Set the world on fire

Toffee Delacroix was, as usual, in a good mood. It wasn't quite the end of the semester yet, but Toffee had finished her exams, so was making use of the snowy weather that Europe offered. Toffee loved the snow, it was cause for a lot of fun. Quite a few of the girls at Beauxbatons didn't enjoy getting their hair wet, or the coldness of the snow, but Toffee took advantage of every season. She supposed that was the reason why she didn't have many friends, she didn't fit in to any kind of group. But it didn't bother her, she was here to learn the most that magic could give her, even if it sucked sitting in a classroom all day.
It was Toffee's last year at Beauxbatons, and while she wasn't quite sure what she was going to do there, Toffee was adamant that she would be moving to L.A. The city of dreams, right? She was sure she'd fit in somewhere there. Toffee hugged her fur coat tightly as she headed outside, enjoying the cold breeze that embraced her.

After living in New Zealand for so long, Kendra Snow made the dire mistake of packing to attend Beauxbatons in the wrong attire. She was used to the summer when it was really winter in Europe. Being a female from France, how in the world could she have forgotten something so trivial? Hugging her red jacket close to her, she braced forth to hurry inside, not caring who she was hitting in the meantime. Oh she was going to have to get some winter clothing eventually, because this was just ridiculous. The castle itself was warm, but she was not counting on the snow to be this cold either. The last thing that she could do was to hurry inside, find some shelter and get some hot cocoa. However there was someone outside too that she bumped into. She forced an apology, "Sorry!" But she had to get inside. At least once she was inside, she wouldn't have to worry about getting frostbite or something. Opening the doors, she burst inside to defrost a bit. She shook her head and hoped that the girl she had so rudely bumped into would forgive her for being so rude. She just had to get inside in the warmth. What she really needed was a fur coat, one that would make her twice as big as what she actually was, until she could get her winter clothing up here. Kendra peeked out the window and she saw the girl. Trying to get her attention, Kendra waved for her to come inside so she could apologize formally. After all, running and yelling it was not very good at all. Not to Kendra. The Part-Veela paced inside, still shivering every now and again due to her mistake of forgetting the seasons were backward here. Oh well, she would get used to it eventually, right?
