Hamza had just broken up with his girlfriend Maria, which didn't bother him, but he did start to feel alone again. Hamza walked up the stairs to the Fifth Floor Corridor and continued walking until he came across a very interesting Painting, which attracted him. He looked at it and saw someone transforming from human form to an Owl and then flying away. Hamza instantly thought about his dream to become a certified Animegas and transforming to a dog one day, after he would be done with his extensive training to becoming an Animegas. "I just wish my next few years here at Hogwarts would pass by fast so that I could be a certified Animegas." said Hamza while sighing to himself.

Hamza then put his books down on the ground and then sat right under the painting that he liked. He stretched out his legs, unbuttoned his sleeves, so he could feel relaxed. Hamza then started to think about his break up with his girlfriend, all the good times he had with her. Hamza thought about the time when he first met her in the garden, when she was really shy and wasn't too open to him, but they managed to start dating each other, and now it was all over. "Meh, I'll find another girl, no worries." said Hamza while looking towards the ground. He felt a bit more relaxed now because he had no time to himself lately since he had been hanging around his friends and talking all the time. He felt his head going at ease now, his legs and his arms finally feeling relaxed. Hamza then looked to his right, then left and saw no one coming. "Finally, I can get some rest." said Hamza while closing his eyes.

Katheryn Kingsley had just completed her Quidditch tryouts down on the pitch. She wasn't worried about making the team. She had been a starting chaser, and a keeper before that, every year that she had attended Hogwarts New Zealand. She was very confident that she would do no less this coming year. She was slightly tired since she had stayed after tryouts to practice her Quidditch for a bit longer. It felt good to fly, so free and open in the sky. She loved it.

Kat bounded up the stairs towards the Transfiguration classroom. She intended to go see her mother, who taught years one through four transfiguration. Katheryn wanted to tell her all about her date with Jake last night as well as her quiditch tryouts this morning. Her mother had been captain of the Slytherin team back in the day at Hogwarts Scotland so she was always interested in Kat and Kiera's Quidditch news.

Katheryn stopped short as she spied a boy, practically laying on the floor asleep. She frowned and pushed her red bangs out of her face. She supposed that she needed to wake the boy up. As a prefect, she couldn't let young students lay in the hallways. Kat leaned down, gently shaking the boy. "Excuse me? Are you okay?" she asked kindly, her southern accent thick in her voice.

Hamza was laying there on the floor trying to relax a little bit. Hamza was really missing his parents, and with his father being in the Ministry Of Magic of NZ, he knew that he could get in touch with his father anytime, but he was missing his mother more. He was remembering the times he spent with his mother, such as the first time she showed Hamza of salt transfiguring into sugar so that she could put into her coffee, and another time where she transfigured her broom and mom to clean all of the floors. At that time, Hamza was a little boy, around 6 years of age. Hamza thought in his mind, 'Man, those were good times, and now I'm on the path where my mother and father once were and they made their lives. I sure hope I become as good as my father and my mother one day.' A smile then rose on his lips.

While Hamza was lost in his thoughts, he was touched and shaken by someone. Hamza opened his eyes slowly and looked to his right to see an older girls looking towards him and asking him if he was okay. Hamza stretched his legs and arms and then stood up while leaving his books on the ground. "I'm sorry if I worried you, I am fine." said Hamza with a smile on his face. "I was just a little tired and decided to sit on the ground for a few minutes and was having the most wonderful dream." said Hamza. Hamza noticed that the girl was an older student, perhaps a student in her 6th or 7th year. "Excuse me, I take it you are of 6th year student or a 7th year student? It's finally nice to meet someone older than me." said Hamza while rubbing his eyes. Hamza had always wanted to meet an older year student, but never had gotten a chance to because of how busy he was with his daily schedule. "I'm sorry if I alarmed you. My name is Hamza and I'm a 1st Year Hufflepuff Student. I take it you are in hufflepuff as well by the looks of your robes." said Hamza while looking at the girl's robes.

Katheryn smiled as her blue eyes showed her relieve. The boy was fine and appeared as if he had simply been thinking rather than asleep. Every now and again you would find the occasional first year dozing in the hallway. Kat laughed at the boy's answer. "As long as you are good, then so am I." she said kindly. It would have really freaked her out if the boy had been harmed in anyway. Maybe Kiera had the courage to face dark presences but she certainly didn't.

Kat nodded her head at the boy's first question. "You are correct. I am a seventh year and a prefect." she informed the young boy. He couldn't be older than twelve or thirteen. She grinned as he guessed correctly once more. "Its a pleasure to meet you Hamza." she said politely. "I am Katheryn Kingsley but you can just call me Kat." she said, sticking her hand out for him to shake. "Again you are correct. I am a Hufflepuff." she said with a wink, her blue eyes sparkling with amusement.

Hamza still had his mother on his mind and smiled again while looking at the ceiling. "Yes, I'm perfectly fine, it's just.." said Hamza while thinking if should talk about this matter with the girl or not, he took a pause and said, "... I was thinking about my mother, I miss my parent's." Hamza then smiled at the girl. Hamza was pleased at the girl as not many people would come and wake another person up in that manner. Hamza remembered the time he was in a muggle school during 3rd grade and a student was sitting in class sleeping because he was tired from recess. Another student came up and kicked him to wake him up. After watching that incident, Hamza had been very careful to whom he speaks and talks to.

Hamza was a bit surprised when all three of his guesses were correct. "Please to meet you too Katheryn." said Hamza with a smile. Hamza was trying to imagine himself being in 7th year, being prefect and then soon to graduate from Hogwarts. Hamza was impressed by the way this 7th year student was talking to him, because he noticed before that 7th year students weren't too cool with 1st year student. "So, how does it feel to be a prefect, to graduating soon from Hogwarts?" said Hamza asking a question with a smile. Hamza really didn't want to ask too many questions to Katheryn since he had just met her, but his curiosity was starting to bug him. Hamza started to blush as Katheryn winked at him after saying that she he was correct about her being in Hufflepuff. "Hey, what are you doing in this time of the day on this floor? I thought that this corridor would be clear at this time of day." said Hamza while scratching his neck.

Katheryn listened to the boy with concern in her eyes. She nodded her head sympathetically as he said that he missed his parents. Kat had always been the most comforting and understanding of the three Kingsley children. "I missed my dad a lot when I first came here seven years ago but I guess it was a bit easier since I had my sister, Kiera, here. She was a year above me in a different house but it was easier to be here with her." she said with a grin. She decided to pause here for a minute, to help the first year. Her mother wouldn't mind if she was a bit late.

Kat laughed at his question. "To be honest, its very scary." she admitted truthfully. "I would have graduated last year if I hadn't left school for a year." she said, her blue eyes glittering at the memory. "Still, I have no idea what I am going to do when I leave here. There are so many different options." she said shaking her head. It was going to be a while before Kat decided. Kat grinned at his question. "I was on my way to see my mother in her office. She's one of the transfiguration professors." She explained.

Hamza was glad to hear that Katheryn could understand the way he felt and he thought they were off to a good start, having a good connection. "Kiera? You had a sibling that went here? That's pretty nice." Hamza took a small pause and said, "I'm alone here to be honest. My one sister attends Durmstrang and the other one is too young to attend school." said Hamza tying his show laces. Although Hamza's father was in the Ministry Of Magic, he really had no way of contacting him other than an Owl, but Hamza had not purchased an owl yet, and plus, his father would probably be too busy to reply anyways. "Well, my father is in the Ministry of Magic, department of mysteries to be more precise. He hasn't visited me nor has he contacted me to meet him anywhere, he's probably busy, but that's not usually like him." said Hamza.

Hamza was surprised to hear that Katheryn thought being a prefect was scary. Hamza was wanting to be a prefect when he would get into his second year. "Interesting you say that. Why do you think it's scary? I'm wanting to be a prefect once I get into my 7th year." said Hamza with a puzzled face. "I don't mean to be nosy in your life matters, but why did you leave school for a year? I mean, you could have graduated with your sister and both would have found good jobs together, perhaps working together would have been nice wouldn't it be?" said Hamza with a smile. "Well, you could always try the Ministry Of Magic, i hear they are hiring all the time in many different departments." said Hamza. "Wow, your mother is a professor here at Hogwarts? That's awesome. Who is your mother?" Hamza took a small pause and said, "My mother is trying to get a job here at Hogwarts as well." said Hamza with a smile. Hamza liked the idea of having his mother work at Hogwarts because if he were in any trouble or needed any help with his homework or just wanted to talk to someone, he would have his mother on his side.

Katheryn nodded her head as he said Kiera's name. "Yes, I did but she graduated in 2024. She was the Head Girl." Kat told Hamza. She neglected to say that Kiera's boyfriend at the time had been the Head Boy. Kat always felt as if she had to live up to the expectations set by her older sister. Katheryn smiled at Hamza as he said he was alone. "Don't worry you will make friends." she said encouragingly. "Durmstrang? My brother graduated from there several years ago. He even competed for them in the Triwizard Tournment that was held here." she said, proudly. "Now he's an Unspeakable at the ministry." Kat informed him. She was very proud of all of Cameron's accomplishments. "Maybe Cam know's your father then." she said with a shrug.

Kat shook her head, chuckling slightly at his misunderstanding. "No, being a prefect doesn't scare me but graduating does." she admitted. She across at the boy as he asked why she left school. "I don't mind." she said honestly. "I left to spend time with my mother. She didn't teach here then. She got the job once I transferred back in." she explained, not getting into the long drawn out story. Katheryn burst out in laughter as he said that she could have worked with her brother. She shook her head. "I don't mean to be rude and laughing but you probably have heard of my sister." she said, calming her laughter. "If you are from the muggle world, you would know her as Kiera Kingsley. Olympic Gymnast, three gold medals. So obviously I couldn't follow that career choice." she said shaking her head. "But if you are from the wizarding world, you would know her as Kiera Potter, married to James Potter and chaser for the Holyhead Harpies." she explained. Kat paused a moment to think. "I might play Quidditch but I think I will probably go try to be on Broadway in New York City." she admitted sheepishly. Kat hadn't even shared that dream with her boyfriend yet. "Oh, my mother's name is Jacqueline Black."[/b

"That's cool how she was a head girl. A top student I presume?" said Hamza. One of Hamza's goals was to be one of the top students at hogwarts with top grades and being an exceptional wizard as well. "I'm trying my best to be the best at everything I do, that includes studies and being powerful." said Hamza with a smile. Hamza wasn't worried that he wouldn't make any friends. He had already made a few friends that he was pretty close with. "Don't worry, I've already got a few friends that I'm close with, but I don't see them very often because I'm always busy studying." said Hamza. Hamza was very impressed at how her brother competed for the Triwizard tournament that was held at Hogwarts. "Very nice, I'm guessing he was a very powerful wizard and did pretty well in the tournament?" said Hamza. Hamza always found it interesting to hear about other people's life stories, the stories gave him inspiration. "Who is Cam? I'm guessing he's your brother? He may know my father." said Hamza with a smile.

"Hmm, I suppose graduating can bring some daunting fears." said Hamza. "I suppose graduating means that you will be leaving your friends behind, a once home behind, and many other things that are close to you." said Hamza. Hamza could understand why Katheryn was a little scared to graduate, but didn't completely understand, since Hamza would have to be a 7th year to understand the situation fully. "Spending time with your mother? That reminds me of the times I've spent with my mother." said Hamza who then started to imagine the good times he spent with his mother. Hamza then was startled at how hard Katheryn was laughing. "Yes, I believe I have heard about Kiera Potter and James Potter." said Hamza with a smile. "It's interesting how Quidditch can be a career and a fun experience at the same time." said Hamza. Hamza then started to think about next year when he would try out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and hopefully get on the team. "I'm most likely will be trying out for the Quidditch team next year. I will probably have a Scarlet Streak with me as well." said Hamza with a smile. To Hamza, money wasn't a problem at all since his father was a very rich man. "Professor Black? I have Transfiguration with her I believe. Awesome Professor I must say. I learn a lot from her lessons." said Hamza with a smile. "Do you come to visit your mother often?" said Hamza.

Kat nodded her head at Hamza's first question. She always had felt she couldn't measure up to her older sister. "Yeah she's a bit of a perfectionist. She always had learn as much as she could about everything." she said shaking her head with good humor. Kiera was hard to live with but she did love her sister. "Yes, the Potters are my family." she said. The way Hamza talked, he sounded very much like a young Kiera. Too ambitious. Katheryn laughed. "Yeah sorry, I guess I should have made that clear. My brother's name is Cameron." she explained. "He was winning before they had to cancel the tournment. He is quite proficent at magic. He's powerful." she said proudly.

Katheryn nodded her head. "I would say so. Its hard to decided what you want to do for the rest of your life." she admitted. "A lot of it will depend on what Jake decides to do." she said, knowing that she couldn't bear to be too away from her boyfriend. Kat's face lit up as they talked about Quidditch. "I love the sport. Its really great." she said smiling. "You should definitely try out. Which position would you want?" she asked curiously. Katheryn nodded her head. "I'm sure you do have her. She teaches on the first years." Kat told him. She grinned at the compliment to her mother. She would have to tell her that when she did go inside the office. "Oh yes, I do. At least once a week if not more." she said.

"Yea, I know perfectionists are, one of my sisters is the same way." said Hamza. Hamza remembered how one of his sisters had to be perfect at everything for her to be satisfied, it sometimes bugged him, but he loved his sister anyways. "No matter how much a brother or sister may bug their sibling, the other sibling still loves them." said Hamza with a smile. Hamza was glad to know that she was from the Potters family. "Cameron? That's pretty cool." said Hamza. "Sounds like Cameron is a very powerful wizard. Looks like when I graduate from here, I'll have to pay Cameron a visit and have a friendly duel with him." said Hamza with a small chuckle.

"Yea, it maybe kind of hard right now to decide since you are still in school, but then again, sooner or later, you'll have to make a decision." said Hamza with a smile on his face. "Jake? I'm guessing he is your boyfriend?" said Hamza. Hamza wouldn't be surprised if Katheryn said yes since he beautiful girl like her wouldn't stay single. Hamza then started to think about the position he would want to play on the Quidditch team. "I really don't know what position I would want to play. Maybe a seeker? I'm going to get the Scarlet Streak soon, probably from my father." said Hamza with a smile. "Now that I think about it, I do have her as my Professor. She's very nice and friendly." said Hamza. "It's good to see you visit your mother often, I haven't seen my mother yet." said Hamza looking down at the ground.

Katheryn nodded her head with understanding as he said he had a sister the same way. She grinned. "I do love her but she annoys me to death. She's got this dumb nickname that she and Cam both call me and I just can't get them to stop." she said shaking her head. Katheryn hated it when they called her kitty. It sounded like they were calling a furry animal. Kat shook her head. "Good luck with that." she said laughing. "Cam is brilliant and only getting better and better with magic at his job." she said, finding it hard that anyone could beat him.

Katheryn listened to his words with chargin. She would have to decide eventually and she had no idea how to decide. "I just hope I pick the right one." she said, pursing her lips. She was going to have a lot of thinking to do about that one. Katheryn nodded her head at his question, her face turning into a soft expression. She was head over heels for Jacob whether he knew it or not. "Yeah, he's my boyfriend. He's a Slytherin seventh year." she said, knowing that Hamza probably didn't know who Jake was. "Oh yeah? The streaks are great brooms. I have one myself." she nodded. "Ive never played seeker. Only chaser and keeper." she mused. Kat didn't know how she would do at that position. Katheryn just smiled as he talked about her mother. It was odd that a woman who was a Death Eater could fool the children so easily. But then again, Jacqueline was supposed to be done with all of that according to her stepdad.

Hamza agreed with Katheryn on how annoying siblings can be. "Yea, I understand you. I love my sisters as well, but they sure can be annoying a lot of the times." said Hamza with a small chuckle. Hamza was wondering if there was a nickname people called her. "Interesting thought, do you have a nickname?" said Hamza with a smile. Hamza always showed good determination and was not the type of person who sat in the stands cheering other people, he liked to be a part of everything. "I'll be looking forward to the moment I meet him. If anything, I might actually beat him." said Hamza with a small chuckle. There weren't many people that knew about Hamza's secrets and his family secret's related to power, so a lot of the times, there were people that underestimated their family, and were taught that hard way. Although Hamza was going to consider Cameron a good friend instead of having him as a rival, seeing the age difference.

"Yea, when the time comes, I know you'll make the right decision." said Hamza with a smile. When it came to making important decisions, Hamza always took his time to making the right decision so he doesn't regret anything later. "Awesome, that's good to hear." said Hamza with a smile. Hamza noticed that she said her boyfriend was in Slytherin, that reminded Hamza on Xavier. "You know, one of my best friends is in Slytherin, he's a first year student, and he's dating a Hufflepuff girl, and they are engaged as well." said Hamza. "Yea, I really want one of the streaks, they are awesome brooms from what I hear. Maybe sometime later you can show me your broom?" said Hamza. Hamza did not actually have a chance to see the Scarlet Streak with his own eyes, or when someone is flying on it. "So, what else are you up to these days?" said Hamza with a smile. Hamza move himself into a better position because his back was starting to hurt.

Katheryn nodded her head in agreement. She smiled coyly as he asked if she had a nickname. "Well most people call me Kat. You may to if you like." she allowed. Kat didn't mind anyone calling her that. Nor did she mind Jake calling her Red. That was all in good fun. It was the other nickname she got annoyed with. "Kiera and Cameron call me Kitty though I hate it. They think its funny." she said dryly. "For the life of me I can not get them to stop." she said shaking her head. As Hamza said he might beat Cam, she just smiled politely. Her family should not be underestimated. Kiera had already faced an incredibly dark presence and lived to tell the tale. Blood should be taken into account too. They were all of the Burke line through their mother. Abeit, it was old and dark magic.

Katheryn was flabbergasted as he said he had friends who were first years and engaged! Her jaw dropped. "What?" she asked, wondering if she heard correctly. "Your friends are engaged?" she repeated. It was hard to swallow. She was not much of the same person that she had been as a first year. Many people changed and grew apart as they grew up. Katheryn nodded her head at his question. "Sure. I don't mind. We can meet down at the pitch sometime and you can try it. I think I still have Kiera's streak as well..." she thought to herself, frowning slightly. Kiera had been given as special broom when she joined the Holyhead Harpies. "Oh nothing really. Just school work and quidditch along with my Prefect duties." Kat said with a smile on her pretty face. "What about yourself?" she asked in return.

Hamza thought Kat was a pretty good nickname, so he thought that he should begin to call her Kat. Hamza did get a side feeling that he had just met Katheryn, so he hoped that she wouldn't mind if he called her Kat. "I know we just met and all, but you wouldn't mind if I called you Kat would you? It's ok i you don't want me to, I mean after all, we just met." said Hamza. Hamza didn't think Kitty was a bad nickname either, but then again, if someone was to call him a kitty, he would be upset as well. "Yea, being at the end of calling someone a nickname doesn't help much, but when you're at the end where you're being called the nick name, then you feel how annoying it gets." said Hamza. Hamza then remembered his times in the muggle world when his sisters and his muggle friends would call him Ham. "Although I know how you feel. When I use to live in the Muggle world, some of my muggle friends and my sisters use to call me Ham. Ham? I mean come on, there are many better nicknames out there than that." said Hamza with emphases. "Well, have you asked Cameron and Kiera to stop in a nice manner? I mean, I asked some of my muggle friends in a nice manner and they appreciated the way I asked, so they stopped calling me, but for the rest of them, they had to learn the hard way." said Hamza with a smile and he gave a wink to Katheryn.

As soon as Hamza said that Xavier was engaged, he saw her jaw drop. Hamza then started to laugh hard and he grabbed his stomach. "Yea, they are both engaged. Xavier is in Slytherin and his fiancee is in Hufflepuff." said Hamza with a smile. "I'm not sure if you know who Eleona is? She's a first year Hufflepuff student. They get along great from what I know." said Hamza. Hamza then remembered Xavier telling him that he proposed for them to get engaged simply because he was afraid to lose her. "Well, the way Xavier proposed as a bit odd. He got into a fight with Eleona because he cheated on him with another guy while Xavier and her were dating. So he got angry, Eleona tried to make up to him. So in the end, he proposed an engagement between them two and Eleona greed. That's what I heard from Xavier. Although a part of the story I saw myself through Xavier's and mine connection with out mind, body and heart." said Hamza with a smile. Hamza then smile in happiness when Kate agreed to show him her broom and perhaps Kieran's broom as well at the Quidditch Pitch. "Awesome, I can't wait to see your broom. I'm not too sure about Riding it though. I've learned how to ride a broom from my father, he taught me how to fly it when I was little, but I have yet to try it myself because I haven't learned it from a Professional yet." said Hamza with a smile. "That reminds me, the flying professor is my uncle from my mom's side. His name is Professor Rais Hussain." said Hamza feeling proud. "I haven't been doing much, just keeping up with all my classes, doing Homework so I don't fall behind. Speaking of Homework, I'm all caught up right now." said Hamza with a smile. "Prefect duties? Do you mind sharing what kind of Prefect duties you have? If you don't mind that is." said Hamza.

Katheryn laughed and shook her head. "You are more than welcome to call me Kat. I don't mind at all." she said, grinning back at the younger boy. She listened to Hamza as he talked about the nickname he despised. Kat had to admit that that nickname was worse than hers. She shook her head with sympathy in her eyes. "That's horrible though at least they stopped." she said. Katheryn's jaw dropped as he asked her if she had tried to talk to Kiera and Cam. She snorted. "You can't talk to them. Stubborn as Mules they are." she said rolling her eyes. "They are both annoying beyond belief. It's their talent."

Katheryn shook her head at his question. "Nope. I haven't met Eleona." she said before he continued with the rest of his story. She thought it was crazy for someone to get engaged to a cheater. Once a cheater always a cheater in her opinion. But hey, if it made them happy then that was all that mattered right? Kat had always been open minded and not easily bothered. She smiled at him. "I don't mind teaching you how to fly if you like. I've been on the Quidditch team since my first year." she said with a smile. "As for Prefect duties, I just have to make sure the rules are enforced and to help younger students. Rule breakers get turned into their heads of house for punishment." she said with a shrug. It wasn't too hard but a bit time consuming.

Hamza smiled as Katheryn allowed him to call her Kat as a nickname. He started to chuckle as Katheryn said that it was horrible for them to call him Ham. "Indeed, it was horrifying, but granted that they did stop, and the love for my friends and family always increased no matter how much I was teased." said Hamza fiddling and looking towards his hands. Hamza remembered the time when he was in muggle school, the day had not been going good for him and one of his friend's called him Ham. Hamza went up to his friend and slapped him in the face hard. Realizing what he had done, he went to his friend and apologized, but the love from his friends towards him never stopped. "You know, I always keep a close connection with all of my friends, like make them my family, share the love, you know? That way, I am never alone or never feel alone." said Hama looking towards the ceiling. Hamza listened as Katheryn went on about saying that you can't talk to them properly because they are stubborn and that it was their talent. "Well, you know I can related to that." said Hamza nodding in agreement with Katheryn. "But no matter how much someone close to you annoys you, you still love them anyways." said Hamza with an innocent face and a smile.

"Maybe you should meet her, well, she is a first year and you are a high class student, I doubt you would have any time." said Hamza with a small chuckle. Hamza smiled as Katheryn agreed to teach him how to fly, but one thing puzzled him. He was told that first years cannot be on the Quidditch team, so how was Katheryn able to play on the Quidditch team as a first year student. "I'm happy that you agreed to teach me, but there is one thing puzzling me," Hamza adjusted his position and continued, "You have been on the Quidditch team since your first year? I thought first year students were not allowed to be on the Quidditch team until their second year?" said Hamza with a puzzled face. Though it was puzzling for Hamza, he continued to listen to Katheryn about her duties as a Prefect, which to Hamza sounded like a hard, but an good experience role.
