Danika threw her head back and laughed as she watched the second year girl scurry out from beneath her. "That should teach you to steal from me you little pipsqueak." She said as she looked behind her at her crowd of 'so called' friends. "And that ladies, is how you deal with a rat" She giggled as she returned her wand to its original place in her pocket. The halls of Durmstrang were littered with students Danika had tortured. Though she had to admitt all this torturing and fighting with the younger students was beginning to annoy the golly out of her. One day she was going to stop all her nastiness, and then she would actually try to make friends. Besides, veela's weren't supposed to be nasty were they.

"Hey Johanna, have you seen Declan?" She asked one of her friends as she proceeded to pick up her books from the ground. They were her class textbooks and although she was a b*tch, it didn't mean she wouldn't do her classwork. Infact, she was really quite studious.

Declan was snooping around the corridors, something he did often. Not because he was curious or anything just because he could. Declan didn’t have many friends, in fact he was sure he didn’t have any friends. Why didn’t a charming young veela have friends? Because this charming young veela had a not so charming older sister. Danika Lesley was one horrible person; she was rude and snide to everyone, even her own baby brother.

To make matters worse when Declan first came to Durmstrang he accidently cursed a student, he didn’t even know that what he was mumbling was a really spell that would cause harm but apparently it was a harmful spell that nearly got him kicked out of Durmstrang, on his first day!

So when Declan came up to a crowd of people he wiggled his way through, knowing what was going on. Chances are Danika was going bananas and attacking some student. Declan tried not to intervene and just kept his distance from his sister. But when his name was said he had to turn around, god only knew who it could be. Maybe the sixth year he poured pumpkin juice on had found out that Declan was the culprit. But when Declan discovered that it was much worse than an angry sixth year, it was his sister. “Danika!” He said, faking happiness. “How nice it is to see you,” He continued. “Well this was nice but I really should be going now.” He finished, walking off to the outside.

Danika rounded on her brother as she heard his voice. She smiled sweetly at him and held her hands outstretched. This was ofcourse natural behaviour for her. When in the company of her friends she would play nice that way it was Declan whom appeared to be the mean one. She was always looking for more ways to piss her brother off, Though it was nice that he had not yet figured this particular trick out. She stepped forward slightly in an attempt to hug Declan. "So brother, how has your day been" She asked nicely as she looked at him kindly.

Danika had to be the best actor in the world. The truth was that Danika loved to hate her brother, but it wasn't actually that she hated him, rather it was that she was bored and had nothing to do, so she would resort to picking on her baby brother, wasn't that what all older sibings did? Especialy in the muggle world. She had once read a text that said that muggle siblings had what they called a love/hate reltionship. Which is what she liked to think she and Declan had.

Declan frowned when Danika tried to hug him, Danika would always hug Declan and whisper something mean to him or pull his hair very hard and it really hurt. So Declan took a step back when Danika took a step forward, she was not going to hug him, not this time. Declan was oblivious to the fact that he looked like the bad brother and Danika appeared to be the caring sister. “Great till now...” He said sadly. Though what he said sounded very mean Declan had every right to express how horrible his day had suddenly turned at the realisation that Danika was bored and Declan was the only thing she could pick on.

“Danika could you not do this I need to do stuff,” He pleaded, looking at the crowd of girls behind his sister; they were all glaring at him. Why are they glaring at me?! He thought. It wasn’t like he was the villain, or was it? No, Declan could not see how he could possibly look like the villain, he was the victim after all.
