Seeking to Learn

Danyel went up to the fourth floor after doing his first lesson in Charms this semester. In his head he tried to remember the cleaning charm he had to look into, as well as some other charms he was interested in. Entering the fourth floor, he looked down the way towards the Hufflepuff common room, but turned this time to go towards the libary.

The fourth floor always seemed more lively with the Hufflepuffs common room here and the libary, and Danyel liked it like this more. "Okay, should be able to do this" Danyel said to himself, as he puts his school bag more up on his shoulder. It always seemed to slip a little after a while, and he was too lazy to fix it. Seeing some students from other houses wasn't really uncommon for him around here, as the libary was around. As he glanced at others and thought how many of them are coming from charms too, to immediately get done with the homework.

He noticed some familiar students, but also a lot of new ones for him. As he stepped on a little to where he thought the libary entrance was.

Eddie was never really big on libraries, but his sister had demanded that he do more study and so she'd put it in his head that he needed to go to the library all the time to study. Sometimes she even dropped by the library to check on him, which he thought was super weird. so generally he would just drop by the library to make sure that she couldn't complain about him not being there. This time, however, he was taking his time, he didn't want to have to deal with it. Amy was so annoying and he was certainly hoping that Maggie wouldn't be this much of a hassle when she got to the school. She was more like him, though, than she was like Amy. Eddie was very grateful for that. He missed out on seeing his friends a lot because of all of this. They just all had to be Hufflepuff's, just like Amy.

Finishing what he was doing in the library, Eddie was heading back to his dorm with a couple of books when he suddenly collided with another person who had been walking into the library. Losing his balance and dropping all of his books, Eddie looked up and laughed. "Man, that was a pretty hard fall!" He was clumsy enough as it was on his own, he didn't really need help to fall over. "Couldn't have done a better job myself." He told the boy, who he vaguely recognised, likely from classes. "I'm sorry, could you help me with these by chance?" He asked, scrounging to retrieve the several books or so he'd dropped.

Danyel just went around a corner till he felt the push and then the ground "Ouch" Saying it a little to himself, and rubbing his lower back, until he sees all the books scattered around. "I am sorry, just came around the corner at a bad time it seems" Explaining why this might have happened as he went from being on the ground to kneeling down. Picking up the books and putting them on each other to pick them up. "Why all the books? Were you going somewhere?" Danyel was curiously looking up now, to see if the other boy would answer.
