HISTORY
Pre- wizarding school: When he was 9 years old, Sebastians mother, Paula Lopata, died. He was taken in by his mothers best friend, Anne Noel, because he did not know of any other family members. His father was never in his life and other than his last name, Sebastian knew nothing about him. Although he loved Anne, Sebastian and Annes boyfriend, Joel, did not get along at all. Things got worse when Joel moved in after proposing to Anne.
Salem:At the age of 11, Sebastian received a letter from Salem Institute saying that he was a wizard and had been accepted into the school. His mother had never told either him or Anne about having magical abilities, and both assumed that it must have been his father who was gifted in this sense. The young boy packed his bags and left for the school as soon as the term began. Even though Anne would miss him, he knew it was for the best. He figured that attending the school might help him to learn about his father. He returned home every summer and spent most of his time outdoors avoiding Annes fiancé and with his friends.
When Sebastian was in his third year, Anne and her fiancé got married. The 13 year old was not thrilled about the marriage, but knew that Anne loved the man. When he was home, Joel would inevitably seek an argument with Sebastian, who would not sit quietly. During one such argument right before his fourth year was set to begin, Joel hit Sebastian and the two ended up trading blows. That night, Anne told Sebastian that he would not be able to come back to her home after school finished for the year.
Sebastian returned to school that year, which was more of a haven than ever, but spent much of his time in detention for getting into fights with the other guys. He still did well enough in his classes, especially Potions. Toward the end of the year, as he was trying to figure out where he would go, Anne sent him a letter with an address in France. She claimed that the address was the home of his fathers mother, who she had found when going through an old diary of Paula's. He sent an owl to the woman, who told him to come.
Beauxbatons:
The day after school finished, Sebastian packed his school trunk and boarded a plane to France. His grandmother turned out to be an old, eccentric potioneer, but Sebastian quickly took a liking to her. She asked him to stay and helped him to get transferred into Beauxbatons, the wizarding school in France, so that he could begin his fifth year. The adjustment to a new school, new language and new country was not easy for Sebastian, though it was made easier when Trilby Kiedis came into his life. He never really grew to love the school, though he did care for some of the professors a great deal.
Ares Moon:
The brainchild of Sebastian and his old Salem friend, Willow Paradox, Ares Moon began as a duo. The two friends simply wanted to rock out and enjoy themselves. When Sebastian brought in friend, Leonardo de la Cruz and Willow brought in a Durmstrang student named Seraphina Klein, Ares Moon was born. The group played together first in bars and clubs and later small venues where they gained moderate success. When the lead singer left to have a child, Sebastian took over lead vocals, enjoying the increase in popularity at first. As their tour continued, Sebastian felt that the group was losing its image as they were told to play songs differently. He also grew tired of the constant travel and how he never seemed to have time for the things that mattered. After completing the tour, Sebastian sat down with his bandmates and told them that he was leaving Ares Moon for a while. After some months of travel, Sebastian informed his band by owl that he would not be returning to work on their next album.

During his travels, Sebastian ran into an old acquaintance, Kathryn Kingsley and they'd begin a friendship that would then turn into a courtship. Earning some fame from a hit song that he'd written, Sebastian felt that his own music might be better accepted and with the newfound confidence from his relationship, he returned to the stage as a solo artist, performing in small venues. He and Kathryn's careers both began to take off at the same time, his in music and hers in acting, and they had less and less time to see each other. But, somehow, they made it work, and around the holidays of 2042(check date), he and Kathryn eloped in Las Vegas, a drunken night that was captured by the media. While not ideal in how it had happened, the pair had hoped to marry someday anyway. In late 2043, the pair announced that they were expecting their first child in April 2044.
