Seventh Years, Lesson Six

It was the last lesson of the semester for his seventh years and as with his fifth years James had no intention of adding to their burden other than to see his group again, possibly for the last time at least all together before they sat their exams and left the school for good. Once they had all taken their seats James waved his hand and the pile of papers moved from his desk to sit on the individual students desks. "Your test results from the previous lesson, you all did pretty well, keep up the good work. In that spirit, I want you to use this lesson to continue your exam prep, feel free to stay in here in which I ask you to keep the talking to a minimum, or otherwise you're free to leave the classroom and study somewhere more comfortable. It's been a pleasure to teach you this year and I wish you luck in your exams and in whatever you choose to do once you leave this place,"

Assignment: RP the lesson. Attendance post is fine for full marks.

Emery headed into the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom for the final lesson of the semester. He took his usual seat, giving a quick nod to Professor Cade as he received his test results. Seeing that he did well, Emery felt a bit relieved. When the professor mentioned using the lesson for exam prep, Emery decided to stay in the classroom to study. He studied his notes and the textbook until the hour was up. Then he left the classroom with his classmates.

Chaos Zhefarovich the Second sat quietly in his usual spot, his eyes narrowed in focus as he waited for Professor Cade to begin the final lesson of the semester. The seventh year knew that this was it - the last stretch before the N.E.W.T.s and the inevitable step into the larger wizarding world. When Professor Cade began to speak, Chaos knew what was coming. The pile of papers from their recent test floated over to each student, and Chaos caught his own with ease. He glanced down at the parchment, scanning over the results. As expected, his performance was strong. Cade's words about exam preparation didn’t surprise Chaos. Chaos, however, had no intention of lingering. He was not one for sentimentality or small talk. The sooner he could get back to his private study schedule, the better. He methodically packed away his things, slipping his test results into his bag without much effort He had already planned out a rigorous study session in the library, where he knew he could find the quiet and solitude he needed to concentrate, which he got up and left the classroom promptly.
