The air was warm, the city beautiful, and the smell of the harbour so clean. Wynne was certain she'd never get used to the way New Zealand compared to Brazil, but the girl would try. With bags in hand she couldn't help but feel weary after shopping for her first wand, her robes, adn books. Nashira had taken her but dumped her off, saying she'd need to learn how to handle herself. This of course meant the heavy bags were hers to carry alone, and so she did just that. The dark haired girl decided that halfway through her list she would take a break, sit down, and maybe think about getting food if she had enough. Looking around she noticed then just how crowded things were with the impending school year. Glancing around she looked for a bench that was mostly unoccupied and approached. "May I sit?" She inquired politely, a large smile spread across her face, narrowing her almond eyes.

Obsidian harbor was always busy in the time of year when students of all ages were buying their school supplies and the first years were buying their first wands. It overwhelmed Flavio to say the least which was the reason he often excused himself from the busy shops and streets to sit on a bench and have a breather. He was more used to New Zealand than he had been the previous year, but interacting with shopkeepers in English and being told to repeat himself due to his heavy accent was akin to returning to square one as it diminished any confidence he once had in his second language. He sighed before running a hand through his hair and pulling the bags containing the few things he managed to buy closer to him. Pia was around somewhere and he wished she would find him and save him from the madness soon as he could hardly handle the stress. He was hopeful that a voice asking to sit would have been Pia but it was too different and more youthful so instead of looking up to the person he simply nodded, saying "Yeah, you can sit. I am not in a good mood right now. Sorry." to ensure the person his actions were not out of rudeness though he felt as if he seemed that way regardless of his apology.

Wynne looked at the boy with an oddly confused expression. The family she came from didn't allow such emotional conflict past their lips unless it was happy emotions or anger. The family she came from was very verbose with their anger. Wynne took her seat setting things on the ground by her feet in their little bags. "What's wrong?" She asked, the Brazilian accent thick in her voice, not befitting of her appearances it seemed. Her voice did not carry, she whispered instead as if it was a secret that he may tell her next.

Flavio should have expected that telling someone he wasn't in a good mood would rouse questions. But he was too annoyed and overwhelmed by his surroundings and instead seemed slightly surprised that the girl who sat next to him was asking him what was wrong, let alone keeping her words hushed. It seemed incredibly genuine of her which he would have usually found refreshing but in that moment it made him more skeptical than anything. "Um. It is nothing. Do not worry." He said, gaze averting from where they were trained to the ground to the bags at the girl's feet. With a need to change the subject from how insecure and uncomfortable he felt while shopping for his school supplies he soon asked, "What did you buy?", hoping the girl wouldn't prod him further about his mood and instead make small talk with him.
