Sitting by the lake

Katrina walked down to the lakeside, looking around to see if there were any other students nearby. Seeing that there were none, she sat down at the edge of the water and picked up a few pebbles. Absently she began to toss them into the smooth surface of the water. As the water rippled, she thought about her parents and her room at home. She still had to redecorate her new Dorm Room, and knew that she should include mostly green, since she was very proud of being a Slytherin. Smirking to herself, she tossed another, slightly larger rock into the water, making a loud splashing sound as it hit.

Rose had a sudden craving for being outdoors and be by the water. Noticing the Slytherin girl she had met at the Halloween feast sitting by herself, Rose decided to go over. "Er, hello!" Rose said happily.
