Jaedan was sitting on a bench in the courtyard, the wind blowing her dark brown curly hair. She was hunched over a book, bit she want reading. She was too busy thinking of Will and What Happened In The Gardens A Few Weeks before. Her cheek was still red and stinging. And what was worse, it was in front of Ryan, Damielle, Alice, George... All the people she knew.

Thinking of what happened, she bit into her knuckles, unknowingly and tears shed. She remembered what Will, her dead brother said, Shedding Tears Is Nothing To Be Ashamed Of. She wished it was Nick who died and not Will.

Crying, and bleeding, she stared into space.

Fayt was bored, and being bored means that he would have a lot of time thinking about the past events that had happened in his life. Just a few weeks ago, he had happened to eavesdrop without meaning too, in a conversation that involves some of the students that he knew. He doubt that they were able to know that he was there anyway, and he was not intending nor planning to ever tell them about that. He went there uninvited, and surely, what he did was rather inappropriate.

Nevertheless, everything that he had heard had continued to bug him for the past few days, there was just something wrong about it that he cannot exactly point out. "Where is Gabrylle when I needed her?" He muttered, frowning. Ever since they had attended Hogwarts, he had not gotten to talk with his twin, and honestly, it was irritating him so much.

Sighing to himself, he had not noticed that he was already walking into the school's courtyard. He had not planned to get there, really, being bored makes him do things that he had not really intended to do. Sighing once again, he scanned his surrounding, only to find a familiar person sitting on the bench that was not too far away from him. She was someone that he hadn't exactly gotten along with before, but seeing her cry just like that, he felt rather awkward then. Deciding not to say a thing, he suioted himself to just sit under a large tree, shading himself from the blazing sun.

Jaedan saw Fayt walk past her, looking at her. She wiped her eyes and looked at her bleeding hand. She temporally ignored it. "Hey," she darted, approaching him nervously. "Do you remember me?" she asked him.

She thought about what happened at the Gardens. Of course Nick had slapped her and her cheek was still flame red and aching, but she remembered someone speaking parseltongue. Was it him? she asked herself.

Fayt raised an eyebrow when the said girl had just approached him. Now that he had looked at her more carefully, she had seemed to be rather...wounded. Not that he would actually say something about it, it was not him to do such thing. "I do remember who you are. Jaedan, am I right?" He said fatly, remembering the not so good encounter that they had had before. Jaedan's twin was a slytherin, just like him, and truth to be told, he didn't like him that much, hopefully, this girl wasn't as annoying as him then.

Jaedan sat opposite Fayt. She had a twinkle in her eye like she was hiding something. "Look I was wondering if we could maybe start over? I was snappy when we met and I'm sorry for that...it's just...I'm going through a tough time right now with Nick and I just need someone to talk too." she pleaded at him, her eyes big and glazed. She really liked Fayt, why didn't he see that?

Jaedan sighed. "I've been meaning to gie you something anyway." Jaedan rummaged through her bag when she found something. It was a sketch of Fayt when he was talking to a snake. Jaedan was watching him that day. She was a brilliant artist and the picture was outstanding. She handed it to him.

Turning to look at Jaedan more properly, Fayt was a bit confused by the sudden change of attitude. The last time they met, she was just too arrogant and well, annoying in his opinion, yet at the moment, she was just as frail and fragile as a china doll. "Don't apologize..it's annoying." He said, he never did like it when someone apologizes to him. In his opinion, when a person does something, then he should be responsible enough to live up to it, not just apologize like what the others normally do. "You can talk all you like, but I can't promise that I would listen." He then added flatly, he was not being mean or anything, just that, those harsh words come off naturally from him, and of course, he was not exactly the type who is good in hearing others problems, but since she had sought his help out, he wouldn't just push her away then.

Fayt was surprised when he saw what it was that Jaedan had given him. He had never expected that she had seen him doing that. Really, how careless can he be? "When have you drawn this?" He asked incredulously, frowning. He had not even thanked her yet,, but at the moment, all he ever wanted to know was when she had seen him using that 'strange' ability of his.

Jaedan looked away, biting her lip. "Umm, November. she muttered. She didn't want Fayt thinking she was a stalker. She faced him. "I wont tell, I promise! I swear on my life!" she quickly said.

"I'll even tell you something about me if it makes you feel better!" she hurried.

"November?" Fayt asked, raising an eyebrow, trying to remember whether he had seen her during that month, but failing in doing so. Sighing, he decided that he would just let it be that way, it's not like he could change what it was that had occurred already, right? "You promise.. keep that promise, and don't ever break it. Got it?" Fayt said, he didn't like those people who lie, and honestly, he hoped that she wouldn't do the same thing. He wouldn't really appreciate it if him, being a parselmouth would be known around the school, he was keeping it a secret, yet it seemed like more and more people were discovering it, and it was rather annoying. "What will you tell me?" He then asked, albeit a little curious to what it was that she would say, he was bored anyway, so sparing some time here wouldn't hurt that much.

Jaedan sighed. "If Nick finds out I told you I'm dead, but, When I was 5, Nick beat me up so much I was hospitalized for 2 months." she stated, eyes watering. She decided if Fayt was going to trust her, she'd tell him more. "My dad has been missing for 10 years. I have a crush on an arrogant Slytherin boy who is Friends with a majority of my friends."

Jaedan looked away from Fayt, embarrassed. She had a crush on Fayt.

"When you were 5? Then that makes him.. 5 as well, right You're twin was pretty... messed up." Fayt said, frowning. Really, he just can't imagine how much strength as well as violence could be contained in such a young child by then. even he himself, when he was just too young to go to school, yes, he had been emotionless and rather cold, but he never did act that violently, Fayt was, after all, not a person who was into physical violence. "Have you been looking for him?" He then asked, she was like him then, though in his case, his real parents weren't missing, they left him and his twin in an orphanage for adoption, the reason why he had never intended to actually look for then or even know who they really were. He raised an eyebrow when he heard about that slytherin boy, he was curious, but he decided not to actually ask about that thing, he was not really interested about those by now anyways.

"When Nick was five, he was the size of a seven hear old. I was the size of a four year old.". Jaedan looked at her lap. When he mentioned er dad, Jaedan shot up. "Yes! Of course!" she said to him. She looked at when when he raised his eyebrow at her mention of a Slytherin boy. "He is special and really cute, his arrogant, has blonde/ brown hair and has the cutesy eyes." she described for him.

"You're looking for him.. for what? How long." Fayt said, he cannot see any point on why she was still looking for her father, but then again, it might not be her father's choice to leave them, unlike his parents who had chosen to abandon them. Once again, Fayt raised an eyebrow when Jaedan continued to talk about this 'guy' that she like. He was not really asking about it, but since she had started talking about it, he just decided that he would listen. "He's arrogant, so why would you like him then?" He said, yawning. From his past encounters with the other students around the school, they weren't really that much into arrogant students, much less, a Slytherin, so it was such a wonder how come that JAedan had fallen for such a guy.

Jaedan rolled her eyes. "He was taken by death eaters." her face dropped as she looked at the ground. "Besides, I never got to meet him. I guess i never will. Agh! That just reminded me of Will!" she tipped her head back so much she fell to the floor.

As she was lying down you could a few of the bruises she had on her legs and arms. It wasnt a pretty sight.

Fayt looked at Jeadan with utmost curiosity. They weren't as similar as he had thought then. Jeadan's father had been missing by chance, she had not been abandoned, when in his case, it was by his parents' choice. "I never did remember who my real parents are.. but I don't really care. But on your situation, you'll meet him again, one day, just don't stop hoping for it." Fayt wasn't really the type to comfort someone else, he's not really that good in it, it was only his sister that he had gotten to comfort that much, but when it comes to others, he was as cold and as emotionless as a stone.

Looking down at her as she laid herself down, Fayt had had a glimpse of the bruises that she had had probably gotten from her twin. "Won't you defend yourself?" He said flatly, just a bit curious as to why she had put up with her twin brother's physical abuses.

Jaedan quickly sat up and covered the bruises. "I....He....Actually....I can't." she explained. "I don't know how." she looked at Fayt with daggers in her eyes. "Why do you care?! You hate me! You hate me and you are probably helping Nick hurt me!" she looked down at the grass and stood up.

A frown crossed Fayt's face when Jaedan began to have this sudden anger 'outburst', really, he didn't say anything that could have possibly offended her, did he? Deciding to not loose his temper by now, he took a deep breath. It seemed like he was just being misunderstood so easily by those that don't really have any idea of who he was, his choice of words were rather harsh after all, and so, it was not a wonder why he had always been into unnecessary troubles and arguments. "Suit yourself, if you think that I hate you, then so be it. He need not to explain himself to her, that was just not him, he's a person who had been easily judged anyways, and he was becoming to get used to it, becoming to get numb of all those words being spoken to him.

Jaedan stood there for a few seconds calming down before sitting a few meters away from Fayt and bought out her sketchbook and started sketching him. It was what she does to calm down and she loved sketching. She drew the hollow tree and all its branches and leaves twisting from the tips.

Then she moved onto Fayt, sketching out his skeleton first then adding all the details and rubbing out the skeleton.

An awkward silence filled the air after Jaedan's outburst and Fayt's statement. Actually, he had expected her to yell at him, but it seemed that she had changed since the last time that he had seen him, she was not as arrogant and as snappy as before it seemed. "What are you doing?" He said, sounding rather harshly as he saw her brought out something that looks like a sketch pad. He didn't really like being stared at or being watched, but he figured that saying anything about that would do him no good at all.

When Fayt spoke to her, she smirked. "Shhh." she said, before tearing out a piece of paper from her sketchpad that had Fayt on it. She wrote a little message on the back:

Fayt,

Sorry for my sudden outburst. Its from my illness, desfracsia. I hope we can be friends, but if not, Im sorry to hear that. My brother is meeting me in the dungeons tonight, Can you come? I dont want him hurting me again.

~ J. Feanor

She folded up the piece of paper and flicked it over to him. She weakly smiled at him. Fayt was nice deep down, you just needed to find and uncover the nice Fayt.

OOCOut of Character:
Hey Raze,

Im gonna make a topic for when her and Fayt meet up and talk. He can meet her outside the Puff common room or 3rd floor corridor? Or you can make it.

Once again, Fayut raised an eyebrow at Jaedan's actions, really, she was confusing him now, which he pretty much didn't like. Sighing for the nth time that day, he picked up the piece of paper that she had just passed unto him, unfolding it, he saw yet another sketch of him there. Not that he didn't like it actually, for the time that his twin had gave him a drawing of himself, it looked like a mess. Turning the paper to its back, he read the letter that she had just written there. He was once again, going to see a confrontation between two students that he knew, though this time, he would come invited unlike the last time. "My common room's in the dungeons anyways, so I guess that i'll have to pass by there."

Jaedan smiled. "Thanks. I'll need a friend- I mean someone there. Its at 11pm, Dungeon 11. You'll have to hide though, or until he's not in such an angry mood that he'll hurt you too. I'd hate that." she hurried when she accidently called Fayt friend. He'd hate that if she called him friend.

"Dont tell anyone! Especially Alice! She'll say dont go...and if I dont go, he'll just do it in public." she gave Fayt a cute pleading look. "Swear, Swear on your life you won't tell!"

It looked like Fayt had no other choice, he had just given her his word and he had to live up to it, he had to be there even though now that he had heard it, it would actually be too late at night. They might be caught by some professors then, not that he care, but he wouldn't really like it if his adoptive parents would be notified about this late night venture of his. Yes, he was not really that fond of his adoptive parents, but even so, he still had that respect for them, and of course, he didn't want to actually disappoint them. "I won't tell anyone, you have my word.. I'm not lying." He said with a resigned look then, Fayt was not one to lie to other people, if there was one thing that he really hated, those are liars. He's not going to break his promise as much as he can keep it.

Jaedan looked at Fayt for a second. Mind if I ask you a question?"she asked him, but without even waiting for an answer, she said her question. "Why don't you trust me?" she asked him. Jaedan was a very trustworthy girl. Lots of people trusted her, but why didnt Fayt? It really confused her. "You know, you confuse me. You act so cold...why not open up? Let your heart of stone have some light? Trust people, you dont need to be so secretive, trust me." she gave Fayt eye contact. "Ive told you some of my deepest darkest secrets, I trust you, so trust me. she placed one of her small hands on Fayt's wrist, as a sign of trust. Jaedan was a small girl. Slightly under average height but in a cute way. So against Fayt, he was a giant.

Trust, that was one word that had never mean that much in Fayt's vocabulary. For him, it was not something that could be easily given away, if there was one thing that he holds so much, and something that he had never ever given to anyone, it was his trust. He never did like to feel the feeling of being betrayed once again, of being left alone, and so, he had grown to be wary of those people around him, to build these layers of walls all around him, protecting himself from the harshness of reality. Though he had this tough facade that he would always put on, Fayt was still a child deep inside, one that feared to be betrayed. "Trust you? I don't trust anyone Jaedan." He said flatly, moving his hand off Jaedan's. He had this obvious aversion to any unnecessary physical contact, and it was something that had pushed others away from him. There were just a few who had managed to put up with him after all, there was his adoptive parents, his twin, the very first friend that he had-Danielle. He was not making any effort to let anyone in in his world, though he was well aware that the more he spend his time in Hogwarts, the more it is that his walls would crumble down.

Jaedan sighed. "You'll have to trust someone at some point Fayt. C'mon, please...try....for me.....for your sister....for Alice. I know you 'like' her." she pouted a bit, before pulling a cute face of pleading. "Fayt, please, if you hate me or like me or whatever, just try, trust someone else, someone who likes you, someone who is differen, someone who is like you, having a tough life." she sighed again. "Why don't you trust me?" she took a deep breath. "if you dont trust me, then why are coming tonight? I want you to come, but why?"
