The wind whipped about her but she didn't care, she had taken her broom out with every intention of doing some speed runs but once she walked out onto the pitch, Andy simply hadn't the heart to even climb on her broom. She sighed instead and walked the length and breath of the pitch before finally deciding to simply head up into the Gryffindor stands and sequestering herself away up there.

She pulled her jacket a bit tighter, zipping it up and huddling her arms about her waist after putting her broom down on the bench behind her. Looking out onto the pitch from this dizzying height was always a rush but today Andromeda simply felt alien to it all. For nearly three months now herself and Bruin had been dating and for the first two, everything had been going brilliantly. It was only these past few weeks that he had begun distancing himself from her, shutting himself away to 'study'. She knew very well he had his NEWTs but that didn't stop other seventh years from being seen having fun about the school.

Andy leaned against the frame work and stared upwards at the greying clouds. She was usually very good intuitively and something in her told her that Bruin was fed up with her, that he had simply had enough. Maybe he had finally realised that her being 15 years old and him being 17 was just not going to work. She still had three more years at school after this, while he would be off making his mark on the world. There was no one she could really talk to about it, her roomies all had their own problems and issues to deal with and certainly didn't need to hear any of Andy's misplaced (if that's what they were) worries.

Looking out on the pitch once more, she wondered what she should do.

Alex sighed as he walked to the quidditch pitch. It wasn't a sigh of frustration or sadness. Just the fact of relief to be out the school building and into the fresh air finally. He felt the chilly wind whipped against his features but it was more of a comfort after having been cooped up for ages.
Running the last few hundred meters, he jogged into the pitch spotting a familiar person sitting in the stands. 'Hey Andy. Why you not flying up in the skies like you usually do?' he called out to her though it was pretty pointless as the wind just blew away the sound of his voice. He sprinted up to her and sat down.
'How are you?'he asked her, giving her a wide grin. He pulled his hood up as sitting down here was actually quite cold.

Andy thought she heard the sound of someones voice as if it were carried across the wind. Looking down once more to the pitch she saw a figure coming towards the stands but couldn't quite make out who it was. After a while up the steps and onto the benches came Alex. Andy smiled at him, she hadn't seen him in ages and he was a friend, a good one. He was also dating her roomie and bestfriend Kiera. At least Andy hoped they still were, Kiera had only spilt to her recently about kissing JP. What a mess she was in, Andromeda didn't want to be in her shoes for anything. She hoped that Alex wouldn't mention Kiera, for as much as she liked him her loyalty was always with her House sister first and foremost.

"Hey Alex, I'm ..." Andy paused how could she say she was fine when she certainly didn't feel an inch of it, "doing as well as can be expected."
It wasn't a lie, she was doing exactly that. Holding on with her finger tips, ready to scream if he ... Bruin let her go. Her hands trembled slightly and she placed them between her knees that were bunched up infront of her on the bench. She was almost certain he was letting her go and that distancing himself from her the way he had been was simply his way of telling her. Andy knew she should give Bruin more credit than that but she was just so lost and lonely without him. It amazed her how much she had come to depend on him.
"Are Hufflepuff still celebrating their win then?" putting the conversation onto neutral territory was always a good move.

Alex smiled before frowning slightly as Andy paused in her response.
'Just managing? Why? What's up?' he asked, knowing by Andy's personality, she would probably tell him to bug off if she had no wishes to tell him.
'Hufflepuff are of course celebrating their win. What else do you expect us to do. Sit about and do nothing while Ravenclaw are boasting about their huge lead?'
he joked with her, sighing slightly.
'Yeah, the common room had been empty when i got there but it's still has a few burnt patches on the carpet and maybe some spilt butterbeer here and there,' he told her, as a matter of fact style almost but not quite. He waited for her facial response before breaking into a grin.
'Joking,' he replied meaning to every single thing he had said from the start of Hufflepuff and the end of the butter beer part.
