This was their last class before exams. Professor Lyra Potter was confident that her students would be able to do well on their NEWTs, well, most of them would be able to. She didn't have anyone in particular that she was worried about not passing. As she sat behind the desk, she prepared to grade and return their pages that day so they would be ready to go. They were not covering anything today that was taught this year, but she wanted to make sure they reviewed that on their own.
As soon as the class was there, Professor Potter stood and began the class with a smile on her face. "Today is your last Transfiguration class! You should be very proud. You have done something that no other students in this castle can claim. You have completed seven years of Transfiguration and are prepared to take the NEWT. Congratulations!" She made a wave with her hands and their previous work flew to the proper desks. "Your work from last week was excellent as always. You will be ready for anything that we throw at you on the NEWT." With a nod, she turned and picked up the last review stack. "I have one simple change for this week. I ask that you stay while I grade your paper so that you may have it for review. After you have your page back, you are free to go. I will see you all when you sit for your NEWTs in a week." Lyra handed the last paper out, then turned and made her way to her desk once again. Sitting down, she flipped through her quidditch magazine while waiting for students to finish.
