The semester had just started, but considering this was her OWLs year, Hinata didn't think it was a bad idea to start studying early on. She was not the best at academics, but she was determined to do her best once the exams rolled around. It also helped that she would perhaps be meeting her friend of sorts in the library today. They didn't really talk to each other much except murmured responses to whatever thing they were reading whenever they both found themselves in the same area, which happened more and more frequently as they grew older. Hinata was still too shy to initiate interaction, though, fearful that it might shatter the shaky friendship she had with them. As she continued going through her Ancient Runes book to prepare for the class, she couldn't help but feel distracted, frequently looking up from her book and examining the occupants of the library. After the sixth time she had done this, she heaved a big sigh, closed her textbook, and opened a different book - this one was part of the fiction section of the library. Perhaps she needed a distraction from her distraction otherwise she was never going to get anything done.
