Simone has always had a bit of a rebellious streak, that has gotten worse as shes gotten older. But seems to have settled into a love of adventure and anything that would make a good story. She has trouble making meaningful connections with people and tends to keep people a safe distance away with her easy going attitude. But when she does let people in it's for life. She loves her friends fiercely and believes that friends are the family you choose, because family can often be very disappointing. She's smart but finds school pointless and a bore, it also doesn't help that she has a blatant disregard for authority. Simone is bit aimless, and feels like shes just biding her time till the next thing comes along.

As a family they split their year between Paris and New York until she turned 11 and started school at Ilvermorny. But unfortunately her parents got divorced during her second year due to an affair on her father's part. She didn't take the split well and it was rather ugly at home as well, with her parents fighting constantly as things played out. Simone ended up siding with her mother and decided to transfer to Beauxbatons to be closer to her once she moved to Paris permanently to be with her family. Simone rarely goes to New York anymore, only the occasional visit to see her father when she has to.
