It seemed like Spencer had been growing out of his clothes every other week. Arisa knew toddlers tended to grow up, but just how fast she had no idea. It made her a little sad sometimes. So after a play date with Ellie, and Lysander, Spencer was deep in nap mode. Arisa decided to take advantage of the situation, and run to the store to go look at clothes. He was just getting to the age where he would rather do anything then go try on outfits one more time much to the healer's dismay. Shopping was one of her favorite pass times, but it seemed like very soon she would be getting to do it much less. She did not want to be the mother who was dragging a screaming child through a store ruining the day for everyone. Although when she looked down at the sleeping boy in the stroller she knew she would get over it very quickly. Anytime she got to spend with Spencer was time well spent. After picking out a few new shirts, and pants Arisa couldn't help but wander from the toddler section of the store over to the baby one. She knew she wouldn't be needing the tiny little clothes for a very long time, if ever again, but she loved to look at them. They were all so adorable. Embarrassingly enough Arisa found herself tearing up a little. She had been remembering those first few months she had with her son. She had been off work, and everyday was a struggle to learn something new. There were some things that nine months worth of reading baby books couldn't teach you. Arisa wouldn't have changed it for anything though. Spencer was one of the very best things to ever happen to her. Quickly she wiped away the tears not wanting to cause a scene. Thank-fully the store was relatively empty at this time of day with only a few other people shopping.

Sorry it's short my muse just wasn't working with me >_<

Kate always looked forward to the weekend. She was finding the work load in school increasingly harder. Baby infants are not an easy class to teach. She loved every single one of them and they were lovely and adorable but they could also be loud, messy and giddy. She also liked to keep them fairly busy which meant she was busy getting work for them and correcting any of their work. It was important to instil a work ethic in them while they were young so it carried on into their later years. But she had to balance that with fun. After a certain point, they would have to focus solely on their school work and it would be like that for many years. For the majority of these students they would attend a muggle secondary school but there could be a few here that were muggle-borns and would get their letter from Hogwarts when they were eleven. It was scary to think that in a few years time, she would have a child in school. She could even be teaching them. It was such a strange concept but she was looking forward to it. She put a hand on the barely visible bump that had appeared in the last few weeks. She didn't really notice it unless she walked passed a mirror. She had provisionally bought some more suitable clothing so that when her clothes became too tight she wouldn't be stuck. As it was, today she was wearing a new dress and a comfy pair of shoes. She had decided that it was time they bought some things for the baby. They didn't know the sex but it was no harm buying a few items of clothing and when Stefan had the time, they two of them could go shopping for the bigger things such as a buggy or cot. There was so much to do and Kate was feeling the stress. She was also getting sick often and she was nearly always tired. She was also worried about the baby inside her. She was terrified something would happen that would harm their life. For all she knew that horrible luck she and Stefan had endured for many years could return. She didn't want to tell Stefan any of these worries as she knew he was worried enough as it was. Poor Sara was always so busy so she just felt she couldn't say this to anyone.

Today however she would not let her worries dampen her spirits. She couldn't believe she was actually buying baby clothes. When she was younger, whenever she passed the baby clothes section she had always looked at the clothes she would dress her own baby in. Now she would actually be buying the clothes. Once she had everything she apparated into town and began looking for the right shop. Soon she found the one she was looking for and tentatively she walked in. She almost felt like she shouldn't be in here. She sometimes still had to get her head around the fact she was pregnant and there was another human being growing inside her. She pushed her nerves aside and began browsing. Soon she had a small pile of clothes in the basket she had acquired. She was starting to enjoy herself. She had even marked things to look at with Stefan when he came shopping with her. The nerves were still here as she was alone and still kind of felt out of place but she had warmed up to the idea more. She was walking down an ailse when out of the corner of her eye she saw a woman tearing up. Kate instantly wondered what was wrong. She hoped this woman hadn't lost a baby and was thinking "what if" looking at the clothes. She knew it wasn't her place but she couldn't just leave the woman like this, especially since she couldn't even imagine losing her own baby. "Hey, sorry to bother you.."She started quietly walking to the woman "but is everything okay?"She finished

You're fine, don't worry!

Arisa turned towards the girl who came and spoke to her. "Oh I'm sorry. Yeah I'm fine. Just being silly and nostalgic. Kids, they do that to you." Arisa said giving her a warm smile. She quickly folded the tiny dress, and put it back on the table. Arisa picked up the still sleeping Spencer from his buggy, and hugged him close. The toddler stirred a little, but stayed asleep. "This little guy has made me more emotional then I ever thought I could be. Hormones I guess." She said before kissing the top of his head. Arisa smiled softly. He still had that amazing baby smell. "Oh I should introduce myself. I'm Arisa, and this is Spencer. He's a little over a year old." Arisa shifted Spencer's weight a little so she could reach out, and shake the other woman's hand. "What about you? Have any kids of your own?" she asked. Arisa hadn't seen another stroller around, but she always enjoyed chatting with other moms. Working in St. Mungos she was always around moms, and pregnant women, but she didn't like getting too close with her patients. It made it harder if she ever had to give them bad news. It also made friends a little hard to come by. If she wasn't at work she was probably at home, or running errands.
