?! Victoria loved fashion and she also had some things to buy but she really was not in the mood to pick pink clothes for herself. "Mom, that does not look good on you." Vicky muttered obviously as her beautiful mother tried on a strapless red dress. It was elegant and shiny with a small amount of glitters but it did not suit her height. She was a tall woman and short dresses weren't good on ladies like her mother. "I'll just go outside. There's nothing to do." Victoria said as her mother spoke to the person who was assisting them. She exited the store and went to a small isolated place where a good scenery of the whole place was just beneath her. There were a few people, chattering and couples dating. There was a small bench on the side and it was clean. Victoria sat on it and swung her legs as she viewed the whole thing with her sea green eyes.
