Ai wasn't sure on how she should be feeling at the moment. Ryuuji was graduating and she was as sure as hell that she was supposed to be really, really, absolutely, completely happy for him. In fact, she was. But, she couldn't help the sadness and loneliness in her too. The Ravenclaw was there for her for four whole years of her life and she was extremely grateful for that. In fact, at some point, she wished that they could just graduate together. But she knew that was far from possible. She wished that she could just go with the older boy outside of Hogwarts but that would be far from happening. She'd be going with Jeremiah over the course of vacation since she had no plans of going back to Japan after what had happened between her and Conan. She didn't tell it to Ryuuji yet, and she wasn't planning on telling him today. Ryuuji had graduated and it should be celebrated happily instead of him worrying about her.

The graduation ceremony had just finished and Ai was waiting outside of the Great Hall for her senpai/older brother to come out. She knew it would be quite some time before they get the chance to see each other again, considering that he was in Japan, and the little Japanese had no intention of staying in her home country just yet and she still had to finish her Hogwarts studies while she still had three years to go before she graduates. The Hufflepuff sighed. With Ryuuji leaving, she felt like she'd be all alone. Sure, she had Heath and Jeremiah with her, but then they didn't know everything that's going on with her. The only person that she truly confided in the most was her Onii-san and yet, he was now leaving the castle. She was really troubled by this but as the graduates started to flood out of the Great Hall, she decided to hide her emotions and plaster a smile at her face. Ryuuji did not need to know anything yet for today, he should celebrate and be happy.

If most students were looking forward to graduation, Ryuuji Tsukino wasn't. He knew that he should be happy since graduating would mean that he no longer have to endure sleepless nights thinking about and doing his homework, he no longer have to wake up early to attend his classes, he no longer have to spend his time listening to lectures. He should be happy, but he wasn't. For him, graduating meant leaving the castle and everything that was in it. Most of all, graduating would mean leaving Ai and Conan, leaving his 'siblings' behind, and he did not want that. The twins had made his stay at Hogwarts memorable. Meeting them was probably the best thing that had happened to him in the castle. He had shared a lot of happy memories with them, those, he treasured. But there were certainly unpleasant ones too, ones that haunted him until now, ones that was preventing him from being happy on this day that he should be celebrating.

The twins were still fighting. He blamed himself for this. He had not been there for them when it started; he had failed as an older brother. The thought brought tears to his eyes. He wiped them off, not wanting to appear weak, but then, the tears won't stop. He decided to just let them be. After all, he blended just right in with the other students who were crying probably because of joy. He sighed as the room filled with cheers. The ceremony had concluded. This was it. He was no longer a Hogwarts student. As soon as he left the castle, he might lose contact with the wizarding world too. His family were non magical, in fact, he had only been allowed to attend the school as long as he promised his father that he'd be focusing on their business once he graduated. His father had done his part of the bargain, he couldn't break his promise. He was raised to honor his words.

The Ravenclaw rubbed his eyes with the end of his sleeves. His eyes were red, his nose was too. He probably looked weak and silly, the image of him crying flashed in his mind. A young man crying, his father would have scolded him. He had grown taller over the years, something which surprised him. He had always thought that he would stay small for his age, apparently, his growth spurt had realized that it was time to do its job.

He let himself be lead by the students who were flooding out of the great hall. He didn't know where to go, the library? The student lounge? The lakefront? He didn't know. What he did know, however, was who he wanted to see. The twins.

He scanned the room for them, they should be around, right? He looked left and right but he failed to find them. He was on the verge of giving up when finally, as if the heaven had smiled on him, he saw her. Ai.

He quickly made his way towards her, a smile gracing his asian features. He was sure that his eyes were still quite red but he did not care. He wanted to talk to her, to them. If only Conan was there too. He was already standing in front of her in a matter of seconds.

"Won't you congratulate your nii-san?" He smiled and offered his hands to her. This might be the last time that they'd be able to see each other. He wanted to make this a memorable day. Not just a memorable one, but a good one.

Ai's mind had been wandering a lot. She had been thinking of how she'd survive her remaining three years in Hogwarts if her older brother wasn't around. Sure she had friends in the castle, but they just weren't Ryuuji in any way. The Japanese boy was different from all the other people she met in the castle, and she was as sure as hell that no one could ever replace the Ravenclaw. She wouldn't be alone was what she had always thought since she had Jeremiah and Heath and JazzyMae. They knew her, yes, but she had always found it hard to communicate with them. She could rarely talk to JazzyMae and she didn't want Heath to think that she was overdramatic and troublesome to be with, and with Miah, she would already be troubling him since she'd be living with his sister. Almost random thoughts would just come and go inside the Hufflepuff's mind, but even then, she kept a smile on her face.

Ai was quite surprised to have suddenly heard the Ravenclaw's voice and instead of accepting his hand or walking up to him, she had nearly tackled him to the ground with a hug. If anything had taught Ryuuji through the years they had known each other, it was that the Hufflepuff was quite unexpected at certain times. "Ryuuji-niisan!" the younger squealed in delight whilst she hug the graduate student. "Congratulations!" Ai beamed at him. And while, she wasn't really all too happy with him leaving Hogwarts, she knew that she had to at least congratulate her older brother for he did make it through seven years of studying at the said wizarding school. As she looked at him more closely though, she had vaguely noticed the redness in his eyes along with the worry and sadness. "Eeeh... Why isn't Nii-san happy?" the Hufflepuff asked with worried eyes what may have looked liked a rhetorical question before smiling. "Egao, ne?" Ai touched both sides of the boy's lips and made them form a smile. The Ravenclaw didn't need to be sad. He needed to be happy. "Anata wa yoku yatta, Ryuuji-niisan," she said with a rather big smile, her eyes almost closed. She was nearly crying both with happiness and sadness, she didn't want to shed tears though, her older brother shouldn't see her crying right now. Right now, all she had to do was be strong.
