Madison walked along to the lakefront, and watch the water. She hadn't been here yet, nore have time to explore the area. The sun was still out, although it was begining to get dark. Just a few minuites Maddie thought, seating herself on the grass. Her blonde hair was being pulled back by the slight breeze, and Maddie shut her eyes.

Storm was swimming in circles under the water when he noticed a human girl. He swam up to the shore and let his head peek out from the water, but still only letting from his eyes and up to be seen, He brought his tail out of the water behind him and giggled slightly, watching the girl with interest.

Maddie opened her eyes suddenly, hearing somthing out of the ordinary. Slowly moving her glance to the water, she saw it. She didn't move, what is it? she thought, her eyes wide. She began to try to shimmy backwards a little, but couldn't very well. She sat there, looking at it, not knowing what it was, for it to make a move.

Storm smiled and went back below the water, Before shotting up a few metres into the air, Doing a backflip, And landing back into the water with a splash, sending it towards to human girl

When it went below the water, Maddie sighed a sigh of replief. Suddenly, it threw itself in the air, doing a backflip, and landing in the cool water in such a way it splashed her. She gave a small scream, not in fear but suprize. She sat there for a moment dazed, before pulling back her dripping hair, and standing up. She squealched over to the side over to lake, and crouching, she peared in.

Storm swam up to her and poked his head out of the water, There faces inches from each other. He smiled, Hoping she'd come in, He could only speak underwater, Otherwise it sounded like screeching.
He swam backwards in the water and let his tail come up and land back down in the water.

Maddie wasn't sure what to do. She watched caurously as he swam up, and smiled at her. She gave a little grin back. Should she go in? It was getting late, the water would be cold, but then, it might also be fun. She couldn't make up her mind.

Larissa saw a girl looking into the lake.
She approached her with the temptation to push her in but as she got closer she saw something in the water.

Storm made a hand gesture, wanting the girl to come in, Hopefully she could understand. He went back under the water and swam around, waiting for her.

Larissa felt this temptation too much and gave the girl a sharp push into the water.

Maddie decided she would go in, but before she had a chance to, she felt someone shove her from behind. She fell into the cold lake, and disapeared under the water. She floated about underneath, before rememerbing she had to swim. She glided to the top again for a breath, and to see who had push her. She saw a Slytherin girl she hadn't met before, rolling her eyes briefly, she ducked back under the water to see if she could see the thing..

(have to call you the thing lol, maddie doesnt know what you are yet :p)

Storm watched the girl be pushed into the water and laughed, before swimming over to her.
"Hello, I'm Storm." He said in a musical voice. Wondering how she would take to hearing him.

Maddie jumped (if thats possible under water) when she heard his voice. She listened and smiled. Realizing she wouldn't be able to do the same, she thought of somthing she could do. She waved at him, and pointing to herself she mouthed Maddie

Storm watched her mouth her name and smiled. "Nice to meet you Maddie." He said, She was probably a first year and couldn't do the air bubble charm.

(i would say maddie got some gillyweed but she prob dont know it..brb btw)

She smiled, glad he had understood her. Pointing to him, the best she could without being rude, she shrugged. She started getting a pain in her chest, and rose to the surface for more air before returning.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm a Merman." He said. He turned his gaze to the girl thst had pushed her in. Wondering if she was still there.

Larissa peered down into the water and saw something else moving down there.
What if that girl was in danger? She hadn't meant to get her killed.
Larissa made her decision in a second; She wrenched off her socks and shoes and jumped in after the girl.
It was an eerie site; Larissa's blonde hair fanned out around her, her clothes gently floated round her still body and her eyes were tightly shut.

Maddie shook her head. She had never heard of it. Suddenly, Maddies visions was a blur. Someone had jumped in front of her, creating white bubbles around them. She waited a moment, before vaugly noticing it was the girl who had pushed her in. Maddie's clothes started to feel heavy, and she wondered how she would explain getting so wet back at the castle.

Storm watched the other girl dive in and fumbled with his necklace, She didn't look to friendly, But then again she was young like the other so probably couldn't harm him, He even had a trident.

Larissa opened her eyes and stared at the scene before her.
She immediately recognised the creature that was staring into her face.
She turned to see the girl and tried to signal are you ok?

Maddie watched the girl and the merman, and nodded when she asked if she was alright. Of cource she was! she thought. Maddie looked down, to see the lake grow darker, and prosumily, chillier.

Storm raised his eyebrow at the girl infront of his. "Hello, We're talking much." He said in his usual musical tone, giving a slight frown.

Maddie looked up again, when storm spoke. Maddie poked the girl, encouraging to move out the way. She took another breath of air, and while she was above the water, she felt how much warmer the water was now she was in it. She drifted back below, to try to continue their convosation.

Larissa shrugged, bubbles flew up from her mouth and she made a small dive, still underwater, and used her legs as one as she swam away from the two of them into the icy depths.

Storm's eyes followed the girl as she left before going back to Maddie. "What were we talking about again?" He asked, Trying to remember, He'd been to distracted by the other girl that he'd forgotten.
