After finally turning thirteen on the seventh of April, Wendy was feeling quite happy. She was beginning to finally loosen up out of her shell though was still considerably shy to those who didn't know her, which were many of course. The second year Gryffindor still didn't have many friends, but truthfully she wasn't bothered by it, for now at least. After taking a jog around the castle grounds wearing a white wifebeater and blue sweatpants, the Gryffindor girl stopped in the great lawn and collapsed onto the grass in exhaustion. Well she wasn't really exhausted, just needed to catch her breath. In her hands was a water bottle, which she quickly took a swig of after she sat upright. She began pulling her messy blonde hair into a ponytail as she looked around her and observed those around her.

Seth wasn't sure what was dragging him to the lawn today but something surely was. His white converses caring him through the corridors his eyes not concentrating on anything at all. He knew where he was headed outside. It was obvious. The reason as he could have thought hard and long was out of his mind all together. Opening the castle doors he continued on his way wearing a simple Seth outfit of blue jeans and a black tee. His blonde hair was slightly more messy than normal for he had let it grow longer than he was comfortable with. Most of the guys around here seemed to have longer hair. Seth wasn't a huge fan of that look so he normally kept his hair short and neat. This semester he had let his cuts fall behind. Not that it made a huge difference in the appearance of this thirteen year old boy.

Crossing the lawn he noticed a girl sitting down by herself. Looked about Seth's age if he knew anything about guessing ages. Instead of thinking it through, he walked over and took a seat beside the girl, keeping a fair distance though surely not far away from her in aspects that he didn't expect to attempt a conversation. "You seemed lonely" He said flashing a smile in the direction of the blonde who Seth seemed to key on who she was right away. Well at least she remembered her from the Gryffindor meeting. She was both in his year and house. "Though you might need some company. Hope you don't mind" He said leaning back on his elbows hoping she wouldn't just tell him simply to get lost. Truthfully Seth wasn't sure how he would react if she did.

[So sorry! I became uber busy with real life for a while but I've got things settled down and can start replying regularly now. :)]

Wendy had just finished pulling her messy golden locks up into a loose bun when she heard someone sitting beside her address her. Wendy saw that it was a boy, one that she'd seen before but couldn't exactly pin where for now. The Gryffindor girl smiled softly at his words, yes she did seem lonely at times, though perhaps lonely wasn't the best word to describe her right now. She had just finished her run, so tired would've been the more appropriate word. Still, lonely pretty much covered the majority of her time so she wasn't going to bother correcting him, as he was right in a sense.

When the boy spoke again, saying he thought she could use the company, Wendy smiled. "Thanks," she replied first, flashing him her signature smile before taking a drink of her water. Once she was done she smile and said, "I'm Wendy," she introduced herself to him, extending a hand all the way across the distance they were from each other.
