It had nearly been a year since Rhiannon had been in new zealand. over that year she had not been sitting on her backside. she had spent until october studying like mad in order to graduate from her muggle high school with high marks. after not getting quite the marks that she needed to be a healer she wasn't going to loose her second chance so now she was studying again. this time it was university, the university of tasmania. this semester had been a mixture of hospital pracs. we labs and pathology lectures. today had been the last day of er exams. her least favourite subject. academic writing and statistics. the statistics were okay, but the academic writing was hard. she had bene used to hands on subjects at hogwarts. and had never liked writing essays but she had worked through it and was now looking forward to the holidays. whilst most of her colleagues were spending the afternoon with friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, having lunch or shopping she, had never yet quite fit into any groups. she had classmates, lab partners. but never spoke to them about anything other than assignments, deadlines and things like that. the main reason she was not gotten along with most of them was that she wasn't like most of the other students. she had a big secret, she was a witch. so instead of joining the other students in their leisure time. Instead she found a secret space in a store room at the back of an empty lecture theatre ad turned on the spot and the next step she was walking along the sunny street of obsidian harbour. where shows heading sure she had an idea, even though it was the middle of winter she fancied ice-cream, but she was happy to take a couple of detours. such as stopping in the apothecary to get some potions supplies, and get a couple of new books from the book shop including the latest works from sapphire bookchild. as she meandered along the street she remembered all the other times she had walked before. the good days, the bad days, the first days and the more recent ones and she wondered if and of her fiends from school were near by, and how her friends were.
